I agree with the comments below. I haven’t been able to get my medications for weeks despite many attempts. The portal doesn’t work and I have been unhappy with my doctor as well. I can’t recall a more frustrating doctor experience, please save your sanity and look elsewhere.

this place is a joke, do not waste your time coming here. I previously went to get an iud placed in and 5 years later I return to get it removed. Only to be told the health care center in my town made the wrong appointment and I’d need a consultation first. Mind you I was patient enough to be turned away that time even though I drove 30 minutes to be there. I rescheduled for the consultation and while I’m working they call to confirm the appointment and I cannot take phone calls at work. So I missed their phone call “confirming” the appointment while I’m busy and I call back their number from the voicemail they left. And I called 3 times and got no response I left my full name and number to reach me, now 12 days later no call back or anything to resolve my issue. These people are unprofessional and rude, especially with the doctor leaving 30 min early for their personal time. If I could report them I definitely would smh. Don’t bother

Went for a follow up for my diabetes and they changed the doctor and it went completely different I was surprised ? with the new doctor she wanted to make so many changes of my meds. I so miss my doctor April Hall and the nurses but they all we're transferred ??

Every single time I call them I'm on the phone for hours trying to get a hold of someone but they keep hanging up on me or the call gives up and I have to call them back. If I could sue them I would. Because I need my medicine and it's always mission impossible to get a hold of them.

If there was an option to give this dental office a negative star I would!!! I scheduled an appointment one month in advance, I work until 2:00 am, live an hour away and my Medicaid runs out this month. When I showed up to the appointment they told me that it had been canceled bc they did not update my phone number when I called to schedule the appointment and I did not answer to confirm the appointment the day before!!!!!! The last phone number they had was from 2017!!!!! I do not understand why this wasn’t done when the last phone number they had was from five years ago!!!It is their JOB to ensure client treatment!!!!! The front lady was very dismissive and said “yes ma’am we canceled it.” As a patient who is insured through Medicaid I am a high need client! Then she also told me in a dismissive and condescending way that the the dentist was also not taking new clients. They are fortunate that I do not report them to the ethical board. Wow.

My second review of this place and it’s still so good! Dr. Anil Kumar James Is the best dentist around. He made sure I was comfortable and couldn’t feel any pain while he did my wisdom tooth extraction today. Explained aftercare thoroughly and the assistant was kind and asked if I was okay afterwards many times. And they let me see my tooth! That was fun haha. Whole experience was handled very professionally and with care. Love this place

My dental assistant and dentist were so nice. Dr. Kumar was the only dentist of the 3 I’d seen in the past month for my issue that ACTUALLY helped me and I appreciate it so much.

Literally dying because this place told me they had a surgeon that they would refer me to that visits from San Antonio. After one year that tooth broke still no referral. I've spent around $700 just on teeth cleanings, they did manage to save one tooth but I still need additional work to save that one and it wasn't very cheap either. You might save fifty bucks. Anyways back to dying since I can't afford $500 at an actual Dentist.

I love the visit to the Gonzales Community Health Center. The staff was very Courteous and professional. They took time to explain to my daughter in detail what need to be done. And I really appreciate that. Thank you all For your wonderful service.

Yes took me right in at my apt time & was reasonable & the dentist listened to my concerns & answered my question so did his dental assistant. We absolutely love Dr E. THANK U Dr Stephanie E for all u do!!!

Dr. Medellin is a fantastic health care physician who goes beyond his professional duties. I consider myself fortunate to have a physician that actually listens and cares for each person. We all appreciate the wonderful individual care we feel when we need it

I rearranged my LIFE to get an appointment (for 2 vaccines) here 60 minutes away from my house. Only to be turned away and was told they thought I was a kid, and not an adult. I called in my own appointment mind you. They had the children's vaccines in stock, and not the adult ones. Then I was asked to go and hunt down these vaccines with zero assistance from them. Highly unprofessional.

The Dr and his assistant did a excellent job. My mouth is hard to numb up but he did a awesome job. Won’t be afraid to see this dentist again

I had a dental teeth cleaning today by Tammy and she did an amazing job from getting me back for my appointment, to taking some X-rays and then cleaning my teeth. She was very personal and easy to talk to. I had a very good experience and look forward to going back in 6 months.

Very kind, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr Alba Sierra-Perez took her time to make sure and address all my issues- every other dr I’ve ever been to would only address one thing then I’d have to make more appointments to address anything else. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

Friendly staff… Love Dr. Alba because She’s s so passionate about her patients’ health. Great experience with lab. Nicole was friendly and a great conversationalist.

Great work done by Mr. Kumar and his assistant. (Sorry dear I didn’t get your name) They truly work well together. I must say both times that the Doc did work on my teeth he was so good that I actually fell asleep. Job well done sir!!

