Super happy with our experience coming here. The staff is awesome and even though the car was too expensive to fix they were helpful with places that would buy our car as is and they gave us a bunch of helpful info to help us out. They were honest and communicated with us in a timely manner and hopefully not any time soon but if we ever need more repairs we will 100% bring our cars here.

I’ve use these guys three times now for jobs big and small over the last few years. I’m super happy with the quality of their work and the prices are fair. The one difficulty I’ve had with this shop is that they are always busy so it can take several days to a few weeks to get my ride back. I figure they just have a lot of repeat business from guys like me so there is always a wait to get service.

R&R automotive was wonderful. We took our car in for a free examination because we couldn’t figure out what the problem was ourselves. We still haven’t decided what we’re going to do moving forward, but they were very kind and helpful and helping us figure out what the issue was as much as they could.

Honest mechanic at a reasonable price! They’re popular, so you often have to schedule a while in advance, but it’s because they’re a good mechanic that won’t screw you over. They recommend additional services like any other mechanic, but they’re not pushy and they’re happy to email you more information so you can make a decision later. This morning I was in and out for my appointment within an hour, and I got the smallest bill I’ve ever had at a mechanic. The girl at the front desk was lovely to deal with as well. Would recommend!

Took our Nissan Armada to the dealer and they wanted 1300 to change the air fuel sensor R and R did it for 480 bucks! I will never use another auto shop! They earned my trust

Oh boy! I would not recommend going here. My car broke down we had it towed here due to being the closest place and that was a huge mistake. They have had my car for over 3 weeks and they were not even able to fix it and we have to pay over $2,000. They did their tests and said they found the problem.. no word from them until my husband called a week later for them to say the person working on my car was sick so it would be a couple more days. We then call again when it had been a week of not hearing anything for them to say “oh yeah we should’ve called you” they said they fixed the issue but now a new issue came up with the engine and they would have to run a $185 test to see what was wrong:. We then say okay because we did not know what else to do.. then they say they can’t figure it out so wait until Monday to see if another guy could fix the issue. Monday night comes and we don’t hear anything. We call again on Tuesday for them to say they cannot figure out the issue so we have to get it towed out of there?? Like it’s insane to tow your vehicle to the mechanic then have to tow it somewhere else? So strange to me. Then they are still charging us for the engine diagnosis when you could not diagnose it?? HAHA ladies do not come here, they take advantage of you. They offered a discount of $100 so not even for the full test which I guess is better than nothing but these guys have had my car for over 3 weeks and have no sense of urgency or explaining anything. When we would ask questions they could not give any answers. Our usually mechanic was out of the office until Jan 20th but at this point we should’ve just waited for him to be back because he is at least honest and helpful and it would’ve been less time waiting for him. I’m really disappointed!! Do not go here!! Good thing I work close or I could been out a job with how long these guys take. Just super not helpful and not very friendly and charge so much money!

My car was taken for an oil leak and it took a month to “fix”. After the fixed it they said there was a rattling in the engine and it would be an additional $200 to diagnose. They diagnosed it by just telling me they couldn’t figure it out and are still going to charge me the diagnosing fee on my final bill. So, my car spent a month at this shop and is still not able to be driven. I am actually towing it from this mechanic to a new mechanic so that I can actually get a functioning car!

R&R serviced my Yukon quickly and for a reasonable price. I like how they recommend other work that needs to be done based off a complimentary inspection but aren't pushy afterwards and lets you decide what you want done at the time. Will definitely go back.

Excellent work... I needed a transmission flush... They took extra time to make sure the job was done right and no extra charge... Definitely recommend and I will be returning for more work coming up.

I can't comment on the actual work as I am not a mechanic. What I can say is that I asked a few question regarding my service after it was done and was told at the front desk..."I don't know, I DIDN'T DO IT!" ...this was after I was quoted a price over the phone, but on the day of service they wanted to charge me 3 times more. This was very disappointing especially because the company I work for has given over 10 years of work to them...I was very disappointed how I was treated as a individual. I may need to suggest that my company reviews if we move forward with them regarding our fleet.

I would not recommend to anyone and I won’t be going back. I didn’t have the best experience with them. They had my vehicle for a week with little updates on what was going on and then when I got it smelt bad inside. I could tell they tried to prevent that by putting an air freshener inside, but it didn’t work. They are also are on the pricey side. For them to even look at your car costs almost $400. Last thing I want to say is the girl working in the front was the only nice one and the only one who seemed to care about customers. Everyone else could care less that you’re there

Unfortunately this shop isn't what they say they are. I had problems from getting the appointment to diagnostic to final bill and getting my car back. Save your time and money and find a better place to go.

Love these guys. They have always been honest and provide quality work. They have not only helped me out with issues on my own vehicle but my dads as well..

R&R is always great! I've been going to them for years and they always do a great job and get to my car within a few days as the very most.

