Staff is very kind here. It can be easy if you're new to scraping to feel lost there are multiple different types of scrap& can be different ways or rules to unloading. Every1 here is nice& willing to help very friendly. love the big big clan guy is so good at it is almost like it surgical. lol
Let me start off saying that aim recycling is badass place to go to the cashier lady Myra she's nice friendly outgoing helpful and you got to add she's pretty looking too
I’ve been a customer here for a long time. The service has always been fast, fair, and friendly.
However, today I was attended by a guy who was very slow and didn’t know what type of material it was; it was clear he didn’t have much knowledge. It would be good for him to receive training to provide more efficient and high-quality service.
Brought in brake drums, rotors, crankshafts and was paid tin prices after I had already unloaded. There was no one at the scales or to show you were to go or confirm what metals you have. I had to ask the man inside the huge trac machine in the yard which pile he wanted me to unload at. He looked at my trailer load and pointed to the short iron pile farthest north part of the yard and farthest away from the Dodge dealership on the scale side of office. Complete scam place to go. Do not get ripped off by taking anything to this place. Look at all the 1 star reviews for this place. I should have looked before I went there. Lesson learned. Go somewhere else

, This is a scam, the truth is, I came to sell pure aluminum, and when I wanted to ask about the price before unloading they refused to tell me and that they were going to tell me at the counter since they will unload it, unload it and everything and since they were going to pay me they only gave me 66 for 1200 lb of aluminum, this is a very serious scam.
I have 58 pounds of cans. According to Google the going rate is 50-70¢ lb. I recieved 20.6¢ lb. That was a complete ripoff.
Replying to the reply I got about my post yesterday. I was there around 2:30 on May 28th. I was wearing black shorts and a burgundy tank top and wearing a ball cap. I carried two contractor bags very full of cans, most were at least partially crushed. The scale showed 58 lbs. I went to the window and after I signed the electronic pad, I was given $12. No receipt was even offered, which I found off but didn't question, especially since I was in shock about the low amount of money I was given for that many cans. Please feel free to check the cameras. I guarantee that you will find everything I said to be exactly what transpired.
They are fine for cheap scrap, but DO NOT bring in more valuable metals to them unless you like getting ripped off. I brought in copper and brass and as I went into the office to ask some questions they just helped themselves into the back of my truck and started unloading my scrap. The entire process was rushed and non transparent. They put the forklift on the scale which can manipulate the weight but by the time i realized they had shaved off several hundreds of pounds they had already mixed my scrap into the community hoard. They priced my 80% brass as if it were tin shred. All in all i made less than half for my copper and brass than i would have made had I taken it to a reputable recycler in Dallas. When I voiced my concerns to the office they just laughed at me. I will never bring my more valuable metals here again.
They to give number 2 price for bare bright copper. Know what you got before you come. The guy manager refused to give me his name and was very rude. I will not be coming back there

Robert needs to treat us all the same. Customer always #1 It's better to have a satisfied customer that will bring 3 more customers than a dissatisfied. Custhey will tell everyone, don't go there. Robert will rip you off and treat you, bad

4 stars because they give you tin pieces for whatever metal you bring except copper and aluminum. But for clean copper and aluminum you get dirty metal prices. It is convenient if you live in the area and don't wanna make the longer drive to the other scrap yards. The workers are friendly and it's pretty quick to get in and out and get paid.
Brought in short iron and some tin and after unloading everything they only paid me tin price for all of it. Brought in another load of clean aluminum and they paid me dirty aluminum price for it. I do not recommend using this place at all. its worth the drive to either Forney or Dallas if you want to get paid what your scrap is really worth and not get ripped off.
I show up 12 minutes before closing and they said they were closed. I said you still have 12 mintues. They got rude and said they were closed that I needed to leave. I called in to the office and guess what no answer and voice mail full. Only reason they got one star is because you have to put at least one.
