This is the calmest greatest scrap yard. All the guys have an amazing attitude!!!! Well worth the drive to get there. If youre looking for a place to scrap this should be the one.
I was being weight my husband ex truck driver knows alot about being weight on a scale on June 6 2025 the scale said 6100 lbs. When I got my ticket inside for my weight the young girl rip me off 120 lbs on my weight ticket that's cruel just thought to let people know stand outside of your vehicle and take a picture of the weight because she will rip you off on your weight when bringing in metal scrape my truck was heavy I put the stuff in it to be rip off how disappointing it seems no one is honest when you rely on the scrap yard for your income, I'll be going elsewhere for now on. After my review on the scale take a picture with your camera so you can prove to them what your weight going in because they found my ticket and what I read was different

..I was able to find many useful items for my application.. The prices are reasonable and the people were nice and helpful ..definitely Will be going back.
Not once have I been disappointed when it comes to this place, their prices are the best in town, everything is fast and easy and they really make you feel like family. I definitely recommend bringing your business here, you'll always be satisfied!
I think that the new caney recycling is the best recycle place anywhere . Isaac and his mom are totally awesome people and never tries to screw people outta their money like so.e recycle places do.yall are the best !!!!!
I believe they took advantage of me . I come in with a 5 bucket gallon of copper weight estimated around 40-50 lbs, as soon as I place the copper on the scale the guy working the scale moves my copper pipes into a bin before we can get the whole total of the copper which was wires and pipe, I get my ticket so fast and cash out go onto my truck and had me thinking
The pay window is blacked out so you can't see who you're talking to, also difficult to hear them through the slit beneath. Other than that this place is wicked chill and well located.
Working with the kids to pick up cans. Looking at reviews and seeing this place could be the best. We will be there Saturday to turn in about 17 bags of cans and plenty more to come. Please reach out if concerns may pop up
I got 4.50 for a bunch of aluminum which my brother had me cash in I'm not really aware of this kind of work /they definitely took advantage of me I brought aluminum rims also very shady and unorganized business

Best place to sale your scrap. They let you see everything they way om scale. Don't cheat you out of your stuff. They are honest. I would give them 100 stars if I could. Been going there for years never had a problem. I would drive a 100 miles to go to this place. If you go anywhere else you are loosing money.
Come here over Destiny's, there prices are better, there more reliable, and also gives you proof of sale apon asking and dont tell you to leave. Friendly staff, nand if i remember right offering jobs too, idk what for i dint ask sorry.
THEY STEAL! My family and I have gone here for 3 years, and I recently had my license expire and needed to get a new one and was politely informed of the 7 days to collect on a ticket (it’s also printed at the bottom). I told the gentleman that it’d definitely take longer than that to get it and asked for my scrap back. He assured me that they would pay the amount even after the 7 days. Finally got my License, came back to collect and they laughed in my face. Last time we’ll be coming here. Try out Astro city scrap
I took clean Excursion and clean metal both aluminum down there. They put the sheet and excursion together. Paid .50 for clean, .40 for dirty. Their competitor (Transformer recycling) 1 mile up the road pays .85 for clean excursion, 70 dirty, 50 for clean sheet alum. I said something to him. He said well we don't. I asked for the boss. When he said that he wasn't there, I told him that I wanted it back., he told me to get it out of the bin myself. I'm 61 with breathing issues. He was rude for telling me that. Go to Transformer if you want fair prices. I did call the owner and waiting on a respose.

We go all the time. Pays good, never any problems. They are here for the community. Service food and groceries once a month. And they always help me when I don't have anyone to help me unload. Thank you guys for your service.
The guys here, and the girls, have always been, in my experience, very nice and easy going and of course the reason that we all go there is to make money and these guys as far as this part of town anyway have the best payouts by far
Fast, easy, and fair prices. Also the owner gives away hot meals and groceries every month for anyone in the community that needs it for free. Best scrap yard in town and they care about the community!
Good place owner is awesome person very friendly and willing to help . Very clean yard the guy on equipment in back is very helpful. Keeps the traffic moving . I rate this the best place in town. #1 recommended around
Staff is quick and efficient, and they pay top dollar for scrap. The guy that runs equipment in the back is always professional and helpful. Also a very organized yard, easy to navigate a truck and trailer through.
Got here at 10 minutes till closing and they did NOT turn me away! Instead we got fast friendly service , I recommend this place over all other scrap yards! Thank you guys
Very shady business. If you want to buy scrap they give you the run around about who to talk to. Then they make up prices in their head and refuse to even tell you what price they are selling for. Then they won't even accept credit or debit cards. CASH ONLY. Who can call themselves a business in this age if they don't accept cards?? These guys are crooks.
I love this place I don't got any where else. Great weighing system. I am a female and I bring in scrap and get in my truck or trailer and toss off the metal. It's fun and I don't need any help. Just be scared for my tires though because it be a lil debris on the ground not a lot it's bearable. I have not caught a flat or anything yet. Lol. You just have to watch the prices of scrap it changes so when you feel like it's a good time take it on over and get paid. 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄🤗🤗
