AAA dispatched this company out to pick up my car with a flat tire and deliver it to discount tire in weatherford. In the process their employee not only delivered it originally to the wrong place (pep boys) but wrecked my car. I filed a complaint with AAA and my insurance and had to come out of pocket my deductible while waiting for them to deal with Cochran. Come to find out they are underinsured and refuse to pay for the deductible (significantly less than the cost of damages submitted to my Insurance).
My insurance company is now having to take them to court which could take over a year to recover my deductible.

In response to your response, I never hit a dog. A dog scratched my car attempting to catch a cat that had gone under the hood while parked in my driveway. It was scratched.. going in for a paint job. Please have your story and facts straight. Per the letter from Farmer’s Insurnace you are ignoring your drivers fault. I do not need an attorney as Farmer’s is the one suing you and not me personally.
This company, when used by a police department, for someone who has been arrested, takes advantage of the circumstances and intentionally price gouges the customer. When called about the cost of the tow and impound, we were given a specific price. Two hours later, upon arrival to retrieve the vehicle, the price had gone up by $350. When the issue was raised, the front desk attendant called her boss and had a $100 additional fee removed, they claimed was the price for a certified letter, but still gave no valid explanation for the remaining additional costs or why it had increased from two hours earlier. (The certified letter cost them $10.) A picture of the price sheet was taken to review later. The vehicle was picked up at the inflated rate because there was no choice. They threatened if he continued to have a problem with the unexplained spike, they would make him leave until the next day and charge an additional $75 for each day until picked up at that price. Later looking closer at the invoice, we found that we were charged $29.50 per mile instead of $5 per mile per their price sheet. They admitted the error over the phone with surprise, yet when the price was corrected it took the total back to what we had been given first that morning. So someone had to have intentionally increased the price from $5 to $29.50 per mile since they had initially given us the price for the correct $5 per mile over the phone. (Not to mention, later receiving the certified letter with the original invoice, the initial charge included the cost of the certified letter.) In other words, someone intentionally gouged the price by increasing the price per mile by $25 before we picked it up because they probably were not aware we had already been given the price. I wonder how many times this has happened to other people who felt too defeated by the situation to look deeper into the details. I’ve filed a report with Weatherford PD and hoping they will dig into it, and find out how many other people Cochran owes a refund.
Update 1-7-24 - It doesn’t allow me to respond to Cochran’s response to this review, so I will update here. The certified letter was received several days later and the price was broken down sensibly and explained the same thing we were explained that morning on the phone. The price in the certified letter was the same that we got the price down to that day after lots of pushback from. So, unfortunately that explanation about department pricing doesn’t add up. We were charged the department pricing after we got the price back down. Not to mention the police department didn’t seem to be aware of a 3 day minimum storage fee. In other words, though it was nowhere on your paperwork or pricing, but you wouldn’t allow us to pick it up the next day and only pay a one day storage fee. We had to pay a minimum of 3 days. You clearly tried to gouge us with the price that day by raising it by $300 after the call with us and after the certified letter was sent. The intimidation tactic of calling the Parker county sheriff deputy to oversee the refund as if he had acted out of line in any way makes me wonder how many other people you take advantage of in that situation thinking they will be defeated by the legal reasons their car was towed. We will be getting to the bottom of it to make sure there are no other victims to the same unexplained errors, who may not have known or stood up to you. (Right before Christmas no less.)
2-9-25 Update: Weatherford PD contacted me with an update. It appears that just before Cochran Towing was supposed to meet with the department over this complaint and other issues the department needed to address, they pulled their company from the police department rotation. I’d say that speaks for itself. Very disappointing.
I have a 2024 Silverado that Mustafa picked up and delivered to Jerry’s Chevrolet. The truck would not go into Neutral due to electronic shift. Mustafa quickly found a solution and used skid wedges to get it loaded on the flatbed. He methodically strapped the truck in place and off we went to Jerrys’s. Knowing getting it off the flatbed would be a problem, again Mustafa came up with a great solution to pull it off the flatbed, he rigged a snatch block and attached it to the back of the flatbed and ran the winch cable through it and up to the front of the frame. It come off very easily and once the rear wheels were on the ground he then retracted the flatbed ramp and lowered the truck down. He was super friendly and is truly an asset to your company. While at the dealership my Service Advisor also commented that he had seen Mustafa delivering vehicles before and said what a meticulous driver he was.

