When I knew something wasn't right with my car, I called up to Dwayne's and spoke to Damien, He told me to bring my car up and he'd take a look at it. Not only did he take my car for a drive, he diagnosed what I needed for Free!! Thanks to him I feel so much safer with me and my daughter in my car. I am so happy that Damien and Jermaine, his brother run both these shops because they truly are the most honest, down to earth, Good to God guys and I know with all my heart they only give the best advice. Thank you so much to all the men up there helping out!!!!

I meant to write a review about this place the first time they worked on my truck, but I'm glad I waited until my second time, because now I have even more good things to say. This shop is honest and straight to the point. They are quick in their work and the prices are amazing. They won't try and trick you- I had to get my truck towed to their shop (which they handled!) because I thought the starter was busted. Turns out it was just some wiring, and they only fixed that and only charged for that. We all know most other shops would have unnecessarily changed the starter just to charge you more. Plus they only charged $45 for the tow! I will continue taking all my vehicles here in the future. I can't say enough good stuff about this place.

The team at Dwayne’s automotive are honest and trustworthy and do great work. I had an AC leak and another local shop wouldn’t fix the leak and demanded to replace the entire ac system. These guys replaced just the leaking compressor and ac valve core for 1/10th of the cost and my AC is working better than ever. Would definitely recommend these guys!

I had a miss on a V-10 and they found the cylinder, replaced the plug and coil and charged 320. They're very friendly and easy to talk to.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. I took my car in last month for a sound my car was making. My car was in and out of the shop for almost a full month (seriously the slowest mechanics in the Galveston county). I went in with no engine light on and left with 3 of them on and they charged me $800 for it. Turns out they installed pieces from for a different vehicle on my car and could have caused a major accident. Don’t waste your time at this place. They honestly have no idea what they are doing.

This is the first time I took my car there which was highly recommended to me. Excellent service with integrity! The staff is very kind and considerate.

The guys there are absolutely amazing! Called Friday at the end of business, set me up with an appointment first thing Monday morning. I had a check engine light on and a few other worries. They got my SUV back to me by just after lunch the next day! Came and picked me up so I didn't have to worry about stressing a ride. Overall just the best, most professional and great group of guys!! Keep local folks and go see them for your car needs!

Dwayne's Automotive I would highly recommend Dwayne’s Automotive . They have been keeping my 2005 Aveo safety on the road for about 12 years now. And I couldn’t be happier. This is a family owned business and all of them are honest and stand behind their work. The family and the employees have gone above and beyond to help me on many occasions. I consider everyone at Dwayne’s not just my auto mechanics, but my friends.

They had my car for 2 days just to have the front end checked and never heard from them. I would not recommend this place unless you are not in a hurry. Changed my review. I got a call from the owner with sincere apologies on the delay. He is a great guy, said he will do what ever to make it right. I have never got a call from an owner before. I will be taking it back to have it checked again.

They fix all of my older model cars. These guys are like family to me! Damon is a good GUY! He's not greedy and I trust whatever he says. If it's not right, they'll get it right. TRUST is hard to find in mechanic shops. YOU can TRUST Dwaynes Auto!💯

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst mechanic service I have ever had. Thought by reading reviews that I chose a great shop, I was wrong. They had my car for 2 days & then told me nothing but wheel bearings were needing replacement. When I know for a fact I have like 4 other things wrong with it. They failed to contact me for 2 days, I had to continue to call them just to get anything done. Then I asked for the owner so I could speak to him. They wouldn’t let me or even give me a phone number to speak to him. I would never recommend this place.

Initially we were very dissatisfied with the result of service at Dwayne's Auto. We took our SUV in for a loose steering assembly and had to wait a while for repairs. We picked up our vehicle and the issue remained. Once Dwayne the owner became aware of our dissatisfaction, he asked us to bring the car back and HE would personally assess the vehicle. I appreciated his commitment to resolve the issue and he DID. We are now content with the outcome and have a much higher level of confidence in the integrity of his business.

My truck had been sitting for two years due to my having been gone moving blades to Wind Farms, and the front brake calipers had locked up. Dropped the truck off and they took care of the problem at a VERY reasonable price. My "Go To" repair shop from now on!

