Michelle helped my son who broke down right across the street. He came in asking for a phone number to a tow truck company in the area and an auto repair place referral. Instead of just giving him phone numbers, Michelle took the time to ask him questions about what was going on. She actually had her driver go across the street with a scanner and battery tester. His battery tested bad and I was able to pay over the phone for it and they installed it across the street. That is going above and beyond. Great Customer Service! Thank you Michelle. No tow truck fee or shop diagnostic and repair bill fees!!
MAJOR SHOUT OUT TO STEVEN!! After a nice neighbour gave me a charge, I immediately drove to Advance Auto Parts, and when I walked in stating that I needed a new car battery, Steven already knew what battery type I needed by just looking at my SUV. He also helped me by changing out the battery. I wasn't there for no more than 15 minutes total and was still able to make it to my doctor appointment. Thank you for making my day, Steven!

Reese was so amazing today helping me figure out everything I needed. He had so much knowledge and I will 100% go back to this location. I left the location I started at in Baytown with car trouble on my son's and went back to Friendswood after giving up. I spoke to him on the phone while I was driving and he narrowed down the issues I was having before I ever arrived. I raced to make it the rest of the way back before closing just to make sure I caught him. He helped me with my son's car and then ended up helping me with my own car when I mentioned a few issues that I thought I would have to take my car to a shop for.....so he solved multiple issues with 2 cars for me in one evening. I'm going back to him first from now on.

Awesome service! Steven helped me find the right windshield wipers for my car and even found some on sale that saved me $8. After the transaction, he installed them on my car, which I was not expecting! The entire experience from driving into the lot and driving out took about 5 minutes. Incredible! You can tell he really gets along with his employees well and creates a great atmosphere, which I also really appreciate!
I needed a warranty replacement battery for my car. Roslyn and Andrew went above and beyond and went to another branch to get the battery cause they dont have it in their store. They put it in for me while i waited. Excellent Customer Service. Highly recommended them.
Bought a part that did not come with certain hardware that was needed to complete the job. Went to a couple other stores and it was missing also. Was told from other stores that it just didn't come with it. I called and talked with Steven James, he tracked the part down to the hub and the hardware was in there, He had it to me in an hour! Not only did he take on the task but made it right in no time at all. Your motto is "Service is our best part" but Mr. James Took the motto and stood on it! Showing Honesty and Integrity being incorporated into his job every day! Advanced Auto, you have a Super General Manager at this location that goes above and beyond to get the job done. I'm in the Rosharon area and will gladly drive to see Mr. James anytime I need parts. Very satisfied customer!
I bought a new battery from them to use in a gas golf cart. We used it 3 times and the battery crapped out. I took it back to swap it out and the staff told me that I was 6 weeks outside the 1 year warranty and that I bought a cheap battery. I told him it was $150 for a battery that can be only used 3 times ? He’s answer was well you’re out of luck and proceeded to try to sell me another one. Will never go back to this place. Next time I will drive the extra mile to go auto zone where I never had an inferior product like they sell there. Stay away from this place and Dir Hard batteries !waste of time and money

While they have a nice selection and helpful crew, they have some very poor policies. I went in and had to special order windshield wiper blades because they didn't have them in stock. They requires prepayment to include shipping. No problem. However, they couldn't get the part and then refused to refund my shipping charges and would only refund the cost of the part.
I won't return. Very dishonest policies.
Love my Advanced Auto! I needed a new starter for my car, called around and they had the part in stock. It was 5 minutes before closing and I was 20 minutes away. The salesman said "no worries I'll have the starter ready and I'll open the door for you when you get here". Awesome customer service. They are always so helpful to me.
