Nate’s Auto is the best shop I’ve worked with, and one I will continue to bring my families vehicles to time and time again. We moved out of state for a few years and one of the many checks in the “pros” column for coming back to VT was the peace of mind knowing we’d have an honest and pleasant interaction with Cory and Will with fairly priced great work whenever we needed maintenance.

Complete Service Just picked up my Subaru Crosstrek plug-in hybrid from its "spa" visit to Nate's: oil change, tire rotation, required state safety inspection and issuance of new sticker, complete mechanical inspection, resulting in new rear brakes, followed by a full interior and exterior detail and wax job. Literally on top of it all, they re-installed the roof carrier and ski rack I had removed last year. Thanks, Nate's!

Nate’s Auto had great customer service. Easy to get a hold of and great help over the phone. I appreciated their text follow up immediately after they checked out my car to let me know what needed work. Not the small-town, honest and unassuming type of shop I’m used to and value, much more on par with dealership type service. Im sure they do good quality work, prices just ended up higher than I wanted for my old, high-mileage vehicle.

I had a great time buying my car from Nate's! Johnny was super helpful. For every question or concern I rattled off, he fired right back with an answer -- the whole process was almost seamless. I was confident when I left on a Friday that I would be able to leave with my car Monday. That was a fantastic feeling! Thank you for making me feel so welcome and having a great sense of humor. We found Nate's automotive approximately a year ago. So happy we did as there was some major work that came up for both automotive and body work. Will and Brianna are the best in the business. They are the customer service individuals you experience first and so knowledgeable and communicative. Nate's technicians are some of the best in the business. Nate's comes with the highest recommendation and trust for our Audi Q5 2011!

These guys shouldn't touch a car with a ten foot pole. Scam artists. Misdiagnose cars. Then when I wrote a negative review the owner messaged me on facebook 'take it down' then called my place of work twice to try to intimidate me then called my wife at home to try to haver her intervene. I will not be bullied by a shop that is not looking out for the community. I will not be shut down by harassment by the owner. Not acceptable at all. As an update to the previous review the owner not only called my place of work on repeated days but has now also tracked down my supervisor and tried to get me fired from my job by lying to them. I understand now how they have positive reviews. They try to intimidate people by being thugs. It won't work.

Best guys for VW eurovan work in the entire State of Vermont. We owe 4 VWs from a Tuner R to the vans and Nates hooks it up and gets it They keep our rides running great for weekend excursions.

I would highly recommend Nate’s to anyone. Will was very knowledgeable and they were fair, and helped me out with troubleshooting even after the maintenance was performed on my vehicle.

I had number of issues. I needed a new battery. I had some error messages which Nate's looked and gave me a full appraisal of what they found and suspected issues were (caused by low voltage from old failing battery. ) All personal I worked with, included Nate, were friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed working with this group.

Finally, I found that garage that could fix my or should I say finished my complete motor swap from 4 years ago and that garage is Nate’s Automotive. I had an issue with my dash gauges, never worked right. Thank you very much specifically Nate and Johnny. You guys are the best and I would recommend Nate’s Auto to anybody that needs auto work done. Best garage experience I have had in a very long time, very honest and true to the industry.

*UPDATE* Received a call from the sales manager shortly after this (previously) review. Turns out it was a miscommunication and he did not know anything about the inspection I requested. After apologizing, Trevor (sales manager) allowed me to purchase the car from them at the exact price that I was going to pay. I am very impressed and grateful for their honesty. Sometimes it’s hard to trust a shop after a mishap like this, but honestly, after this experience with the team, I trust them more than I would have if things had worked out the first time. Thanks guys! *PREVIOUSLY* Be careful! I paid them to inspect a used car I wanted to buy. Instead of inspecting the car, they contacted the seller directly and bought it out from under me. First photo is the car gurus listing from the original lister just before I hired them. The second photo is showing the same car listed on the website a week later.

