Fantastic art works with those artists. They are wonderfully creative and friendly. Cash/debit/credit cards are available. I am suggesting this place could put the sign by the road edge so we can find and drive turn to enter the area.
I can't say enough wonderful things about The French Corner! Armando and Yves curate the most lovely furnishings and decor items... I came back days later after traveling home to Austin, making a special trip to pick up some pieces I just couldn't stop thinking about! They were wonderful to work with, generous with their time, and I look forward to seeing them again in the Fall... What a wonderful way to experience Round Top!

I was recently at the Round Top antique show. I was particularly impressed by the French Corner merchant. Everything was beautiful displayed with great taste, with beautiful things from all over Europe . The entire booth was very pretty!!..The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, not only by selling their things, but by offering suggestions and decor ideas. By far, the best of the show ! I highly recommend to stop and visit them !
This place is amazing!! My favorite place there is The French Corner. The owners Armando and Yves are so kind and helpful and make you feel like family. The antiques they have are so unique and high quality. I highly recommend seeking their place out when you go. You will NOT be disappointed!! I certainly wasn’t and will continue to stop by and shop there every chance I get.
This may be a great place - it looks beautiful in the pictures - but beware that the Antiques of Dallas sellers, who operate from here, use an unprofessional shipping team that possibly damaged (or Antiques of Dallas hid the damage in their photos) a $4000+ dresser I purchased and no responsibility was taken by either party. The 140 year old dresser arrived pretty much "floating" and unsecured in the back of a rickety van. Horrible experience that I don't wish on anyone else.
We went to the Compound for their annual 4th of July celebration . The entire event was so much fun. The grounds of The Compound are absolutely beautiful. We will be back next year!!
We went to the compound for Round Top's spring antique show. First of all, entrance was free which is fantastic. Second of all, they had some of the nicest furniture pieces of any of the places we went. Hats off to the compound. The courtyards are beautiful and the pathways are relaxing.
The Compound was beautiful! Lots of one of a kind antiques. Large selection & indoors with restrooms! Took a couple of photos of M Fowler Antiques Booth in The Fickle Barn. Great French furniture & accessories.
Went off season antiquing looking for some particular items - dresser and doors - and were fortunate to come across Mary at Fickle. Mary is AMAZING! She has what you need or can source what you need. Incredibly kind and helpful.
Clean, beautiful, great venue. Indoor, air conditioned bathrooms. During antique show, Food and drink onsight. Live music. Great vendors, owners are top notch!
One of the premier stops during the antique show - food trucks on site, clean/organized and very friendly people. Bought many items from their vendors over the years - never an issue.
The White Barn at The Compound is amazing! French vintage jewelry, custom made lamps, Swedish, English, French Antiques, fine art and carefully curated mid century pieces, large scale architectural pieces make this a one stop shop for the “in the know” designers. By appointment or join the crowds during the Fall or Spring Show, just be sure you don’t miss the CHAMPAGNE VENDING MACHINE!!
Beautiful venue with a cool variety of vendors. IMO, more high end and not as widely attainable. Good MCM vendor and rug vendor with a beautiful selection.
Great place! We visited Friday 3.26.2021. I went specifically there to get a Thunderbird hat. I also enjoyed walking thru the other shops! Nice, clean layout. Friendly sellers and clean areas!
We went here for the 4th of July festivities. The place is huge! So many different buildings to hold different venues. Outside is so well kept and beautiful.
Vendors more interested in their phones and tablets than chatting up customers. Did not buy anything here but spent lots of money at Market Hill. Will not visit here again
