The place off of Hwy. 6 is a dusty dump. The charge & fees for transporting and storing a vehicle are nothing short of highway robbery. After reviewing Woody's response to my initial review, please let me give some additional information: 1) At no time did I complain about the physical condition of my truck. Your unprofessional, wise guy comment about not having it washed and waxed for me is not the point. It's understood that the time in storage at this dusty dump of a location would certainly contribute to the appearance. I can't imagine anyone other than yourself, your staff, or your associates would dispute the dusty dump condition of your place whether a vehicle is stored for 1 day or 101 days. 2) There was no complaint issued about the 1 day charge of $22.85 for storage. I believe we both know and understand the circumstances involved about why that was the limitation imposed, so your additional unprofessional comment about my steal of an outcome on total charges was uncalled for with regard to the 24-day storage requirement. 3) You indicated that I only paid $458.38. You were incorrect in this comment. I actually paid $458.78 PLUS your 4% requirement for the use of a credit card, which brought the total to $477.13. Your 4% "Convenience Fee" of $18.35 for using a credit card is just an example of YOU wanting to use ME to pay YOUR bills for you. 4) I would suggest that you not attempt to debate me on the "highway robbery" aspect of my comment. The fact that I was charged $100.00 for a fuel "surcharge" & $250.00 for a "wrecker fee" for a total of $350.00 to move a vehicle from Bellmead to your dusty dump on Hwy. 6 is unwarranted, not to mention your additional $22.85 "Administrative Impound" fee and your $50.00 "Notification Fee" and your $10.00 "Government or Law Enforcement" fee. 5) Your, once again, unprofessional comment of my only being a keyboard warrior and should call you for discussion would only result in our agreeing to disagree and serve no discernable purpose. I would also remind you that you have my number as well, but only if you would be willing to lower your "highway robbery" charges & fees, which I highly DOUBT. You have a good day as well, sir. P.S. Try to do something about all that DUST at this dump of a location of yours.

I got pulled over and they towed my van there it only stayed like 5 or 7 days and in that process they scratched and dented my van the back bumper which caused it to be outta place and I had to pay 537 bucks to get it out when I got home I called them and I sent them a picture and 2 weeks now and no word they keep saying there big boss is outta town well it either needs to be fixed or I need half my money back or all my money back or 537 worth of free tows I'm being very patient and nice but my patience is wearing thin like thin ice I'm about to involve lawyers my last lawyer won so much money he decided to run for McLennan County district attorney and won he is not there no longer but I'm sure you get the picture or at least someone is about too.

I can Not believe how wonderful this company is! I was stranded and Woodys came to my rescue. They were fast, kind, and knowledgable. Chris picked up my car and told me how much he likes boss. The WHOLE Woodys crew is AMAZING! The bond they form after the first call you make almost makes you feel like family so you know they have your back when you or your family really needs them! My dually was stuck way off the road in the mud and broke the driveshaft. The owner Mr Buenger personally and quickly arrived on scene and winched my truck out. After my truck was winched out Mr Buenger noticed the drive shaft was broken, he then took the initiative to call one of their flatbeds to come load my truck and haul it to my house. It was the best towing experience I've ever had and it was super cheap for the amount of work that was done! I'd recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of tow! Very professional and fast!

We were 90 miles from our home, just gotten on I-35 when the upper ball joint on my husbands truck broke, thank goodness he was able to get us off the highway safely and the Waco police called for a tow truck for us! Jonathan from Woody's Wrecker Service showed up and he is WONDERFUL! Drove us all the way home & dropped the truck off at the dealership! He is very professional, caring & a GREAT driver. I called at 2 a.m. , got off the phone by 2:05 , truck arrived by 2:25, and my tire was changed and all was completed before 3 am. Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had with any roadside assistance of any kind. Henry the driver was respectful and a genuine stand up guy. Wonderful experience , and I know I can call them again if anything ever goes wrong ! I’d give 10 stars if I could. I really appreciated this service!

So I am over a year late writing this review. I can't believe I completely forgot to do it at the time we used Woody's. This company is downright phenomenal! My son's wrecked car was towed to Woody's tow yard after his accident awaiting further instruction from the insurance adjuster. Our insurance adjuster was being downright ridiculous. We wanted the car to go to a shop right there in Waco for repairs, but the adjuster insisted that THEIR tow company had to pick it up & take it to Waxahachie for the adjuster to look at it. After all of this happened & the car was delivered by the insurance company's tow truck to the shop, where it was bounced off of the flatbed truck because the driver couldn't get it started, it was discovered that the windows had been left down in one of Texas's famous spring storms. The inside of the car was completely flooded. Of course our insurance denied any wrong doing and placed the burden of proof on us to prove that neither my son nor Woody's were responsible for the windows being down. Enter the owner of Woody's, Justin. Justin took the time to sift through security camera footage and prove the windows were did indeed up when the car left their yard with the other tow truck. He was able to send me video clips of this proof. This was not Justin's problem. He didn't have to use his valuable time to help us. We weren't going to come after his business for damages as we knew good and well the windows were up when the car was in his possession. There was nothing for Woody's to gain or lose either way. Justin did what he did out of sheer kindness and the principle of the other businesses involved doing the right thing. I will never hesitate to use a business like Woody's that displays just plain good morals & values when doing business with them.

This place drug thier feet with allowing me to get my stuff out of my vehicle and it just happensyet and I called them and told them I a to be over 100 in the sun waiting for them to let me in with documentation that gives me the rights to get muy belongings. And because I don't have the license plate number they are so into themselves , they don't care so, dont ever get pulled over by lacey Lakeview . Woody's aren't kind or helpful . They are not Texas friendly !!!

My 18 year old daughter had a blow out on I-35. It was late at night, she was by herself & we were an hour & a half away. We tried to use the first company that we found online "Waco Tow Truck". They were aweful. We contacted Woody's Wrecker Service. They lady that answered the phone was very nice, professional & understanding. They got to her right away. My daughter was very comfortable with him. They did an amazing job. I can't say enough good things about this company!!!

Our daughter had a wreck while away at college. Woody's wrecker was called to pick up her car. Their driver (I wish I knew his name) looked after our daughter, asked her repeatedly if she was ok and even had her smiling before he left. On top of that they even came to meet us on a Saturday afternoon to get the car picked up. The price was very reasonable and service was highest quality.

They are very polite and careful with your vehicle. I have a low sitting bumper and I had gotten it towed by a different company before. They ripped one side of my bumper off. Woody's was very careful and had no problem with my low bumper.
