Very sorry customer service! Website says closes at 12 on Saturday. Called and said on the way, will be there about 11:50 they said no, we take our last load at 11:45, can't help you.
I'd still prefer that if they want to close at 4:45, they just say that's when they close. That said, the whole crew seems like good people, and they pay well for scrap. They can earn the final star by clarifying their hours.
Exclusively positive things to share about this first experience. I have used Georgetown metal recycling in the past, and have become increasingly disappointed with the experiences.
I had a big haul from my Automotive work to take over today: Tyler at WillCo Iron was very helpful by phone and in person.
One of their guys named Omar was extremely friendly and helpful at assisting me to unload the truck. 1100 pounds of metal, took me forever to load it up by myself.
Omar and I had it unloaded in about 10 minutes. They also got me top dollar for all of the metal. I weighed everything beforehand and verified market pricing.
This place is extremely fair and reasonable. I will absolutely be returning to them in the future.
Sidenote: their yard was way easier to navigate and get around than Georgetown recycling, and it did not have the powdery landfill dirt that gets everywhere on your vehicle like GT metal does. 🍻

My wife just called for prices and they said they dont give prices to just anybody. I dont understand what is so private about prices. I work all around Texas and go to different scrap metal places we have never been treated this way. Ill take my business elsewhere thank you.
Wilco Iron and Metal Recycling has great prices for scrap and extremely friendly service. Don't forget to check out their yard sale shop while you are there.
Accused me of bringing stolen property. But continues to take things from me. Had I realized this sooner wouldn't have gone there. I think I'll let my attorney do a follow up review
