I had to get my motorcycle out of storage while in thw hospital. They not only took the payment for my motorcycle to be released; they also were in constant communication with me. Trustworthy reliable customer first service!!!!!!!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend
I had multiple wrecker services just plain hang up on me. The person on the phone with this service was kind and the price reasonable. The driver arrived quickly and was just so nice. I hope I never need a wrecker again but they are the only ones I would call.
Avoid This Company at All Costs – Negligent and Unaccountable
On June 17, 2024, Poteet Wrecker Service towed my 2012 Ford F-350 Super Duty XL with a fully loaded 3-car Kaufman hauler at the direction of a Pasadena Police officer. The tow driver, Jessie, acknowledged during a recorded phone call that he damaged my truck’s transmission oil cooler during the tow. This caused a complete loss of transmission fluid, resulting in total lock-up of the engine and over $14,000 in mechanical repairs.
When I contacted Jessie and the company owner, they both refused to provide their insurance information, despite the damage being clearly acknowledged and documented. Instead of taking accountability, I was dismissed and told to “take it up with someone else.”
Here’s what makes it worse:
• The Pasadena Police Towed Vehicle Report clearly states the truck was damaged during the tow.
• The storage yard supervisor at the Pasadena impound lot confirmed the damage and called Jessie himself, who admitted fault.
• The company has refused to cooperate or show any responsibility, forcing me into hardship and legal action.
This tow ruined my only source of income and left me with months of financial loss. I’ve now had to escalate this issue to TDLR, TMLIRP, and legal counsel just to seek justice.
If you care about your property and livelihood, do not trust Poteet Wrecker Service with your vehicle. They are reckless, dishonest, and utterly unprofessional.
We needed my grandfathers car towed in the middle of the H‑E‑B parking lot, and he was able to get it towed, no problem and pretty quickly! Very professional and did an outstanding job.
Got this company through my dealership. First, Manual the driver, charged me for an hour wait when I had text messages proving when they got there till the time I arrived. That was only 30 minutes. Mike, the owner was rude and abrupt when I called then had to recall when my car was read, because he didn't give me an adjustment. He was even more rude at that time. As I was explaining my issue he cut me off and said "what do you need, I'm busy?" He did call dealership then and adjusted the 60 min wait time to 30 minute. Breaker drivers have up by the tail, they have no concern for us just how much money they can charge.
Jesse was amazing! Our wood delivery truck got stuck in our pasture because of the recent rains. Jesse was professional, knowledgeable and obviously experienced. He had the truck out in minutes!
Manuel was professional, prompt, thorough, and took excellent care of my vehicle. I called this morning around 7:30, gave them all the information they needed, and they were on-site before 9 am.
They go around looking to tow people's vehicles from places they or not contracted or they're not authorized to tow at . This is a pirate to company they steal your vehicle and impound it at different storage yards and claim that you was parked in a unauthorized parking. Beware of this company . VERY SHADY TOW CO.
This company treated me well! Ray was very professional navigating the streets of Houston with my rig. If you need some help, I recommend you give them a call.
So unprofessional! I called to get a price and the guy asked for address info, I gave it to him. He then asks me how many miles and I had no idea, I figured that's what he was calculating when he asked for the addresses. I asked if he could figure out mileage and he said "no I'm on lunch and I can't give you a price if you can't give me miles", next time he shouldn't answer his phone on his lunch break!
I called last minute spoke to a guy name Mike who came through in the clothes.. had all the answers and got me taken.. meet with a guy named Robert .. wich is a great name by the way .. but teally he took care of business took my vehicle where I need and was professional about it and let me know they are 24hr service ... highly recommend if in the Pasadena area.. and need a tow
Robert was very professional and I did not have to wait long at all. I will use Poteet wrecker service in the future and recommend them to friends and family
They showed up relativly quickly. $85 to tow 8 minutes away. I'm sure that's pretty normal. Tows are expensive and I wasn't really in a position to research prices.
I broke down in Humble on a Sunday night and couldn't get hold of a single live person at any of the local wrecker services. I didn't expect Poteet to be able to get someone out to me, but they did and got me and my car back to Pasadena at a pretty reasonable rate. Will definitely save a lot of time and frustration and call them first if (God forbid) this ever happens again.
