$145 for 2 quarts of transmission fluid because apparently checking the fluids isn't standard procedure here. If they would have checked the fluids when got there, LIKE I ASKED this would have been simple.

On a trip, I had a bad break caliper, and I went to them to see what was wrong. While he didn't get the issue 100% right, he pointed me to another local company that helped me out with my tires. Notably, they helped me out for free, nice guys!

Only place in town I could find that was willing to change transmission fluid. Quick work, reasonable price and provided photos of everything he was looking at!

Been using this mechanic for some time now. And yes they are helpful when needing rides. My last visit has me very upset. My car needed per his estimate 2 coil packs all new spark plugs. We agreed to fix it and prepared for the bill $875. When picking up my car it was less and his wife said he didn't need to replace the coil packs. I didn't know any difference. I am not a mechanic. After only driving 80 miles my car did the same thing. Now I'm told my car needs 4 spark plugs and 2 coil packs. How am I responsible for paying for additional work that should have been done to begin with. The owner wants to lie and say I refused to replace the coil packs. I was prepared to have all the work done!!! Put my car back in, get it back and once again my car is running like shit after 60 miles and the check engine like is back on saying misfire!!! I refuse to take my car back to him. I can understand a mistake but not a lie!!! My car is not being repaired properly. Beware!!! Use this company at your own risk!!! I have sent text letting them know of the issue and I am.beinh ignored!!! Do yourself a favor and find another mechanic. No u keep saying I refused the coil packs , that's a total lie I have the text telling u yes to fix it, I had to bring it back a 2nd time and u said no charge save it for the next mechanic. You still didn't fix it cause I made 1 trip to town 18 miles and the check engine light on again with misfires. I know my car is old and only has 146,000 miles on it. Ipaid u to fix it so i can drive it,i even got a loan from snap to pay u to fix it right then, not half ass. If I'm supposed to of told u not to fix coil packs then u as a mechanic would of known just replacing the spark plugs wasn't going to fix the problem I brought it to u to fix. So basically u just ripped me off. I thought you were honest but I was wrong, you haven't never gotten my husband's truck running right either. People beware he'll tell ya on review about people's vehicles being so old, that doesn't matter I paid u to fix it. You commented that when I brought it back to u the 2nd time u say u replaced the 2 coil packs, that I refused the 1st time and 4 more spark plugs but my car still has the same issue, misfires. What did I pay almost $900 for?? U say in in ur comment that u replaced 2 more coil packs? When have u put any other ones on. Those r the 2 u were suppose to put on the 1st time I brought it to ya that was in ur qoute I told u to fix it. I have the texts. Oh and If you need a carburetor set, or timing set then forget it. And if I haven't been maintaining my vehicle, then why have i been bringing it to u for the last 2 yrs . u have replaced my fuel injectors, fan, front end , oil change, spark plugs , ect...if u replaced the 2 coil packs the 2nd time I brought it to u, then why is my car still misfire. Paid u for nothing

I had oil leaks everywhere. This shop took me in and was very honest about everything. Communication was constant and thorough. Work was completed in a timely manner and explained to me during pick up. Will be bringing my trucks here for now on for jobs that I can not handle myself.

While traveling out of town my husband noticed his track bar was coming loose on his truck, we called about 5 other companies and they wouldn’t help at all but he found Wrench Works and Jackie was super nice and fixed the problem quickly.

A man of his word !! My family and I were on vacation in Tennessee and had a minor issue with a clamp that had blown off of some work that Jack's guys did a week before. I called jack on the side of the road while I got out tools to fix it. Took all of maybe 15 min. Anyways, i called jack at that time and he offered me some compensation for my time and aggravation dealing with this very minor problem. When we got back from vacation , that's exactly what he did. He kept his word !!

What an amazing and friendly group of people! Helped me out of a bind with the alternator on my Tacoma. I'm from out of town and they jumped right on it, saved me a huge headache. Thanks again!

We broke down real close to the shop. Jack and Cheryl took us in like their own. They got us in quick and helped us get back on the road. Amazing service and such wonderful people.

I would most definitely recommend Wrench Works. They went of their went out of their way to assist me when my car broke down. They sent a tow truck to pick up my car and bring it to their shop. They had the quote ready the same day. I approved it and was car was ready the next day. They also took me from their shop to my house. I think they are honest, very professional and super experienced.

1988 Suburban - Heavy vibration after suspension service at a local tire / alignment shop. They couldn't figure it out. Not a diesel mechanic, Jack is very dishonest but a smooth talker of which will cost you extra $$$$$$$. If he works on something of yours he will find something else wrong and get in your pocket again. I started with a $1200 quote and then it went to $2,423.00 then wanted another $900 to fix what he failed to do in the $2,423 bill. Stay away from this business. He said he marks up the parts by 45% so he can give you a warranty so therefore your paying for the warranty.