Earlier this evening I was in Essex around 7:00 and I found a nail in my tire. I went into a gas station with maybe hopes I could fill it with fix a flat to make the 40 min drive home. I happened to see a guy buying drinks and I asked him if he thought my idea would work. he told me to follow him to his shop and he could repaired my tire with a plug, free of charge no matter how much I tried to convince him of payment. he went above and beyond with his family in the car to take less then 10 min to help me out and I couldn’t have be more thankful for his kindness so I 1000% recommend his auto shop! We need more people on the world like him. Thank you so much Nate ⭐️

First off, excellent work and excellent customer service! I came in for some repair to my exhaust, an oil change, checking the stretch on my timing chain, and diagnosing a suspected bad wheel bearing. Not only were they able to complete all scheduled work on time, they were also able to complete the wheel bearing replacement after confirming the issue. They covered more work than expected and still returned my vehicle to me at the estimated time The service team was communicative, prompt, and knowledgeable. The mechanics provided detailed descriptions of the work that was completed and included as much info as possible. The folks at Nate's Auto are top notch, and provide service that is beyond quality. 10/10 would recommend them as a high integrity, responsive, and highly knowledgeable team

On 1/16/24, I took the car in (my first time and based on a recommendation) to check for possible brake line rusting. Not only did they give me a clean bill of health, they took me to the shop and showed me all lines so I could see that they were fine. Excellent customer service.

Despite knowing About Nates auto for years as a reputable shop in the area, I had never bought or brought a car there. That changed when my BMW diesel had an issue my normal Mechanic did not have the resources for. I would much rather give my business to a local business than a dealership any day, so I instantly thought of Nates auto. I worked with Johnny top to bottom, and when the job took longer than expected due to parts that needed to be replaced, they made extra accommodations. When I got my car back, not only was the original job completed, but other previously undiscovered repairs were made as well (with my approval of course). This has been a lingering issue for sometime that Nate and his crew were able to take care of for me in one trip. Thanks guys!

Wow the entire staff at Nates is incredible, everyone is happy to see you and smiling. The service is top notch. Cory is a master of his profession, his follow up not just during the job but after as well is spot on and simply is not something found these days. We had our two year old car detailed, I think it might look better than new. We also had a new car ceramic coated and it looks great. Price was fair & competitive, service was excellent including a courtesy ride. This is the place to go when you want the best work, customer service, and experience.

Needed snow tires and Nates was highly recommended. Very nice guys would highly recommend. I will be back as my car needs its various services.

I live about an hour away from Nate's. I had my car towed to Nate's needing a new clutch. In talking things through with their very friendly and helpful customer service rep, I decided to additionally have a stage 1 tuning done to my 2003 Audi TT. I couldn't be happier with the end result. The car runs great now. I felt very comfortable dealing with the staff at Nate's and have confidence their mechanics can handle any future repairs on my vehicle. I'm so glad I brought my car to Nate's. They've earned my trust and future business. I highly recommend their services.

Nates auto is hands down the best body shop I have ever used. They do quality work at very reasonable price. What separates them from everyone else is the customer service. I had the pleasure working with Shawna and she went above and beyond to help. I was hit by another driver and Shawna did all the coordination with the other insurance company, not only that but when the other insurance company tried to take my rental before the shop was finished she was able to get it extended. Any issues that came up it took one phone call to Shawna and it was handled. I am fairly new to the area but they will always have my business for as long as I’m here. I highly recommend using them for any work that needs to be done on your car!

I had my car towed to Nate's after my wife was in an accident. Nate towed it himself. Had to come back and see if the car was totaled or not. Their team there was able to just look at it and tell me that it was totaled and not to worry about the insurance company wanting to try to fix it. Great service and they were extremely friendly. I've been using Nate's for years, and they have gone out of their way to help me out of a jam or two. This week I used their body shop after a small fender bender. They got my car back to me in tip-top shape, and two days faster than estimated. The Cory, Shawna and the entire staff are excellent to work with. Clearly, they understand customer service very well.

Where do I start for Nate's Auto. This team is amazing and then some. I came to see them after speaking to a few body shop places and none even came close to providing the level of detail, attention and general amazing customer service they did. Ed at the bodyshop went above and beyond to make sure my car was in top shape for my upcoming inspection. They managed to fit me in at a very busy time of year and made my car safe and ready for the 2019 winter! I cannot recommend Ed and Nate's enough. Nate, the owner of the entire place is just as wonderful. He personally made sure to greet me, understand my concerns and by the end of my appointment, he felt like a friend! Excellent customer service and incredible craftsmanship. Highly recommended!

I brought my vehicle into Nate's Automotive for a car detail. These guys fit me into their schedule in a timely fashion. The customer service was incredible from William and Tim. not only did they make my car look better and smell better than it ever has been they also were able to give me a last minute oil change within the same time frame. I highly recommend Nate's Automotive and you best believe I'm going back!
