I've taken my Lexus to Pratt for over 7 years and I'm always impressed with their excellent service and personal communication. They make me feel well taken care of. I highly recommend them.

I needed a major air conditioning job done on my 2009 Prius. Pratt was very clear about what needed to be done and communicated very well. I even got a loaner car! I had a great experience and highly recommend this repair shop. Just be sure to pay with cash or check to avoid fees!

Never had any work done there, but my truck ran out of fuel in front of their place today. While we were trying to prime the motor and add fuel to the tanks, one of the man guys, (manager or owner) came out and offered us what he has available for the tanks as well. It was a great gesture and very appreciated, and when I need work done in the future, I'll definitely consider them.

Honest, dependable, reasonably priced. I took a used 2004 Toyota tundra to them after the purchase and they went through it with a fine tooth comb. I should have done it pre purchase really but it didn’t work out that way. Anyways, they gave me a list of everything that was not 100% as well as saying what needed to be fixed soon or if it was something just to keep an eye on and we can fix it later on if need be. I trust that they are not trying to upsell or do a bunch of expensive servicing just to make more money. Fair warning bring cash or check I believe… or be prepared to pay a fee for using credit card. At this point in the economy, I don’t blame them for passing on that fee if you want to use a CC.

First time customer. They did an inspection on a used Lexus that we bought from CarMax that is within the 30-day return window, and they did an excellent job, noting a couple of issues that I am addressing with CarMax. If we keep the Lexus we will definitely be coming back for routine maintenance.

Excellent service! They fixed our Lexus correctly the first time and for a much lower price than the stealership! Update: They are now charging the customer swipe fees for using a credit card. I will continue to use their services, however this is a disappointing change they are implementing.

After George Bean took over, there was the question, would the service still have the same integrity? AND the answer is a resounding YES! George and staff make a good back door team to diagnose and repair any Toyota product. Vicki just makes the communication with the clients as smooth with price quotes and explanation of repairs. Our family has bought over a half dozen Toyotas from a local dealer over the years, only to get them serviced at Pratt regularly. As mentioned in other posts, they will give you a true evaluation of the car, letting you know what NEEDS to be done versus what can wait. Their pricing is usually 20% less than the dealerships. They may be backed up for routine repairs, but in a pinch can sometimes work in an emergency. The nice thing is they dont take your car in promising it on a given day and hold it hostage for another two days. If they tell you it will be ready by 5PM, usually it will be ready no later than 6PM! If you have a Toyota or Lexus and need repairs, call Pratt Automotive!

A terrible experience at Sewell Lexus (they lied and said my vehicle had an oil leak requiring a pricey repair- thank goodness I said I would handle it another time!) led me to try a dealership-alternative and I’m so glad they did. I found Pratt by driving by. After reading their reviews, I decided to give them a try. Wonderful experience. Very reasonably priced, professional and friendly. While driving to after school pickup, the skip plate came loose under my car and started dragging on the cement, so I called my son who is a mechanic in another town, he told me to stop in at Pratt’s since it was only a few minutes away and see if they can take it off or Re attach it. Without an appointment, I stopped in and these guys were super helpful, very friendly, and I got really good vibes from this business. They had me back on the road in minutes! There were other happy customers in the lobby dropping off and picking up their autos as well, so I highly recommend this top notch business!!! There was one sweet super helpful lady zooming around that was keeping the ball rolling!

Friendly staff, private owned...so you know you're not getting screwed unlike dealerships. If you don't need it, they won't pressure you to get it. The second you drop your car off at a dealership they begin suggesting all kinds of services, a way to empty your pockets. Service itself is great, never had issues with vehicle after pickup. I have been going to Pratt for years. They are honest and will shoot you straight. Recently I took my 2010 Prius in for a small random problem with the car. They looked at it for a week and could not get the problem to repeat. They did not charge me even though they spent time on the car. I took my Tundra in for breaks expecting rotor replacement because I drove it a long time with low pads. They quoted me a price with and without rotators. They were able to turn the rotors and save me a lot of money. They are always happy to look over vehicle when I am buying as well to give me peace of mind on my purchase or help me steer clear of a bad buy. Go here if you want dealership expertise without the dealership runaround. My whole family uses Pratt.