My entire family and I will never go anywhere but to R&R Auto. They have serviced our Chevy Tahoe, Nissan Titan, Honda Accord, Mazda CX7 and Nissan Maxima. In our most recent experience we had trouble with our Mazda and could not get the check engine light to go off. They ended up replacing several parts that did not solve the problem and did not charge us a dime for the parts or for the labor! They also helped us find a solution to the problem and referred us out. In the old cliche' about how dishonest some auto mechanics are, you will never find a more honest, up front and Integrous auto shop anywhere in Utah County. I highly recommend R&R Auto and their entire team! My family and I will never go anywhere else!!

I just moved to the area and had my car towed here through insurance for a tire repair. And that’s exactly what they did! $25 later and my tire is repaired and good as new. They didn’t try to convince me I needed a new tire or tried to make me buy additional services, which I appreciated SO MUCH! They were respectful and had wonderful customer service. I will 100% be back for any future vehicle needs. Very happy! Thank you!!!

They do quick work! I've only ever done lube and oil appointments, but my car is generally done 30-40 minutes from my appointment time. Staff is friendly.

R & R Automotive has ALWAYS done a great job. They do a complete, no pressure evaluation and explain what’s necessity vs what can wait, which I appreciate. Definitely my trusted mechanic.

R&R has always been great to work with, is honest about our options, and doesn't charge us for every little thing. They have, on more than one occasion, given us courtesy inspections and even made small repairs, like tightening a bolt, with little to no charge.

R&R takes time and does a thorough inspection of the vehicle. They gave me an itemized list of issues my old car had and allowed me to pick from the list what they repaired. I appreciate their work.

I went to R&R because they were local. I had a code indicating I had a very small leak in the Evaporative Emission System of a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. I paid a diagnostic fee as was told the leak detector pump was bad. So, I had them replace it. When I got the jeep back, the steering wheel was greasy, the front seat was greasy and both front fenders were greasy. If greasy was the only problem, it might have been fine. But the next day I started the Jeep up and the system threw an error code. I once again checked it, and found it was the exact same code I was getting before. I called R&R about bringing it back. They told me to. I also called another garage and they told me how much it was going to cost to take it to them. Then I searched on Google about the issue and watched a video on YouTube about what a technician does to diagnose the problem. One of the first things that was mentioned was to check the gas cap. So I checked it. The gas cap was loose. I cleaned the cap and make sure it was tight. I reset the code. I drove it around for a few days so it was ready for inspection. I took it to an inspection station - it passed I haven't had any problems since then. So, I can only conclude that R&R doesn't know what they are doing or they are simply dishonest. I won't return!

I had a very unfortunate experience with R&R Automotive. In July 2025 we took our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country in to get the AC repaired before a long trip we were going on later that same week. They quoted us $1,800 to repair the AC and also another smaller issue with the van. I would have gotten other bids but we were pressed for time with the trip coming so I just told them to do it. After they had taken the van apart and done some work, they informed me that it would actually be a $3,000 repair because some piece was sealed on and they would need to cut it off and replace it. Again I would have gone elsewhere to get other bids but we were pressed for time with the trip, so I had them do it. I have no idea if the additional expense was real or fake, but it caught me off guard and I think a quote should be a quote and not change. After the repair, we drove it for a couple weeks and started noticing problems. The van was overheating when it shouldn’t have been. Subsequently everything in the cooling system started dying. The radiator fan died, the water pump died, and the thermostat died, all within the space of a week. We had a different mechanic come and look at the van, and he found a clamp on the heater hose. This new mechanic told me that this clamp was messing up my cooling system and leading to the needed repairs. I asked R&R about it and they confirmed that they left the clamp there on accident. I told them I had to pay for additional repairs due to this clamp, but Ian at R&R told me that it was totally coincidental that my entire cooling system died when the clamp was on the heater hose. He offered to reimburse me $100, and after negotiating I got him up to $400 reimbursement, when the additional repairs were almost $1,800, plus any unknown additional damage to the vehicle that I haven’t found yet. Needless to say, I disagree with Ian and believe that the heater hose clamp lead to the needed repairs. Ian told me that if I had brought the vehicle into them then they would have done the repairs for free - but why would I have done that when I initially thought the cooling issue was separate (before the other mechanic found the clamp), and when I felt like we had been coerced into the $3,000 repair when it should have been $1,800 anyways. If I had brought it in to them, I am not convinced that they would have told me about the heater hose clamp, but rather just charged me for all the cooling system repairs. I am glad I had an independent mechanic look at the van to find the clamp issue. I will not be going back to R&R. The R&R response to this review will likely be telling me that the cooling issues on my van were all coincidental and that the $3,000 AC repair was legit, and I’m just the guy with the crappy van. It could all be true, but I don’t believe it. The one positive thing is that Ian at R&R did acknowledge that his team left the clamp on the heater hose. That was good of them to acknowledge their mistake, even if ultimately they didn’t want to own the impact of those mistakes.

