Sorryto hear you had a bad experience here CP. 6 to 8 years ago is a pretty long to leave a review, mechanics have come and gone in that time period and has gone through new ownership in that time. although still owned by the same family
I was there it's been at least probably 6 or 8 years ago. Anyways there was supposed to fix my car back then a Toyota that I had and they ended up messing up further. And I did spend a lot of money there to have them fix it because I was getting back my internal revenue money back for the year. And then my brother had to end up helping me fix the rest of it up that they didn't fix up the time. I am very dissatisfied with this company. And I will never refer anybody to them. The rating I would give them a zero but I have to give him one in order to post it.
I have been going to A&B Motors ever since I moved to Joshua.
Jacob and his Team are professional and they care about each client and their needs.

Took truck for inspection and the old guy doing the inspection is totally incompetent as he said he could not inspect because my obd port was not working! (No power) took it down the street and had 0 problem getting the inspection done!! Wont be back!!!!
Really nice folks, walked in treated like family. First time going there, smog machine was down but will gladly head there from now on as they were all so nice!
Had a problem with my car and took it to another shop who gave a diagnosis and a VERY high price to repair. A friend told me to check with A&B who gave an estimate about half of the original one. So I took it in on Friday 3-28 and was told the original diagnosis was completely wrong! A&B told me what the issue was and fixed it for even less. And FAST! I'm pretty new in the area and I have found the shop I will be dealing with from here on. Thank you guys for everything!

Popped in cuz I had a water leak. / I'm glad I stopped cuz my truck was bone dry. They filled it with water and antifreeze, gave me a price quote and I made it home. Their prices are phenomenal!!! Low cost and expertise. Just gonna have someone follow me over there as soon as they get the part. Yay for honest mechanics. God bless this place. !!! From a lil old lady with cancer!!
We received outstanding, professional, courteous service yesterday from Jacob and his team yesterday. Traveling from Dallas to Kingsland, we had to have a wheel bearing replaced. They were able to diagnose the problem, pick up the part and install it. We need more businesses like A&B Automotive. Honestly, integrity and empathy…highly recommend! Thank you Jacob!
They’ve worked on my wife’s Jeep twice now and have always steered us right. They were able to get it in fast and actually saved her thousands on a new motor after another shop failed to find that a sensor was just unplugged. Highly recommend
They are SOOOO backed up they absolutely can't be flexible with time at all! You have to drop your car off and in-between 17 other car repaired yours will be jacked with for 2-3 days then you can get it!! ^7_
These guys have been taking care of our company trucks and personal vehicles for the last 15 years. They have been a blessing to us on many occasions. I trust them 100% And they have came through 100%. Thanks again

I had a wonderful experience at A&B Automotive. I went here for a second opinion in fixing the lower control arm on my minivan. I received an extremely high quote to fix it from another place, not to be named. The owner at A&B Automotive was honest with me when they went in to fix the problem. My control arms were not broken after all. I needed an alignment and balancing all my tires. I am very thankful for their honesty and doing a great job. I would recommend them to others and I will go back when I need something done, even though it is quite a long drive to Joshua.
Do Not take your car to this shop they will destroy it. I took my car in for AC work that was not done but I was charged $1550.00. When I picked up my car it now has front end damage that was not present when I took it in. When I called and talked to Jacob the owner his first response was " But is the AC working". This shop will break your car so they get more money out of you.
A and B is our families number one choice for auto care! They take such great care of us always. They go above and beyond to make sure our vehicles are on top top shape! Daisy (the bus) goes nowhere else!
I really do like this place and we've been going there for quite a while. Things have been slightly different when it changed management, but that won't change my mind on going there. Jacob is a great guy and very knowledgeable.
This place gained my business back in the mid 90’s because they didn’t see a woman coming and inflate the price. They were fair then and have earned my business time and time again over. 25+ years. Kenny left behind a legacy

Love, love, love this shop! They have been so good to us, we'll never go anywhere else now that we've found them! Took another local shop a year and they didn't fix my truck, A&B got it done and back to me in a timely manner and it runs great!
These guys are honest, work quickly, and are very straight forward! Came here after getting an $880 estimate from another place wanting to tack on a bunch of stuff when I just needed a wheel bearing and hub assembly replaced. I now have a quiet vehicle and they saved me over $600.
Update: I've been going to these guys for almost a year now. Everything in my old review still stands! Extremely honest and hard working! I've had rough experiences with mechanics in the past and feel incredibly lucky to have found this shop.
Kenny and his staff always do excellent work. They are friendly, helpful, and good people. My family has taken our vehicles to them for years. Won't go anywhere else.
I had to give 1 star so I could write a review. Otherwise I would give this place -5 stars for ripping people off. My sister was charged full price for a POS catalytic converter that only lasted a year! Be very weary of this place!

I had an Ac replaced in May that stopped working this week. I took it in to them and they fixed me right up! First time in my 33 years of life that a mechanic shop hasn't tried to make something my fault or rip me off. They didn't ask for a single dollar! Kenny is extremely kind and professional and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
