I purchased a battery earlier this summer that turned out to be completely defective. After bringing it in to be charged, it still did not work. When I returned to have it replaced, I was belittled and spoken to in a condescending, hostile manner by an older male employee. He was rude, dismissive, and made it clear he had no interest in helping me. Despite the battery clearly not functioning, he refused to replace it and instead recharged it again—unsurprisingly, it still did not work. I was treated as if I were incompetent and wasting his time. The situation was so poorly handled that my father had to call the store manager before anyone was willing to resolve the issue properly. Only then was a replacement approved. When I returned to the store, the same employee glared at me and continued his unprofessional behavior. There was absolutely no justification for the way I was treated. As a frequent customer who regularly runs errands for my family, I expect basic respect. No customer should be treated this way, especially not based on age or gender. This employee’s behavior was unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the store.

I wouldn't even give this store ONE STAR but you have to at least check one of them!!!! I asked for the sales guy named LUKE if he could put my headlight bulb in that I purchased from the store today and he started saying most cars are difficult and they are not equipped to do the cars that are not easy. I stopped him and said I was just in here 2 months back and the nice guy that I bought the headlight from didn't give me excuses he came out happily and was able to have it in and me back on the road in less than 10 minutes!!!!!!!! Now after I told good ole' LUKE this he said that the passenger side is harder than the drivers side like im dumb enough to believe that. I told him that was funny the guy that helped me from this location months ago didn't have any issues whatsoever!!! He than decided to blame it on his hands being to big and it might take a special tool to insert the headlight. The guy that helped me before DIDN'T USE ANYTHING BUT HIS HANDS!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! IF I HAD KNOWN THIS I WOULDNT OF BOUGHT THE HEADLIGHT FROM HIM I WOULD OF WENT TO MY TRUSTY NICE GUYS AT "AUTOZONE" THAT DONT MAKE EXCUSES BECAUSE THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO DO IT!!!!!! YOU NEED TO HAVE PEOPLE WORKING AT YOUR STORE THAT WANT TO HELP CUSTOMERS AND ACTUALLY WORK. SUPER WEIRD AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!

My experiences at this store (I will continue to update every time I visit): *D.J. helped me get the right cooling system thermometer & gasket for my truck when others failed to get the right one. *Jessie and Curtis helped me out with my SuperStart Premium battery warranty replacement. My thought thus far? - knowledgeable and helpful staff, product availability, rewards program… 👍🏻 I trust this store.

We had to jump our car this morning so my husband took it here to test the battery and get a new one. They told him it wasn’t the battery, but the starter, and to take it to a mechanic. Luckily our mechanic didn’t believe them that it was the starter, but they had to run an $80 diagnosis and found it it WAS the battery and we just needed a new one. Luckily we didn’t spend $200 to replace the starter like O’Reilly said we should, but still out $80 that we could’ve saved had they just known it was an old battery

I had the pleasure of working with Joe today. Extremely friendly and helpful. He gave great recommendations on windshield wipers and then installed them for me. I well continue coming too this location. I have never been disappointed by the customer service provided here.

I had a check engine light come on. O’Reilly‘s Auto Parts offers a free code reader to detect possible problems. Within a few seconds, I had a basic idea of what part I need to buy to get my car going again and remove the code. The employees have always been Friendly and more than willing to help me.

Dru is the absolute best O'Reilly employee I've ever had the pleasure of being helped by. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable and had the best customer service I've seen in a long time. My family and I go to O'Reilly's for all of our cars and this will be the only location we go to from now on because of Dru. He deserves a raise and a promotion! Thank you Dru for making a difficult day with my car so much better.

I had a dead battery 1 20 25 I called O Reillys and the girl said they had the battery . When we got there she had it waiting. The girl came out and put it in for me. I didnt have the long tools to tigjten it. She was so nice and helpful. I will go there for all my car needs. Thank You!!

