Waited in line patiently for a half an hour sweating to death to have worker your Alfred Ortiz rushing me & being the rudest most impatient & racist person I have ever met in my life!!! Why take off when I'm still unloading my items? He did not even allow me to put all my items in bin for weight this man rushed me then I see after on my ticket only 55 pounds when sorry I had 3 bikes that should of been 25-30 pounds a bike plus the other bag that I still had in my car that I had to bring to Mr. Ortiz that I weighted from home and it was 20 pounds plus more items in my car that should of weighed in total 120 pounds. So how my ticket was for 55 pounds makes absolutely no sense & your worker flat out told me when I called back that he would be the one answering the phone when I called asking to speak to a manager because your worker was rude as hell!!! Also on my ticket it said $4.40 yet I'm only given $4.00. The top line was for $4.00 the bottom line $.40 cents someone clearly can not add!!! I only came here because I thought you guys were a more fair scrap yard then the scrap yard near my house!!!!! Which because of your worker!!!! I won't be coming back here & will be contacting the manager next week as well as your corporate office considering this all seemed race motivated as to why I was not given the correct amount on weight!!!!
Woowww!!! Never been to a scrap metal recycling center before. It's easier to vote for the president of the United States then sell scrap metal. First some guy walks up to you doesn't day anything just puts an tablet in your face and takes your picture than your vehicle and license place. Then says he needs your Id. When they finish they give you a ticket to cash out where they need your ID again AND your thumb print😐 that's crazy.
The price for cans is fair @ $0.70 compared to others @ $0.55. The problem was that I weighed in over 30lbs. but they only counted 22lbs. They were dry and trash bags don't weigh much and I only had five thin drawstraps. My purple bag only weighs 3lbs. Of course when you have a complaint, Noone speaks English except behind the glass. By then the scale is cleared and it's too late. I rode far for that so to me it's not worth it of they take that much off. Not that it matters much to anyone but am homeless and walk around all day picking off road and ditches.
It's was alright..i guess...yeah you do have to unload yourself sometimes...but it ain't bad...the guys do help if they see something heavy..also people complaining about scratch up SUVs...or damaged bumpers shouldn't be scrapping anyway...get a trailer..this is a Scrapyard..
Very racial, they don't like the Anglo, I called the manager to complain and she had gender biased attitude. Besides this place needs a visit by the state to check their scales. Wrights and measures!
This is supposed to be a professional business, and every time I call their phone it goes strait to voice mail, not to professional if you ask me, sometimes your in and out, and sometimes have to wait about 45 minutes, also I've noticed throughout the years (sometimes) they give you less then the other recycling yards, and I thought this was a CASH business, but they MAKE you PURCHASE a card from them, and sometimes give you a CHECK to go cash so you PAY for a card and then PAY a check cashing fee, I go to recycling yards to get paid not to pay, I guess they got to make their money too