This was my first time having a doctor visit here. I was very skeptical at first but had my mind changed immediately. Diane,the receptionist, was very sweet and friendly. It didn’t take long to get called into the back, considering I was a new patient. Dr. Hall is the sweetest, caring, most helpful doctor. Kudos to the team who welcomed me on my visit today and made me feel comfortable.

My Dentist Dr and his assistant were amazing they always asked if I was okay he would poke my tooth after the numbing and ask if I felt anything and if I did he would put more numbing stuff they were so caring and helpful I would totally go again if I didn't live so far Great great service

I'm retired from the dental field. I worked 25 years. So I know what to look for. I thought the service I received was excellent. And a great value. I haven't been able to afford dental work for about 15 years. The exam and X-rays only cost me $60.00. I don't have insurance. So I really appreciate the help.

Went in this morning after they changed my appointment last minute, had terrible side effects from my birth control. I called left a voicemail and even called again and spoke to a receptionist. I was told I was going to get a call back. NO CALL BACK! I know birth control is all on me, but when someone calls you feeling bad & “a nurse will call you back” & no call back makes me feel like NO ONE CARES. Especially when it says CALL YOUR DOCTOR IF YOUR GETTING SIDE EFFECTS! Good thing I was able to manage myself and feel a little better. I know it’s the holidays but YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR JOB FIRST!

The Dentist and assistant were very friendly and professional. They made me very comfortable and took care of my needs in a very timely manner. They continued to give me breaks if needed and I truly felt they cared for me as a patient.

The nurse practitioner went above and beyond the call of duty, but she seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me. Granted, sometimes I need pointing in the right direction, but she could have waited till I found the bathroom. Yes, she kept trying to point me out the door! I wouldn’t worry about it, it’s probably me.

I got my appointment by phone on time as scheduled. The Dr. listened to what I had to say and took care of everything I asked. All in all besides fast and friendly was a great experience. Thanx again

I have been utilizing GCHC for a couple of years. I have insurance through Obamacare, and this is the closest clinic to me that is covered by my insurance. Occasionally I have had some issues. A few years back I had a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek. Dr. Hall is my PCP, but was unavailable when I needed my appointment. The doctor I saw was quick and got my referral for me so I could see a specialist. On the day I was having it removed from my face, the specialist realized my referral had just expired. Myself and the main front desk all tried calling the clinic all morning to get that referral updated. The specialist was wonderful and allowed me to simply sit in a comfortable area and wait for it to come through. It did take a while to get ahold of the right person to get it done. All in all, I waited almost two hours from the time we were supposed to start (I arrived a half hour early). It can, sometimes, be difficult to get ahold of the appropriate people and get paperwork done. However, I do try to always remind myself that we are a small community, and this clinic utilizes a variety of people and doctors so that we can have these services in our area (covered by Obamacare). This means that sometimes the service is not stellar. I can say, without a doubt, that those that work the front desks do work hard at their jobs and they are always busy. It must be a tough job. I try to keep that in mind when the red tape of insurance and paperwork has frustrated me. James Quartey DDS is my dentist. The dental office has the smallest waiting area I've ever experienced. It is the size of a very small closet (perhaps five chairs total?). You may find yourself having to stand or wait outside. However, my dental hygienist and the dentist are both lovely people. I've enjoyed the care I receive there. NOTE: I'm not sure if it is specifically something that happens with Obamacare, but when you go in for your very first visit, you will only see the dentist. They will then schedule you again for a cleaning. I've never had this experience before, and it only happened on the very first visit. After that, I had my cleaning and my dentist evaluation at the same time. I have seen this happen to others on their first visit, as well. I see Patrick Caldwell for obgyn services (she is a nurse practitioner). I love her, and am so glad she is at our clinic. As someone entering peri-menopause, she has been a great encouragement. She reminds me to be patient, while also telling me not to hesitate to contact her if the more natural approaches stop working for me. I trust her immensely. I've had lab work done several times, and the staff back in the lab are quick and very skilled. That's always a good thing when you have thin veins, like I do. This is not the best clinic I've used in my lifetime, by far. However, due to its location, I find it to be valuable. My issues are with communication and the handling of paperwork. I do not have any issues with the skill of the doctors and professionals providing services.

Worst place you can ever Visit. I found out i was pregnant but I had alot of pain. I made that clear to this clinic. I called to make an appointment Oct 13, ASap because the hospital said I had to get my levels checked. The reception was rude and also was stupid. SHE said " we have an appt on OCt. 29" close to 2 weeks later! I miscarried Oct.26. Thanks alot Clinic! They had said that the back and abdominal pain was normal, ya right! So heart broken. Dr Colvin in seguin gave me an appointment right away after my miscarriage.
