I had the front and rear suspension replaced on my 2017 pilot, as well as having Iron Hand check out a mystery noise my car makes when starting. They were great about communicating clearly with me before and during the work, answering all of my questions and providing quotes that clearly break down the cost of parts, labor, and shop fees, so there are not unexpected costs. The suspension feels much better than before, and they diagnosed the mystery sound on my car while being kind enough not to charge a diagnostic fee. I appreciate all of the team’s help and kindness throughout the process!
This is one of the only places I've brought my 2008 Subaru Forester since moving to the area, and I'm definitely going to continue doing so. They're always honest and friendly, and they explain what's going on with your car, which is important to me as someone who doesn't know much about cars at all. Prices for labor also seem very reasonable: the oil change I got here was a much better price than some places I've gone to.
To make a long story short I took my 6.7L cummins in for a repair. The Iron Hand crew diagnosed the issue along with an old issue a different mechanic did not find.
They fixed my truck and it runs stronger than before. I recommend this Diesel garage!
My 20 year old vehicle had several issues. Iron Hand gave a fair quote and shopped around for the best prices on parts. The new ac compressor failed while being tested so they had to r&r it again and apologized profusely for something they had no control over. Laura is very knowledgeable and explains the services so they can be understood by customers. I will be utilizing their services in the future.

Brought my 2002 F-250 7.3 in for a "pre-purchase" inspection (post-purchase). They were friendly and extremely helpful from the start. Jason took extra time to go over my list of concerns that I brought with me and made sure that he covered all the items during his own inspection.
If you're new to diesels and are thinking of purchasing a diesel truck, or just want a second pair of eyes on things, I'd highly recommend their pre-purchase inspection. They are incredibly thorough. When they're done, they sit down and walk through everything with you, then email you a copy of the report with photos and videos of what they find.

I called around to find a shop that would work on our 1992 Toyota Corolla and was directed here by Sara at Nc Neil’s shop in Draper. The fuel pump wasn’t working and so we towed the car into the shop. This is a second vehicle with sentimental meaning for me. Laura runs the front desk and is very pleasant to deal with. She kept me informed of what the mechanics found and let me decide the repairs. Laura sent the paperwork over email to me to approve it. I didn’t rush the mechanics to service the car because I wanted a complete picture of what might be going on with it. The mechanics did a thorough job and did the repairs in a timely manner. The cost for the major repairs were reasonable. The car runs better now without the drag it had before breaking down. I will continue to use this garage. I was treated well and with respect.
I’ve had them work on my car on two different occasions & both times. The owners, George & Jason, are so very nice. Laura is the receptionist/office manager, & is very courteous, very knowledgeable & accommodating. She knows her stuff well & lends a helping hand whenever George & Jason need help. Man if you have issues on your diesel iron hands the way to go. I had my DPF replaced along with my EGR and my glow plugs (not a cheap fix at all) and everyone from the techs to the office staff were very knowledgeable (most importantly) and professional (updating with pictures through the process). I got my truck in (3500 Chevy) very fast and my truck was done in two weeks (try getting into a house name diesel shop in that time) they work with you as long as you are patient (good work doesn’t come fast or cheap) all I can say is as long as I have diesel issues iron hand garage is my go to.
I have a 1999 Tacoma and was having a hard time finding someone to work on it. Iron Hand got us in quickly and got the repair done in a timely manner. They were so pleasant to work with and got our truck running like it should.
We had an unexpected major issue with our GMC right before a planned camping trip. Called at 5:00 pm and they were able to get us in the next morning. Quickly identified the issue, sent video’s documenting the problem and had us back on the road in a day.

