By far, Travis was totally awesome in helping me and my son. He found a very good mechanic to fix my son's truck, which broke down in Lampasa, late in the evening. This is what I call excellent service. Thank you, Travis and Shane!!!
If only I could give the zero stars this review truly deserves. This has always been our go to location for batteries and any other car and truck needs we might have. As of 3-10-25 we will never do business with any location again. My husband took a 1 yr and 3 mo. old battery back for exchange that was still under warranty. The manager informed him it had to be hooked to their testing machine and it would take 2 hours for the test to be completed!!!! That is literally the biggest lie he could have told us and why? We have had batteries tested before and have been around long enough to know that was a complete fabrication from a lazy, incompetent employee. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and will continue to. This location has been going downhill for quite some time but it’s clear it finally hit rock bottom.
This location should be ashamed of themselves. The ASSISTANT MANAGER named GERALD was rude and wouldn’t help my mother that was by herself while traveling through Lampasas trying to get to Round Rock. Her battery died and had to be jump started by helpful strangers. So she goes to your auto parts store to buy a new battery and asked if he could helpful install. He wouldn’t help her!! Two men in line offered to help her while over hearing the conversation with Gerald. You literally advertise that you help test and install batteries…too bad she had no other choice but to purchase a battery from your store. God Bless the men that stepped up and helped my mother. I see all the good reviews are from years ago when Eric was there. Now that Z is running the back it has gone down hill. Travis the manager and Z is running that place into the ground. Eagle Autoparts is the place to go now.
I have a fleet of work trucks along with several hot rods. some of which have a plethora of different parts that are not OEM. these guys have always been able to help me track down the parts that I need to keep my rigs on the road, even when it takes some digging and research
The people who waited on me were really nice and helped me get what I needed at a great price! The man who put my battery in my car was named Phil ! He didn't make me feel stupid !
I dealt with a phil at the copperas cove location but he says he's usually at this location. I just have to say this guy went above and beyond ! He honestly deserves a raise he was that amazing I was just in awe with how much he helped me this guy truly has a kind heart.
Needed a part for a BMW. Went to the other chain store in town and said they would have to order it .It was Sunday so they probably wouldn't have it till Tuesday. they didn't have it in stock at their store but said they would have it by 4 p.m. that day! Got the parts that afternoon and had the vehicle fixed by early evening. Way to go O'Reilly's!!!!
The only place to go in Lampasas for all of your automotive parts! I was on my way home from being in Goldthwaite and my battery light came on. I called and talked to Stephen and he said they had an alternator in stock. After I arrived and purchased it I asked if I could borrow some tools and change it in the parking lot. Stephen helped me change it. Great customer service!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Went out for a drive and my temperature sensor came on (scared me to death); fortunately for us the O'Reilly Auto Part store was right there!
I purchased coolant and went out to my car to top it off, but something wasn't right. Ross did not hesitate and came out to help and got my car running again!
I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate Ross' help and the excellent customer service that he provided. Because of him, we made it home safe and sound.

My car died outside of lampasas and they were nice enough to come out and give me a jump so I could make it to town. Ended up buying a battery from them and they even installed it. THANK YOU AGAIN !! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AAA++++
Went there today looking for a fuel line for a diesel farm tractor. After some discussion, the staff decided they could make one in house. They called me 2 hours later to tell me it was done and gave me a total. The total price is about half of what I would pay going to the international tractor dealer. I have been a customer here for over 5 years and they have a team of knowledgeable Parts Pros and are always very helpful. They are the only auto parts store I use in Lampasas.
Staff actually knows a little bit about internal combustion engines and general mechanic-ing. They are friendly, keep a very clean store, and are always willing to answer questions.
I was on my way home when I began to have truck problems. The assistant manager was extremely helpful. He informed me that my battery was the incorrect battery for my truck and offered an exchange for the appropriate one since I had recently bought the battery.
Always a great help with finding what I need. And explaining anything I have a question about. Never an attitude just because I'm a woman and know alot about my vehicles.☺☺
I went in this morning to buy a headlight bulb for my car. The staff was excellent and helpful. Phil and his staff went out of their way to help me open my car hood after Jiffy Lube in Temple broke the cable by pulling too hard on the latch. Phil even changed my bulb on my headlight. Awesome people working at OReilly's in Lampasas Texas!!!