Good work. Fair pricing. Good folks. Just had our Highlander in for service. Their quote was exactly what it cost. No up selling. My daughter brings her Toyota here and these gentlemen always take good care. They explain what needs to be done and why.

I've never had a better experience at an Auto Repair Facility. These people are super reliable, and honest above all. They could have easily fixed things that weren't broken and I would never have known. They were honest with me and told me what could wait awhile and what I really needed to fix now. Prices are very reasonable and they are super courteous. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I am so happy I found them.

Excellent customer service! Vicki does a great job juggling different tasks at the front desk and always has a smile on her face. I needed to get an inspection done on my Avalon and George personally drove the car over to get it done. He also installed new windshield wipers for me. This is the best place in town to go for service on your Toyota or Lexus.

I can't say enough good things about George Bean, Service Mgr., Vicki Mendez, Service Advisor & Administrator, and John one of the highly trained and skilled mechanics! My Toyota van needed numerous conditions addressed, and each one was expertly and efficiently diagnosed and resolved. I can now drive again with the assurance that my van is safe, and has been restored to like new condition. I was referred to Pratt by a friend, and I very highly recommend them to any one wanting to have your Lexus and/or Toyota repaired or just serviced by this knowledgeable and genuinely caring staff, and at a very reasonable cost.

I've used Pratt Automotive for more than 10 years. I've always been very pleased with their great communication and fair pricing. But they set a new standard today! I was a customer at Pratt for a few years prior to the new ownership and have since had my vehicle serviced more than once. They are timely, consistent with their communication and the prices have literally remained the same (if not a few dollars less for an oil change!) Also, and most important, the manager and the front desk staff bend over backwards to help in an emergency. Without a second thought, they checked out my vehicle late on a Friday afternoon after it had been towed to the shop, fixed it within a few minutes and sent me back out to a car that has been starting smoothly ever since. They were so proactive, expertly knowledgeable and yet still so kind to me in a stressful situation. I have experienced a seamless transition to the new ownership and will remain a Pratt Automotive customer as long as this service continues. 5 stars, without a doubt!

These guys are great! They make sure to take care of you and stand bu their work. They will absolutely accomodate you for an emergency occurs. I cannot say enough great things about, Pratt Automotive. Bring your Lexus or Toyota to them and you will get great and honest work. Pratt absolutely rocks!! Family owned service shop. They win customers firstly because they are honest. They won me over when a "big name" lube shop recommended a high dollar repair but when I took my car by Pratt for a second opinion they told me that the repair was not necessary. They were right. And when they do work on my cars, they do great work! I am a long term customer and will go with Pratt who is building long term customers rather than meeting a monthly service quota.

Pratt Automotive has serviced my Lexus RX 300 a few times and their customer service is the best I've ever had for auto repair. They are very knowledgable and take time to explain everything - particularly helpful to a female who doesn't know much about car repair. :) I recommend them to everyone I know - great service and very reasonable prices - they gave me the best price on getting my timing belt replaced and offered me the same length or longer warranty as anyone else. Give these guys your business - you won't regret it!

I have known the Pratt brothers, Jerry and Jim since 1991. They used to work for a local Lexus dealer. I was thrilled when they went into business for themselves, because I knew that Jerry, who I requested of Gary Fuller (Service Mgr. at the time) to work on my car, was very knowledgeable, open, honest, and treated my car as if it was his own. We both didn't like "Corporate BS", and knew that even Lexus customers wanted to save money, while the best of maintenance/repair was being done on their cars. So, while I now live in SC, every time I go back to TX, I make a point of having my Lexus LS 430 looked over by the Pratt brothers, and now another good Lexus mechanic, Jake. If any work needs to be done, I have it done by them, even though they directed me to another great independent Toyota/Lexus service and repair shop in Mt. Pleasant, SC, McIntosh Imports. You'll save money with lower parts and labor costs, and not go wrong in any way, if you give Pratt Automotive a chance. NO BULL!
