This is the best recycling company I ever worked with. I had very good experience with them and I recommend it for anyone needs a recycling/scrap service.

I normally deal with Angel's or Wright's but thought I'd give CMC a try and it was a mistake. I brought in 200 lbs of #1 copper and after it was put on their scale it only showed to be 194 lbs. Then I was told that it was not #1 but #2 copper because it had "paint" on it which was a very small amount of corrosion and nothing more. After refusing to sell it to them I took it to Angel's and they weighed it at 200 lbs and gave me #1 copper price for it. The scales at Angle's are accurate and they are honest.

Mucha demora

DO NOT GO HERE. HE OFFERED ME $3 FOR 1,000 POUNDS OF COPPER, BRASS & IRON. I went down the road to the metal scrap yard on Washington Street, Wrights. They gave me a check for $320.00. This place will rip you off. Avoid at all costs.

I've been recycling metal here for years. Not sure why but the last time I came in instead of scrapping my solid Plumbing valves and shower manifolds as yellow brass, which to everyone else is what they are since they're high grade Plumbing fixtures and not door knobs. They were scrapped as Refinery brass. I was not given an explanation why but I received about 20% the price of what I normally get for the brass. I'm definitely not coming back here.

This place will steal from you. I brought in a solid steel trailer house frame and they priced it as shredded tin. On my most recent transaction I brought in a Ford truck and they priced it as shredded tin. Then they dropped my scrap truck on my trailer and destroyed the fender. It could actually cost me money to try to sell scrap to them. They said that none of the equipment they use to offload trailers works. Yall do what you want but this place will steal your money. I'll never do business with them again.

I was very concerned about my tires because there was so much scrap metal on the ground. They ask for everything except a sample of blood to cash in your metals.

Wow only 1 review so far? I've always seen competitive at CMC. They normally do a sort of monthly drawing or member benefit also. I've only used them to recycle aluminum, but I've always had an easy and positive experience.
