Feels like hometown service. Quick and easy. The young man made a recommendation to replace the air filter now or next oil change and even though it wasn’t essential now, I’d rather go ahead and get it done because I know quality and safety is a priority. Let’s go!
Great service! I take in my own oil and filters. They took them from me and had me wait for my truck in the waiting room. Received multiple updates. For changing oil and fuel system filters I was in and out!!!
Shop staff is awesome and will be coming back for future services. Really like the customer service this shop offers.

I was very disappointed in my last visit on 09/12/2025. Every time we have been there we have always had great service, this last time all that was done was the oil change and at that I don't feel like they did it right. There was a lot of playing around, no one checked the tires or my air filter. For what we paid it was not worth the service we were given, this place has really gone down hill.

I called ahead to make sure they were not backed up. Luke was very helpful and had a space ready for me when I got there. They offered me soft drinks and water and were very nice and knowledgeable. Always a good experience! That Luke is a good looking fellow. I’m surprised the girls are not fighting over him
I’ve been coming to Grease Monkey since they first opened here in Lubbock, and they’ve never let me down. Today, I stopped in for a routine oil change, and the team discovered an issue with the pulley. I’m so glad they caught it! They called me, explained what was going on, and even showed me the damage—it was obvious just by looking at it.
As a divorced girl dad getting ready for a Fourth of July road trip with my daughter to visit my parents, I couldn’t be more relieved that it’s getting fixed tomorrow. The timing couldn’t be better!
I HIGHLY recommend Grease Monkey. Their customer service is top-notch—friendly, honest, quick, and always looking out for their customers. They go the extra mile, and if they spot a problem (and can safely show you), they will. I’ve only ever seen this level of care in one other town. I won’t be going anywhere else!
If I could give this place zero stars I would… It took a whole hour before they even came out to check to see if we had been checked in, which we had been, but a whole hour before they made sure after looking at our car multiple times. We should have left sooner. Very unprofessional. Very unhappy with service, won’t be coming back
Very friendly and good work but man their prices have gone up. Normally I do my own oil changes but just haven't had time lately and went in. No complaints other than my wallet is still smoking a bit

Not worth the money. The vacuum cleaner didn’t hardly pick up anything. Paid extra to have the wheels cleaned and you can see where they didn’t clean them and also there were parts of the truck that didn’t even get touched by water
Jordan was so amazing! I’ve never had my oil changed and they asked me if I would like my car vacuumed out! Crazy good! He did not just vacuum out the middle! He vacuumed in between the seats where I can never get! I was so impressed! I felt like I had gotten my car detailed! Great customer service!
Great experience and I like that I can stay in my car now. Also love the bonus of a free car wash! I have a car wash Membership elsewhere, but I have to drive my own car. May consider switching. The only thing I wish I had received was a window sticker to remind me when to return for my next oil change. Otherwise, great experience!
My headlights where very yellow. They are sparkling clear. I brought 2 vehicles in for this service because I was so pleased with the first vehicle. The personal are very friendly as well.
I normally never post negative reviews, especially for a local business, but this is unbelievable!! I’ve my truck 2x’s and my wife’s Yukon Denali 2x’s and all 4 times we’ve had issues.
1st time in 11/2023 with my Tundra: oil leaked in my garage. When I took back to Grease Monkey they said they didn’t tighten the oil plug up.
2nd time today (7/24/2024): there’s oil in my garage again, but they’re closed.
1st time with my Wife’s Yukon: there was in the garage, because they had put in a Dodge oil plug.
2nd time with my wife’s Yukon: Same thing!! They told her the wrong plug was used..
It is very disappointing when you pay for 3 memberships, and the results are subpar and have no signs of improving. Always seems to be different people every time you go in for a wash. All of the employees rush through the vehicles just to get you out so they can move on to the next vehicle. We’ve been members for a very long time, and now we’re considering looking at memberships elsewhere.
Went for a car wash because of the great reviews in hopes that my black rims and tires would come out looking amazing. I chose the "Totally Bananas" package for the best possible chance of making my ride shine. Problem is with my Jeep Wrangler they did not touch my spare tire on the back at all. Pretty disappointed with the rest of the rims as well. A few spots on my black car were not touched or left looking splattered which is disappointing. Overall, the customer service was awesome.
UPDATE (7/24/2022): Just took my car in for brakes and an oil change only to find out Grease Monkey put the wrong filter (a GM 3/4 ton truck filter) on my Challenger and that it was finger loose (picture of incorrect filter next to correct filter in photo gallery). The mechanic told me he’s astounded it didn’t fall off as it was hanging on by a thread. DO NOT USE Grease Monkey for your wash or automotive maintenance needs. They do not employ adequate training practices, nor do they employ people knowledgeable enough to be performing the work they're responsible for.
Absolutely ridiculous. Just had a $20 wash done here and come home to find this. Bugs still all over the front, mirrors, and side of car. Even the back has black grime still all over it that comes off with a finger. My windshield has bug splotches as well. 3 guys dried it and happily took my tip from my hand without saying a word as to the quality of the wash. No offer for a re-run, nothing. As a college student, $20 for a wash and a $5 tip is a lot of money. One extra star for the wash I received last time being satisfactory.
