Folks there are really nice. However, there is no parking(you are often blocking traffic on one side and making sure you are not parked on train tracks on the other side)--- the place may "thrive on chaos". Brought in a large assorted load and noticed after leaving I was shorted for 2 large crushed bags and 2 uncrushed large bags of aluminum cans. I had thought it was a bit short, but I was ready to leave due to really "no where safe to park". Got .90 cents a pound for 342 feet of 4-pair number 6 stranded well wire......on the plus side, they will take just about anything.
Nice folks, friendly, but, we sold some short iron, about 100 pounds and only got $38. We should have gone to Richland or bardeell. They have the best prices nearest to us. Never again. This isn't the first time this has happened either. But, it's the last.
First time ever selling scrap metal and I was very very disappointed, I had over 2 1/2 thousand lbs of pipes, 4 axel a solid metal table and other metal plates and only got $168 that's less then I would have got for one axel will never go back. People were nice,but can't live off nice.
The owner manager of this establishment is a very kind-hearted understanding man with great loyalty to customer service very friendly outgoing and spoken I recommend if you are trying to recycle all different types of metals and things to go and visit and get the best bang for your buck
Extraordinary people, all of whom were vary helpful. If your needing something specific or looking to get rid of old junk, I highly recommend this place.