Iron hand was able to repair my bent rim in one day at a reasonable price. This saved me a ton of money because I have a weird tire size and air suspension. The repair otherwise would have cost me a lot! They were also friendly and helpful.
Iron Hand Garage is legit! Jason & George are super friendly and are great at their craft. They replaced my PITA Ecodiesel's glow plugs AND an exhaust leak for HALF the cost another garage charged for just the plugs several months earlier. They also report to Carfax so your maintenance is documented. Awesome & honest work. I won't be going anywhere else in the future & highly recommended them. Btw guys, I finally sold it and got the Hemi :) Thank you Iron Hand!
So impressed! As a girl who knows next to nothing about cars, I always wonder if I’m being swindled. The guys at Iron Hand Garage put me immediately at ease - they were kind and helpful and oozing with integrity. I called to see if they could help me get 2 bolts off my license plate that were stuck so I could put new tags on under the license plate holder...drove there immediately and Jason helped me. He got the bolts off in 30 seconds with a screwdriver and didn't charge me a single penny. He wouldn't let me pay him anything either.
The shop I talked with yesterday (1-7-25) was going to charge me over $150 and remove the entire cover on the door to remove the bolts from the inside.
Jason deserves an award for not taking advantage of women who need minor "repairs" on their car. Thank you so much! I will definitely be going back!

Not only were they super informative, they quoted me accurately, pricing was affordable especially as a single mother during the holidays. George went above and beyond by making sure I had a ride home, and even dropped my car off once the repairs were completed. They’ve definitely got my business from here moving forward. Everyone we dealt with were very helpful and knowledgeable. My son had a water pump replaced. They did a thorough check of the entire truck and addressed all of our issues, really great guys. Definitely will recommend them to others and use them in the future if the need arises.
I want to start out by saying, these are some of the must trustworthy mechanics I’ve worked with. Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My Ram 1500 Eco-Diesel blew a turbo and driver’s side exhaust manifold. The dealer told me I needed both exhaust manifolds, a new turbo, up pipe, and the list goes on. The dealers price ended up being north of $7,300, but the guys at iron hand garage were able to diagnose exactly what needed to be replaced and charged me under $4,000 for all of it. They had it done within 3 days, which is very impressive because they had to remove the entire cab. After the technician who worked on my truck completed the job, Jason took it for a test drive and noticed a very small coolant smell. He had his guys tear the whole top end off the truck and found a pin-hole coolant leak under the intake manifold that was totally unrelated to the other issues. They repaired that, and even cleaned my intake manifold which was extremely sooted up from the emissions crap that goes in diesel engines. Iron Hand garage didn’t charge me a cent for all the extra work they performed, they just wanted to make their customer happy. I will definitely be returning for all my future mechanical needs, and if any of my family members need mechanic recommendations, this is where they will be sent. Thanks again to all the guys at Iron Hand Garage, y’all are the best! I would give an extra star if I could, but I’ll have to stick to 5/5
Everyone I interacted with here was super friendly and accommodating and they were able to get the work done on my car quickly and at a reasonable price. They were also more than happy to explain any issues to me, which is great for someone like me who isn't the most car-savvy but still wants to understand what I'm getting repaired. The end price for the work was also a bit cheaper than the quote, which was nice. I had my "new" used car inspected and fixed as needed within a couple of days. Out of the few mechanics I've been to recently with this car, I would definitely choose to go to this one again in the future! Highly recommend!

I take both my Acuras here, I have had suspension and engine work done on both cars and each time it was done in a timely manner and with reasonable pricing. All staff are professional and they answer/show any concerns or questions you had about the repairs. 100% recommend to anyone.

I don't have a dedicated mechanic in the area yet, so I've been searching for someone I trust to work on my cars. I discovered Iron Hand Mobile Service through a friend of mine, so I decided to give them a shot. The service they provide is so convenient because THEY come to YOU.
I checked their website and decided to contact them via email and let them know the work I needed. I have a Toyota Prius and a Volvo S60 which both needed minor repairs and an oil change, nothing major. I woke up to an email from Jorge, the owner of IHMS, who responded promptly, giving me a very reasonable quote for the work I requested. VERY reasonable price for being a mobile service.
Jorge was courteous and very easy to work with. I appreciated that he was very honest in the work he performed and he texted me letting me know what other work needed to be done (changing air filter). This is my expectation of my mechanic, and Jorge exceeded!
He allowed me to take a peek in his trailer. He has a very robust mobile tool-shed, so if you're worried whether or not he can perform a specific task, ask him first, because most likely he has the tool & the experience for the job.
Jorge did an awesome job on our vehicles. Fast and efficient and clean work. I highly recommend Jorge for your vehicle needs. He does specialize in diesel service/repair, however, it seems he can work on just about anything with an engine. I'll be contacting him for any future vehicle servicing.
