Walked into store asked employee for a headlight for a 2019 Honda civic the employee proceeded to sell me the wrong product once I tried to install the headlight it became stuck and broke once I tried to remove it, now due to the employees lack of understanding I will be having to come out probably over $150 to get my wires and installment piece fixed
Called to ask if they had a part for a trailer on the shelf and was told I could come in and look and see if it’s there. I told them I’m 30 min away from that store and he said he can’t leave the front desk so he can’t go look that I would need to drive 30 min to see if it’s there
Amy is that Gal! She helps out anyway she can to get your job done! I usually use the “Oreilly Pro” side of things so I cannot say how good the front counter is unfortunately
Very very BAD customer service. If I could leave ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! The 2 women up front have very very bad attitudes & look like they hate their life. You've got one who is "allegedly" the manager but she can't shut up long enough to help her stressed out co worker, & when you call to report to the manager, she gets all defensive & rude instead of just admitting her fault. Yall definitely need help at this location & it shows. I'm taking this above the managers head. Because this is not how you handle things. 2nd off the lady who checked me out tried to tell me id have to buy a whole new HL assembly when all I needed was a BULB, So idfk what kinda stuff yall got going on but that's not it. DO BETTER.

I really love this auto parts store. The elderly gentleman that works there went out of his way to assist me and was pleasant and kind despite my lack of knowledge.
I called about a warranty on a battery for my car and the battery is super expensive around $250 and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and he assisted to look up the battery number before I brought it in and informed me that I didn't have a warranty on it and they would just have to test the battery. I brought the battery in everybody there was very nice they tested it the battery was bad and they replaced it gave me a new one so all in all I would say it was a very good trip and I have visited the store several times in the past and it's always good service.
Just to state, I couldn't care less about $10. At all. Brought in some motorcycle batteries today and was told that there is no $10 core charge credit with recycling them. No problem, as I wasn't expecting it anyway. Got home and found the receipt for the new motorcycle battery that I had bought from them at the end of August, With a $10 core charge added on. So either the employee that wrung me up then, was wrong to charge me, or the employee today lied and should have refunded me the $10 core charge that I paid. Either way, I personally don't care, but I figured others may want to know that they'll charge you core charges, take your money, and never refund the core charge. Over the years, Advanced Auto Parts is passing them as my favorite Auto store. Drive the extra distance.
Many staff seem to lack general automotive experience or desire to help you out. Without their computers there would be no reason for me as a customer to walk in door. But they do sell WIX oil filters and that’s the plus.
Never again no one in the store everyone out back smoking!! Who knows!! The one gentleman helping decides to answer the phone and spend 10 minutes helping a gentleman order a part. I picked up the battery for my mothers vehicle and walked out. I'll take my money and time were I'm not just a person. We help pay your salaries, hourly wages treat us as consumers!! Poor job O'Reilly lost a lifetime customer!!
This review is 4 years after my service. Had my car battery go out on me today, and I had Triple A come out and replace it. The first thing he asked was where I got my battery from because it was too small for my car. He was surprised it lasted as long as it did. I know 4 years is the average life for a car battery but selling me a smaller battery than what my car needed is a shady practice. I hope they are still not doing this.
It's a great place for parks and the guys are really helpful as long as you've got a little time on your hand but they will help well me is a woman they help me put parts on my truck and windshield wipers headlights taillights for me but no questions asked thanks guys in Pearland
Been dealing with O'Reilly's since I was a kid handing wrenches to my dad. They seem more knowledgeable than some of the discount auto stores. I feel like they have better quality parts as well. You may get a lifetime warranty with the other guys, but you'll be using that warranty for a lifetime.
Great service from Joe behind the counter and a woman whose name I did not get. Other employees not so helpful, have that go find it yourself attitude. Overall, a good experience.
Can't say enough good things about these guys in Friendswood especially Stacey and Joe. I feel like I'm part of the family there. I walk in and they say hello Chris and treat me like they knew me forever. Prices are fair, bc and they are always ready to help me solve individual problems with my older 1990 Pontiac Firebird!! Thank you guys!!
I had come in for a simple part they had and an older gentleman was at the register. The man wasn't friendly at all. And on top of that he was rude and judgemental. I'm hoping maybe he was just having a bad day.
I've used this store for a number of years and found them to always be professional, polite and carry a good quality product at a reasonable price. Joe has been particularly helpful as I tackled a repair I was unfamiliar with. Great store with great people!
