I had a great experience thanks to Jr. at AutoZone! He was very professional and went above and beyond. Not only did he help me figure out the exact correct battery I needed, but he also offered to install it right there. That kind of service is rare and much appreciated. Great customer service from all three employees work there 8/29. They assisted in helping my husband change our car battery as we were 4 hours from home!
The manager Doug went out of his way to help me with my battery during a busy time when another auto shop in town across the street said they couldn’t help and sent me to a dealership.

I was at this location back in February 2025 traveling through town when my battery died on me. The manager, Doug, (didn't get his last name) was very helpful in finding the right battery for my truck and even installed it for me to get me back on the road quickly. I very much appreciated him and his service.

I didn't get the names of the two men working but they went above and beyond helping me. They got me set up with the correct light and helped install it and made sure it worked before I drove off. Definitely a positive experience
Amazing service every time I come here! Brandy and Keith helped me and my friends identify a battery issue with one vehicle and confirmed we needed a tensioner pulley for another, as well as ensured that we got the correct parts. Would absolutely recommend!
I cant brag enough about a customer service man named Tony. I was so upset was having a bad day car broke down twice and he was so comforting and helpful .he tested my battery and ended up needing a new one but i just was so impressed by him
7:30am to 9pm is the hours of operation at this store in Lampasas Tx is what website says. But if you call this store at 20 or 15 til 9 no one answer's the phone. I simply needed to order a part because I'm broke down and you people can't do your damn job. 9pm is when you stop answering phones bunch of lazy as people. This happens all the time at this store. You deserve 0 stars.
After only 20,000 miles my 2023 Nissan Rogue needed a new battery. I decided to purchase my new battery from Auto Zone instead of Nissan.
Why reward Nissan for using what seem to be sub-standard parts by buying the battery from them.
I bought the battery from the Auto Zone in Copperas Cove, but they would not install it for me because the negative battery terminal looked too complex.
I took the battery to Auto Zone in Lampasas and they installed it for me and processed the core refund in 22 minutes.
Justin at the Lampasas Auto Zone was professional and courteous.
He didn’t hesitate when I asked them if they would install the battery for me even though I purchased the battery from the Cove store.
I had an exceptional experience at AutoZone, thanks to the outstanding efforts of Manager Justin g. Their extensive knowledge, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond made my visit seamless. Their customer service skills and problem-solving abilities truly set the standard. Highly recommend this AutoZone location! He even went out of his way and installed my windshield wipers in the rain!
I want to talk about some incredible service that I received from the Lampasas autozone from Zack. A couple of days ago I was running late coming through Lampasas and my trailer didn't have the right connector and I called the head to ask them if they could stay open just a few minutes so I could get that connector for my trailer. Zack agreed to wait for me. I got there by 5 after 8 and he has my connector on the counter. I paid for it and left and I was happy! As I was pulling off Zack, was in the car next to me and let me know that my trailer lights still weren't working and ask me to follow him to his house. Zack then offered to rewire my trailer and hook the lights up for me so I could get on my journey headed out to Lubbock Texas. It took him over an hour to rewire that trailer but he did not stop until I had tail lights, break lights and turn signals. Talking about going above and beyond what is required!! We would all be better off if the world had more people like Zack in it!!!!
Always great to go there. Folks are friendly, helpful, especially to women. A lady rang me up, very knowledgable about cars, worked with her Dad learning and very friendly. I like smiles rather than frowns.. Also nice clean store.
The Auto Zone at S. 1st and St. Elmo Road in Austin Tx is brand new and huge! Recently I thought I had purchased the wrong headlight bulbs for my car and ended up at the S. 1st location to switch them for the right bulbs. The owner/ manager went above and beyond good service by letting me know they were the correct bulbs and actually installed them for me in the parking lot. It restored my faith in excellent customer service and I so very thankful for Mr. De La Garza's kindness!
Drove down there because they said they had a part. After waiting for about 10 mins turns out they didn't. What got me is all they said was I could drive 20 mins away to another store and they might have it. They didn't bother to look on computer or call other store to see if it was even in stock there. 3 employees in there at the time and I was the only customer. Went to O'rielys down the street and was able to get the part ordered with no problem. I will never be going back to that location again.
The business practice of never keeping the lower cost option in stock is going to end up costing these businesses their customers if I'm going to have to wait I'll order it online and get it at a fraction of the cost
Manager, Cody, I believe, was extremely helpful and assured me in both purchase and installation of my items. Wonderful service and they had everything I needed. (Bulbs, air cabin filter, headlight cleaner, air freshener).
Well I'll pick AutoZone any day over in O'Reilly's.
Mainly because at O'Reilly's they sold me a fuel hose and a very high price when all I really needed was just a hot water line hose but they gave me a fuel hose instead and charged me four times the price
It's not that I'm hated it ,but it felt like the salesperson didn't really want to help me like at O'Reilly 's! Salesperson was nice and happy to help me at O'Reilly 's!
Treated my wife with a disrespectful attitude. When my wife asked for assistance in fillng our diesel truck with def fluid the sales clerk told her he didn't have to help, after her protest with bother clerk and manager under protest the clerk reluctantly helped fill the truck, he accidentally splashed def in her face and offered no apology. Only after a phone call did the manager apologize.
The woman that works here is very knowledgeable about vehicles... and she is great with customers. I went in at 8:00 in the morning & she had a very pleasant & upbeat attitude!! I could tell she loves what she's doing!! Great job... Kenia!!!
The employees there are always very helpful and will even do minor things for you , such as replacing a battery or putting on an easy part. You can even borrow tools to use if you need them.
