They do not know the difference between painted and anodized storefront. Just left there because they wanted to give me mixed price for my aluminum. I have clear and bronze non thermal storefront. Someone needs to educate them on the difference. They sure would not listen to me. I have been selling storefront for 40 years.
How about updating your Google page to reflect you aren’t open the first Saturday of the month so people don’t waste their time only to get to your gate and see you aren’t open.
Half the price of my usual metal recycling place. Less then half, was what I got jipped out of last time. Unbelievable... I don't see how a business gets away with so much greed, with pride behind it, and then be able to prosper?? Never be back!
Awful place and rude employees. Probably the worst experience at a recycling place. Their prices for steel or aluminum is shameful. The only reason they get away with it is because they're the only game in town. I stood in the lobby for 15 mins before I ever was helped. Some creature working in the back saw me there and refused to acknowledge I was a human being for 10 mins until she emerged from the back and said "need anything???" What am I supposed to do with a question like that when I've been staring at the counter for 10 minutes? I'm not a homeless person, I'm a regular dude dressed in regular clothes with a brand new diesel truck outside. It's not like I'm some homeless person trying to loiter. I say "well I have cans and need to look at some steel." This rude lady says "he'll be out in a little" and walks away. Another 5 mins go by and I'm finally allowed to be served. I get paid nearly nothing for 4 commercial bags of cans and when I come back in with 2 small pipes I found in the dirt, about as big around as a broomstick and 1 foot long, I asked if I could buy them. If someone were to sell these for steel they might get $0.25. They told me it would be $19 to buy these two small pieces of pipe. My jaw fell on the floor. I thought they might say $2-3 bucks. You want to know how insane it was? I went to Lowe's just to see what it would be to buy the exact same pipe new (which is not a place you want to buy steel) And it was $9. Weatherford Recycling and Supply wanted $19. This place is absolute extortion, the employees are rude, the customer service is absolutely terrible, and it's an overall completely awful experience coming here. I will rejoice if they ever go out of business.
Pleasure doing business with y’all this morning! For those looking at reviews, ignore the negative comments, follow directions, ask questions and be polite and It’ll get you along way in this world! Super nice folks who made my very first trip here a good one! Will be back as I have a lot more cleanup to do!
This Is the worst scrap yard in Texas. Literally zero customer service and terrible prices. Do yourself a favor and take your scrap somewhere else. They don’t care about your business anyhow
4 ✨. They don't separate fairly all the time. Aluminum breakage is not the same as clean Aluminum. Other than that I go only here. They are efficient and professional! Andrew is always helpful! Thank yall!
Extremely rude employees. I am hard of hearing from chemotherapy and explained to the guy I had trouble understanding his directions with all the background noise. Misunderstood his terrible instructions and didn't unload in the right place. Came up screaming at me like I was stupid. Ive only been there 3 times and dont know where things go. I again explained I cant hear, didnt stop him from berating me.

Horrible. Been scraping for 15 years and since lady took over inside its gone down hill. Went in with a complete car motor. And a lawnmower motor. They offered me tin. $16. Guy on the crane knew it wasn't tin and separated it. Crooks. Never again. Lost a weekly customer
Once again we showed up to the scrap yard and once again they had closed early before the posted closing time. Really why even post times of buisness if your not going to go by those times or even dates. We've checked on line for closures to be sure and driven there only for it to be closed. With these gas prices it's like getting robbed to drive a loaded truck into town when your advertiseing your open when your not. In this economy how can a business afford to take extra long lunches and close early or be closed so often,turning away buisness that's sitting waiting to be taken in. I guess when your the only scrap yard in town, you feel like you can afford to treat your customers however poorly you choose to. And I'm not even gonna start with the ever so friendly and helpful service received from the women at the front desk" bless her heart" that's what my grandma taught me to say when some lost soul needed praying for. Would not recommend if it's buisness you can't put off til tommorrow.
This place is a thieving worthless company. I took in 62 lbs of bare bright 6 guage stranded wire. Perfectly stripped and all still brand new remnants. Anywhere from 10ft to 20 ft. They said it was #2 they dumped it in there bin before i agreed with there #2 grading choice. Then wouldnt let me gather the exact pieces and take it somewhere else. All the while the criminal and con probably the owners wife Theresa i believe continued to argue with me. Horrible business take your scrap down the road unless you like being robbed.
I arrived to sell a load of scrap at 11:36 on July 6th to find a closed entrance with a sign on the gate indicating they close for lunch at 11:45 to 12:30. I walked in and questioned why they were closed early. Their clock read 11:41 after I pulled around to their other gate. Basically, I was advised its their prerogative to close for lunch early to allow the employees to finish. Come back after lunch.
I returned on the 7th, and was told they would not accept the vehicle, must be cut into thirds, yet, there were visible vehicles in their yard cut in half as were mine.
Two round trips from Lipan, my expenses, fuel, etc., practically cost me more than the $90 a ton they pay.
I will NEVER go back and do not recommend others use this company!
Never had a problem until today. Took a load in.My ID was out by 1 day.Refuse to pay me. Refuse to re load me. Came back with some one else.Then they payed .But short me 200. So dont want to pay u or pay what owe
Very rude individuals. If I could I'd take my stuff back to the place I used to use before I moved to mineral wells. These people here are very rude and I seriously wonder if they even give you a fair price. Does no good to be nice to these people who work here they are all nasty back.
The guy was really helpful I don't know how to back in a trailer and got stuck one of them came to help me out but the lady was really rude to me and said I was holding up her business. I just started scraping to make ends meet and I have a mental challenge son that was doing his best to help me she didn't have to be so rude and hateful towards him. So I gave them 4 stars could have been 5 if she wasn't rude.
Great place, everyone there is very helpful and nice!! We were out of town and needed to haul scrap there and they really helped us out in a time of need!! I highly recommend them!
Just left these con artists. Low balled because the metal was "dirty". I signed and he paid me. Before I walked out, he said wait because he paid me too much. Then wanted the money back and gave me less because the metal was dirty. I would've just kept walking out if I knew he was going to con me.
Some are employees are nice, but none have been mean to us. Go when you are not in a hurry because it can take some time they will take their time on pretty much everything.