Our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a noise in the front end steering, we scheduled an appointment and received a bid which included many items that did not need to be done (spark plugs, cabin air filter, fuel system cleaning, etc) those maintenance items have been taken care of by another shop we usually use. I agreed to have a output shaft seal replaced along with the 2 sway control links that I new needed replaced. We picked up the Jeep and took it home, the next9ting we had oil leaks under the car, I explained to my wife that if you replace an output shaft seal you may have some oil that leaked out onto the frame and that may take a day or two to clear off. It did not stop but continued to leak, I scheduled a follow up appointment and dropped off the Jeep, no call during the day of service, no call at the end of the day, I had to call to inquire as to the condition of the Jeep. Associate Nitro explained that my leak was a different part than had been repaired and my favorite portion toe hear... A usual problem with this engine? Attached is the image of my driveway with the 8 days of leak. They kept the Jeep a second day as Nitro did not have any answers as to what the "tech" had looked into or reviewed that day. On the second day a new associate sent images of the new issue to my wife and then called her, she asked him to call me. My call consisted of cold straight forward not our problem, we cleaned the area and drove the Jeep, our repaired part has no leaks, again the Jeep did not leak oil when parked previously. When we arrived to pick it up, new associate walked me out to point out to me where the parts had been replaced and the "new leak" was located. I payed no attention to his I am a mechanic attitude as I know where all those parts are located and what is required to replace them. When in our earlier phone conversation he stated that the oil filter housing on the 3.6 has problems and we keep those parts on hand to replace them, I had enough of an idea of how this would go. And he did not disappoint. I do not suggest or recommend this establishment for vehicle service. I am a current customer service manager, former emissions, auto inspection, tire service, front end alignment and general mechanic. I am 62 and currently do not have a sufficient garage to have replaced the parts myself as we are building a new home and renting.

We had to bring our truck in for last minute ac service. They fitted us in and done as promised so we could continue our camping trip. They are all very friendly and very helpful. We already have another appt when we get back to address another issue. They are definitely cheaper then the Ford dealers.

We've always had good luck with this shop. They're friendly and do good work. Even when they're extremely busy (which they frequently are, and that's a good sign) their turnaround is usually a day or two at most. I like that they text out a link to see the exact items they're quoting you along with totals and such so you can be looking at it while they talk you through it on the phone. We've been taking our cars here for years and we plan to continue.

Gotta give them 5 stars right now. Took my truck in for VVT replacement and valve cover gasket on both sides. We had a failure on the replacement gasket and ended up getting an oil leak. I brought it on and they fixed it up for me without issue. That was super cool to see them stand by their work and parts. Pretty solid of them to do that.

This auto repair shop is very friendly and most importantly competent and honest. They understand the intricate repairs of modern vehicles and have highly qualified mechanics to do the work. I went in to get my radiator inspected and repaired and they did everything quickly. I went in to pay and they refused to charge me stating that the labor was quick and no charges will be necessary. I was happily shocked. When a mechanic passes on an opportunity to charge a customer they are clearly not trying to take advantage of us as some do. This is refreshing and rare. Thank you R and R for a great experience.

Dishonest shop. Heres why I think so. My ex took our daughter's car in for an oil leak. They said the torque strut was leaking. (They don't even have fluid in them). In their inspection they said the transmission fluid was also dirty and it needed a service. I just serviced it 4 weeks ago. They said the belts needed to be replaced. I replaced them as well 4 weeks ago. So I'm a mechanic. I talked to the manager. He said yes they are replacing the torque strut. Because it was leaking. I replaced the torque strut, so I knew it was good. And the torque strut doesn't even hold fluid. I repeat it doesn't even hold fluid. It's a metal dog bone looking brace, no fluid! When I called him about everything he just kept making excuse after excuse. Well you can't bullshit another tradesman. When I told him I had just serviced the tranny he said "well you didn't get all the fluid because some gets left in the torque converter bla bla". Thats true but an honest mechanic has his customers best interest in mind and should have said oh thanks for telling me it was just serviced. I'll removed that because I dont want to ruin your transmission by servicing it to much to quick. Because we all know tranny fluid is part detergent and cleaning the tranny to fast can plug the whole thing up fast and take the tranny out. Thats why power flushes killed so many transmissions. But no, he still wanted to service the transmission. Maybe they are good at what they do but they are good at bullshitting as well. They may fix what's wrong, hopefully, but at the expense of paying for thousands of unnecessary repairs. I should have asked them to top off the blinker fluid, tighten the muffler bearings and fix any other fake thing they can come up with while they are under the hood. If the manager is dishonest chances are that's the way the whole thing is operated. Thats my 2 cents. Update: after it was taken to another shop. They found the oil leak was from the valve cover gasket.

They were friendly and did a good repair on my car! I went in for a voltage charge problem, got it diagnosed and fixed the next day. Very quick and efficient! The only reason for 4 stars is they recommended me a lot of services due to my mileage, which if I did all of them the bill would’ve been close to 2k. The mechanic did say it was only a recommendation which was nice. But to a person who doesn’t know about their car, probably harder to say no.

They got my 1993 Suburban weekend fun mobile running on time and under budget. Highly recommend. Take your vehicle here!! Fantastic. The Tortuga lives to ride another day. THANK YOU R&R TEAM.