Dwayne is a great guy and his team did a wonderful job. Had struts, shocks, and upper and lower ball joints replaced. Got me in and out in one day. Plan on using him again soon.

Dwayne can identify most problems with a simple test drive. On top of being friendly, he charges fair prices for parts and labor and took my needs for my job into account. I refer to him as "my mechanic" from now on.

Great job and super friendly. They ordered the tire I needed and had it the same day, fixed and back on the road. I can see why they have customers come from far away just for their service!

My family and I have been getting our vehicles fixed here for years. They are very honest and will not over charge you like the dealerships do. They also warranty their parts and labor which is another plus. Every time I’ve dropped my vehicle off, I’ve got it back within a day or two. If you’re looking for great service from honest people Dwayne’s Automotive is the place to go!

I was very pleased with my experience here. My check engine light was on and they found the problem and fixed it the same day. Damien was very nice and professional. I highly recommend going here if you're having problems with your car.

This is one of the friendliest and fastest mechai have ever used. The first time they inspected my car it didn't pass. They didn't harge me when it failed and. And when I came back it took no time at all before he came back with my car and it was cheaper than I expected. This will definitely be my go to mechanic from now on.

Took my truck in, said I needed a diagnostic, an oil change, and a fluids check. They had my truck from 8am to 4pm and charged me $95 but all they did was put an OBD2 scanner on it and tell me what codes popped up. I could’ve gotten that for FREE at Oreillys. They couldn’t produce any sort of diagnostic results whatsoever. They didn’t do an oil change or a fluids check at all. When asked what had been done, he said he was getting prices on fixing the codes that popped up, which is not what I asked for. They’ll never see my vehicles again and I’ll do my best to send everyone I talk to over to Rudy’s which is just a few minutes down 6.

We helped some friends get their 2018 travel trailer state inspected. We found that Dwaynes offered this service rater than having to drive into Houston. The staff was courteous and had the inspection done thoroughly and quickly. I would call ahead but was told as long as they're open they will do inspections. They also do automotive mechanics and they're shop and floor was clean. Which I appreciate when getting a vehicle worked on.

Had brake work done on my 2014 Chevy pickup. Reasonable price and good work. This was my first time to get service done at Dwayne's Automotive and they treated me like a regular customer.

There are some things in life that are hard to find, and an honest reliable mechanic is one of them. My uncle was a mechanic his entire life and when he passed away, I quickly realized what a struggle it was to find someone who was as good as he was. Not only great at fixing cars, but someone who had an honest soul and a genuine smile, and love for life. I found all of those things at Dwayne’s Automotive. The guys in the shop treated us like they had known us our entire lives. It was obvious that they care about the customers. Our repair work was quick and affordable. Thank you Dwayne and staff. I don’t hope to see you too often, but I’m glad we have someone great to go to when our vehicles go crazy.

Top notch service (of both the mechanical and customer variety!) Dwayne and his sons were absolutely wonderful, their service is fast and friendly, their prices are beyond reasonable, and most importantly (to me) they didn't try to scam or scare me into paying for stuff I didn't need. Dwayne's Automotive came highly recommended and did not disappoint! They have earned my loyalty from here on out, could not be happier with my experience!

I have 07 avalon and my abs module broke, after trying different shops and got different solutions and prices we found this shop and what a great experience we had with Dwayne!!! We called on Tuesday and got car in in few hours, place is clean, stuff is very professional and knowledgeable! Dwayne said to give him a day and in exactly one day i was driving off with repaired car!!! Price was great too!!! They also check on coolant and other things that needed to be check! They definitely gained us as new customers!

Great place! Very fair pricing. Friendly people! It is a family business the father and son are both great and do honest work. They have always worked with me on fixing my vehicles new and old. It is the only place I’ve recommended for repairs.

Dwayne stopped what he was doing to look at our RV while we were traveling through the area. He spent a good amount of his time trying to help us on a busy day. He wasn’t able to do any repairs but he was kind enough to give us his time and knowledge and he wouldn’t accept payment for his help. Our thanks to you a kind generous good person.