He came to my home and install a battery and I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't. Wonderful service and great worker highly recommend him for any of your needs I plan on using him again soon. Thank you! Thank you! so very much. It's hard to find people that you trust and I definitely trust him. I'm a senior and it is so wonderful to have someone that doesn't take Advantage of a person. He will always be my person I go to. 11-16-2023 This is the second time I've had to use him I want use anyone else. Well once again my vehicle broke down and if it wasn't for Jack I don't know what I would do he came and fixed my vehicle quickly and very nicely he will always be the person that I can recommend and use. This time it was an alternator he worked late to make sure I had my vehicle running. He noticed the rattles that I didn't even know I had and told me what it was and I could fix it at a later date I really appreciate this person he is wonderful to deal with. He's a very honest person and I really trust him and that's hard to say these days Being a senior there are people out there who do take advantage of you but not Jack so thank you So much.

I dropped my 2016 Ford Edge off to get diagnosed. They diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within 24 hours. I work in Katy so the lady there went and picked my kid up from work on her break and brought her back to the shop to pay and pick up car. Highly recommend Wrench Works and any issues with a vehicle in the future, I know where I'll be going! Thank you guys very much

My sister brought her vehicle to them, we drove it it, it had codes for timing and a misfire. He called and said he tried fixing the timing and now we need a new engine, but he's not gonna charge us for the timing job he did, it took 2 months to get our car back and it still had a misfire. It made it to Starbucks from his parking lot and the alternator he put on the engine (unnecessarily since we had just replaced that not even 1 week before it went to the shop) died and stranded us at starbucks, we fixed it so not to have to deal with them again. Then (fast forward 1 month) while she was taking her daughter to karate on her way home it just completely died. Upon inspection we found the wiring harness plugged into the pcm that wraps around the back of the engine to the transmission wasn't fasted to the fire wall like its supposed to be he left it sitting on the exhaust manifold and its melted almost in half. He then had attitude and charged us to the tow. Diagnosed it as a started problem instead. So we fixed the starter (actually right there) and called him back out, he then jumped the starter off and sent us on our way refusing to actually fix the problem. Our vehicle is now at RODS and Wrenches and not only was (now fixed) the problem in the wiring harnesses he failed to secure and he didn't bolt down coil packs and there are sensors left unplugged. He rushed this job and did not give any care. Also the woman Sheryl at the counter is his Wife so no matter how much misinformation she gives or how much unnecessary rudeness she treats customers with is just going to be swept under the table. PS. The bumper is in no way even able to damage or move the working harness in question and it speaks loads to his knowledge that he would even say that a missing bumper caused the wiring damage. It also has nothing to do with all the things he neglected to connect to its rightful place.

Amazing staff, super knowledgeable, and friendly. I broke down and 1000 miles away from home and they were willing to help me on any way possible. They fed me and offered to give me a ride to wherever I needed to go. Highly recommend!!

Was traveling by and started having car problems. Pulled into the driveway because I seen 2 gentlemen outside driving a vehicle into the garage. One gentleman came up to me and asked if he could help me with anything. I explained to him I was traveling and my car starting acting weird. Without any hesitation he started helping me out. He did mention somewhere in the conversation that they was closed that day but he still continued to help. He could have just turned me around. I just want everyone to know how big his heart is. He could have just left it at he was closed. I was 2 hours away from home and 1 hour to my destination. That day was my first time ever breaking down on a trip. He made it look so easy and also kept me calm. Thanks to him and his generosity I made it back home safe. Great guy. Makes me want to drive the 2 hours just to get him to work on my car.

We were traveling through when we started having engine issues. Jack was able to get us right in. He was able to figure out the problem right away. Both staff members were incredibly helpful. We were there for a couple of hours and the lady even took my wife and two young boys around back to throw sticks in the creek. They got us fixed up and sent on our way! I highly recommend this business.

I got my brakes and air conditioning done almost a month back, well I came back from the store the other day, pulled into the driveway, my tire fell off because someone forgot to tighten the lugnuts.

Excellent service, friendly folks, knowledgeable. In an hr Jack had my ac checked for leaks, replaced a part and charged the system. Not a bad price either! Will definitely go back for other work!

I called and got to bring my car in right away. He quoted me and was able to have it done and ready within an hour or so. Very friendly professional services. Will be taking other vehicles to him.

Jack recently worked on 3 of my vehicles and I have known him for years. You will get HONEST information and no scam from this young man. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs work on their vehicles. He even repaired an older Nissan pickup for me that no one else has been able to diagnose the issue after I spent thousands of dollars on rebuilding and replacing almost everything including the motor! Call him because he will give you fair prices and great work !

Found this listing on google. Called Jack up and he was so pleasant to speak with, ready to help get the car to his shop. He drove over to our house to look at the car, jumped it, and followed behind my husband to make sure it made it to his shop. Called us back the same day to give us an assessment. The initial problem was the battery, but we also had him quote the ac compressor. Prices were very reasonable and fair. We will definitely bring our vehicles back if we have anymore issues.

Jack is awesome. He is very honest and very reasonable on his price. He also has financing available. That really helped me out. I will use him as my mechanic from now on.