Jeremy helped me out twice in one day for two flat situations. I got a very good learning experience and he was very quick. While I hope I have no more flats for a long I now know of ways to avoid and handle a similar situation thanks to him!
Jimmy was a god send. My car broke down hours from home and he got me safely where I needed to be. The drive was nice and pleasant. I would defiantly recommend him and the towing company!!!
Their service tech was great. The only issue was that they sent him out for a battery issue, and instead of sending him with the right kind of battery to replace my battery, they sent him out in a small SUV and he didn’t have the right option. Also, what if my car needed a towing? I had to wait an hour and a half for arrival, how much longer would I have had to wait if I needed a tow?
I then had to drive 40 minutes to their headquarters to get the battery.
Their tech was great, but there were a lot of what ifs that would have made this experience go south in a hurry.
Perhaps this was due to being a AAA call, and maybe they put paying customers in a better situation.
My front end went out on my Honda today and Mustafa arrived to save the day. He did an amazing job communicating with me to find me on my town's little country roads and found me quickly. He displayed fantastic customer service skills and he was obviously very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He treated me and my vehicle with the upmost respect and as a woman that means a lot now a days. I was comfortable ridings with him in his truck with him because of his respctful demeanor. My van and I made it home safe and sound. I would highly recommend Mustafa and his towing company Cochran Towing!
They were there with in the hour and very professional. It is always stressful when you have to have your truck towed and Thomas put me at ease and promptly delivered my Truck to my mechanic.
Driver showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He took care when loading my vehicle, answered all of my questions, and provided feedback once my car was delivered to the repair shop. I would highly recommend this company.
We were originally quoted an hour to an hour and a half response time but driver arrived in 40 minutes. He called promptly to let us know he was on the way and was very professional.
Driver got here so quick to change my flat. Usually AAA will take forever to dispatch someone.
Once driver arrived, he changed my tire within minutes, even looked for my jack in the truck for me so he could get the spare. Put my bad tire in the back of the truck and off he went. Highly recommend this towing company. If I need assistance again, I will definitely request them through AAA.
Called AAA for help, got a call very quickly to confirm and get the details, and the driver arrived in just under an hour after my original call. Now that is service. If you need towing, better call Cochran because they are the best.
My car battery went out and Subaru Roadside Assistance sent Cochran Towing to the rescue! He did a great job loading the car up even though my steering wheel was locked and my wheels weren’t straight. Excellent service!
Not what I had on my bingo card today but at least the tow company had great service. The driver was prompt, early actually, and friendly. He's just starting this business so I had to give him some props.
Thomas came to pickup my dually and he was beyond kind. He was very respectful twards me and my pickup. He was on time and frankly I feel like he went above and beyond for us. I’ve had my pickup towed a lot from all around Texas and this is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a driver/ company.

Especially to the employee Caleb Gibbs for his prompt response and dedication and passion for what he does. So if your in need of road side assistance I would I definitely 10 out of 10 Recommend!

My insurance company sent over a towing company due to my car breaking down and Mason handled it all with care and made sure to give some light in a dark moment. My truck died on the way to work at 8am. I requested the tow for after work at 7pm. I got a text he was on his way at 5:30pm and I called the dispatcher to verify they were very early. I was a little distraught because the communication could have been better. However, the driver Mason was the nicest and most professional employee a customer could ever wish for. Extremely careful with the vehicle and I could tell he was all about safety. Highly recommend this company!
I was broken down on the side of the road and AAA sent Cochran Towing to tow my vehicle. I can't say enough good things about them. They were amazing. My tow truck driver (Caleb) was extremely professional and courteous. Not only did he tow my vehicle, but he also helped quickly diagnose my issue. He deserves a raise for sure!
I called AAA to send out help with my flat tire. Shortly after hanging up with AAA, I received a call from Cochran Towing, a man named Wayne said he was on his way and gave an ETA. Wayne arrived as promised and quickly put my spare on and gave me great information about spare tires. It was a quick and easy transaction and Wayne was very courteous and good at his job. I am very happy with the service I received from Wayne with Cochran Towing and I highly recommend them for your emergency towing needs.
DON IS THE MAN! He is a Tow Truck Savant. I've worked with other local services...yall know who I'm talking about, and it been a nightmare....waiting 4-5-6 hours for them to come out. I went to AAA Cochran and Don were out here in less than 30 minutes. I WISH I could have filmed him doing his thing. Give that man a raise. Thank you Don! You went far above and beyond.
Only thing that bothered me was the quote for the storing fee, uncovered for less than 12 hours. Kinda crazy...border line absurd. But Don got it sorted.

Donald is an awesome dude. Genuinely made a very difficult situation much easier. This is the second time I've used Cochran towing and I have to say their drivers are absolutely phenomenal they have the utmost respect and I always anticipate their phone calls where they call and give accurate estimations and honesty because they're dispatch is the only black mark on this fantastic business.
Cochran towing was contracted through Hagerty to tow my 2012 Corvette with a flat tire. They showed up within the timeframe expected and professionally loaded my vehicle took me to my residence, and unloaded it. Experience was professional and timely.
It went pretty well. Jorge ran a bit late so I was waiting longer than the initially projected 30 minutes. But he did call to tell me and when he got there he got right to work. He was quick and thorough and even secured the back wheels though my vehicle is incredibly light weight, so I appreciated the extra security. Not sure if it’s pricey or not but overall about $168 to tow close to 12-16 miles, not counting the drive there. And he unloaded at the repair shop quickly.
My starter failed and I needed a reliable company to tow my car to the shop. Hagerty referred me to Cochran and David did an amazing job caring for the car and provided an amazing service.
Tow truck driver was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Tow truck looked well maintained and in good working condition. Both of these things, alone gave me confidence that my daughter’s car would be well taken care of. From the time he arrived until he left couldn’t have been more than 20 minutes. Overall, it was an excellent experience!
USAA used them for my roadside assistance. It took
Over 10 hours to tow my vehicle home. My car sat on the side of the hwy with my keys. My husband spoke to multiple people to give them our address and all the information as no one was communicating. So many excuses and no apology. Every time we called for an update there was an excuse or reason why it was pushed back. We scheduled roadside around 9 pm. My car got delivered around 845 the next morning.
Edited to add: The owner did call and apologize for the miscommunication.
Had a blow out late Friday night. After another tow guy canceled on me, these guys (Randy) came out in a hurry. He had great service and was very friendly. The whole experience was better than any other tow I've ever had.
I had my car towed from one shop to another and the driver was friendly, fast, and informed me every step of the way. I was extremely busy at work when I needed this done and the receptionist assured me it would be taken care of so didn’t have to leave the office. Great company to do business with!!!!