I will never use O'Reilly auto parts ever again, I have been a loyal customer of O'Reilly auto parts for years and years, I had a misdiagnosed Ecm issue and was not told by the O'Reilly staff that the ecm would require flashing so I spent 294.50 on a new ecm, because I had already bought one from flagship auto and it didn't work then I had to return that one and my elderly grandfather had to use his card because I didn't have a credit card to make the online purchase for the item from flagship auto which was returned, and so because my grandparents used his card for the flagship auto ecm, which was refunded back to his card during Christmas time he used his card to pay for the one from O'Reilly auto parts because I had already given him the money for it, so in the effort to install the one from O'Reilly auto parts I found out it would require flashing which was an additional 430$ so I decided to try to fix a few other things o2 sensor camshaft sensor and other items all of which I purchased from O'Reillys, it turned out to be a crankshaft position sensor, so I was very happy about this because I could finally get some of the money back that I had been pouring into my vehicle, but O'Reillys said they will not refund my purchase to a gift card or give me the money back to any other card or type of refund, but to my 86 year old grandfather's who is now in Arizona for the rest of the winter, and has absolutely no way to give me my money back until June this is after I was unable to go to work for two weeks because of my vehicle not working so the money is of dire need to help me get by, but earlier on in the day they were more than willing to process the refund and give it back to me in cash but now they say that it's the only option they have to refund my money which is. Clearly not true. I am requesting to speak with the district manager or someone in the corporate office which I will be contacting as soon as possible if this issue is not resolved, I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service and compassion and empathy that a company I have been a loyal customer of for years and years is showing me, I will be going to Napa or Autozone from here on out if this issue is not remedied to my satisfaction.

Went in for some diesel treatment. The tag said 2 for $30. My total was $50. I showed the kid the tag and he said oh well. I told him to get a manager and he laughed. I went to Autozone and got it for 2 for $30. DJ lost O'Reilly my business.

Fantastic customer service! Very intelligent employees here. I have been looking for door panel retainer clips for about a year now. They didn't have them in stock but had them for me the next day! Also tried to find another interior door panel part that I need to replace. Couldn't find that one but those clips were enough to win me over. I'll probably shop here from now on. I was a devoted AutoZone customer for many years. Lately they have fallen short on customer service with me. So I will now be frequenting this location! Thank you for the great service O'Reilly's!

I'd give 10 stars if I could! All thanks to Sean there, he's the best auto parts tech I've ever dealt with hands down. Helped me in great detail with every single part I needed, was doing a suspension overhaul, and he had me covered from a to z with no part left behind! The rest of the staff is great too, but great store, blows autozone out of the freakin water!

I had the pleasure of visiting the O'Reilly Auto Parts store on 4000 S recently, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their level of service and expertise. I was in need of a replacement battery for my uncle's Jeepster, which had a custom battery that was no longer available. The staff at O'Reilly were incredibly helpful in determining which battery in stock would be the best replacement, and they took the time to explain the differences between the options available. Once we found the right battery, the staff were quick to install it and get us on our way. I was also very appreciative of the fact that they refunded the $22 core charge when we returned the old battery, which was a nice surprise. Not only were the staff at O'Reilly helpful and knowledgeable, but they were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made the whole process of getting a new battery a breeze, which was a relief given how stressful car troubles can be. Overall, I would highly recommend O'Reilly Auto Parts on 4000 S to anyone in need of reliable and helpful service. Their staff's expertise and willingness to go above and beyond to help customers is truly impressive, and it's clear that they take pride in their work. If you're in the area and need auto parts or service, I highly suggest giving them a visit.

I just want to give a kudos to Kamic & Shawn. My low tire pressure came on, and I was right next to O'Reilly's so I went in there and asked if they could check my tires for me. I didn't have a tire pressure checker on me & I didn't want to go waste money putting air pressure in my tires only for me to run out of air before I get to all of them so I wanted to find out what one it was. Well thank God I went there because Kamic was very helpful and checked every tire. The very last tire that he got to check and made me aware that the wires were poking out and that I needed to get it changed. So thanks to him I am on my way home I'm not going to be going out driving around tonight because I'm not about to risk my life so thank you kamic! Now I have to go pay to get a new tire possibly two new tires tomorrow because the other one was low in the back and it's kind of bald too so just wanted to say thanks and service was great! Annnd Shawn was a great help to me as well. I tried making another review, but I think because I've already made a review here I couldn't add another one. I went to the O'Reilly's in Ogden on Washington and 31st and the gentleman there was just not helpful at all. I called this O'Reilly's yesterday talk to Sean came in today and he tested my battery and my alternator and help me out with cleaning the corrosion on my battery and was willing to go above and beyond with my situation. That was far from what happened at the other location on Washington boulevard in ogden.

I stopped in to grab a steering wheel adapter kit for a project I am working on. They had one that would work for the time being, but I’ll need to order one online to match the steering column that I have (they could have ordered for me, but my timeline wouldn’t work). The associates there were great, and helpful.

Dismantled the entire front end of my car to replace a ball joint. Oreileys cheap aftermarket products cost me an entire day of labor. So I had to spend twice that amount to get the part that actually worked. Going back to disassemble front end once more to put on part that works. Be careful in what you buy here. I could have been done but I’m starting completely over. They didn’t even offer to discount the new part. 😠. What do you see in this photo? Yep no Allan head so there’s no way to hold the ball from spinning when you try to tighten. Lovely!

If I could give zero stars I would. I was a previous employee. While I worked there I had to buy a battery for my vehicle. The date stamp on the battery is 12/20, so barely over a year old because I bought it last year. Well, that battery failed on Christmas day and made it only until 12-27-21 before finally just testing bad. I went in to the same store I purchased it from. Found out that they ERASED MY WARRANTY FILE!!!!! My info as well as my purchase of the battery DOES NOT EXIST IN THEIR SYSTEM!!! The manager on duty did say it was common for them to do this to previous employees. Shame on you. I only wanted an exchange on a purchased product that failed while under warranty period.

I came in to get an axel for my truck, turns out the one my truck requires is different then what's standard for my model of truck, oreillys doesn't carry the one I need. After finding out Morgan went above and beyond. Calling other local parts stores she finally found it an hour and a half later. Proving to me it's not just about a paycheck, it's about helping others. I will be buy all my parts here, from here on out. Thanks again Morgan!

They are my go to local auto parts store… I mean I’m definitely eBay and Amazon shopper but when I need something quick this is where I come. For the most part the employees at the counter are pretty knowledgeable and if they don’t happen to know then they will usually ask another one. I especially like that I get my five dollar off coupons sent to my email quite often.

Simon was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I struggled for 20-30 minutes trying to fix my car after buying a part I needed and he came out to help me out. Took him only a few minutes and I was off to work with no problems.

These guys are amazing! My Tahoe broke down at the intersection just outside the store and Simon came to my rescue. In the mid afternoon summer heat, he helped me push the Tahoe through the intersection and diagnose my alternator issue. He was able to find out that my old alternator was under warranty and got me new one for free right away. He also supplied the tools so that I was able to replace it on the spot. Thanks Simon!!! You went above and beyond which seems rare now a days. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

Great work by the employee Randy who was able to get me the items that I needed and specially ordered the items which were not in stock. He was able to spend the time and look up a unique plug that I needed for my truck which worked great. Thank you for taking the time to work with me and get me the product that I needed for a great price!

They were great! I went to get my battery and alternator checked. It was a bad battery. I bought one and Adrian was the best and took time to install the battery and made sure everything was working correctly. There are other places I could have gone closer to my home, but this location is the best. The staff is always kind and ready to help me out.

Store is great and has always had everything i have ever needed but one worker there Jon in particular is very rude and arrogant. He acts always like there is a chip on his shoulder and that he knows everything and talks to customers and other employees in a very rude tone. He has no customer service skills what so ever. I highly recommend asking for Mario, he is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have or problems that I need help with.

They are helpful and nice, but always under staffed and slow as molass. I could have driven 8 miles to Walmart, checked out, driven back home, made a burrito, eat it, use the restroom, and relaxed in the time it took just to get someone to come to the register and check me out. If you're working at a leisurely pace and want someone to explain things, it world be great, but if you're working on a tight schedule go somewhere else.
