1st time Wegman shopper and pleasantly surprised at the great variety. I'll definitely stop in when nearby. Lots of options and great quantities. Price is in line with what you would get from Trader Joe's or Aldi for the most part, at least based on the purchases I made. If I had more time I would have explored more of the warehouse sized grocery store...most grocery stores are a fraction of the size.

Ruined by hoards of instacart shoppers frantically dashing around everywhere creating a less than pleasant atmosphere and limited or no stock in many places. Meat and cheese selection was solid and I’ve given a star back to them in my review score for the cart wipes at the entrance. Clean throughout the whole store, so credit where it’s due.

This cake is rarely in stock nowadays. I've been told many different things from: it's not made on site, it is made on site, no it's only assembled on site after its baked from a 3rd party, no we've never made/ never sold gluten-free cake, we only have cakes made of gluten, one woman said she only bakes gluten-free cakes before 4 pm, and much more. I hope the team leader sees that the cake is on shelves in the Bakery Section; despite contradictions highlighted above. I want to note that William has been very professional, helpful, and a great worker in the Bakery Section. He's why I went through the proper channels to discuss this issue prior to making this post. However, I am writing this because I have a gluten allergy and could be hospitalized if the gluten-free cakes are gluten; despite the advertising sticker that claims otherwise.

Great grocery store and convenient pit stop along the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway. Love the “Emerging Beverage” aisle.

Shopping here is amazing. Not only I was able to enjoy great customer service, but I met with a caring spirit. Being over 50 and unable to carry a lot, I always have a bit of an issue grocery shopping. With my ability to lift and load is very limited. However, I was greeted by a young man who offered his help in making sure that I am ok. Ian was very helpful, quick and courteous in my shopping experience. He loaded my car, thank me for shopping and continued to pickup more carts. All with a big smile, I can see that his heart was in the right place. Thank you Ian for rescuing me.

The best local option for food shopping by far. The choice is fantastic, there are many items within each category to choose from, and lots of amazing surprises too - the live lobster tank, dry aged beef cuts, the oyster selection, to name a few. Love it here. You also get a great selection of food to go - there's an Asian bar, wings and fries, soups, sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot chicken, sushi, and ready meals. You can take it upstairs and sit in Comfort to eat, too - the seating area is large and there's sofas as well as proper dining tables. Cutlery is downstairs, sauces and napkins upstairs, as well as toilets

Well I can certainly say that the food here is good. People say about the crowds but only if you come at like the busiest hours of the day. When you come at like 7 30 pm then you have literally no problem getting around. The food is kind of pricy and the sushi is delicious but very expensive. I think best to lower the price a bit as many people would like to buy the food but it is just too expensive for them. Also what disappoints me is that the refrigerator was broken and has not been fixed for 1 week still.

Although the store is well stocked and has many items - it has the rudest staff ever. I would not shop here if you need any assistance or to ask questions

I'm always shopping here. Plenty of selections, not really much to talk about. Desserts are too sweet for me. I used to enjoy myself with too many sweets during the pandemic. The veggies are my favorite section. I wish they had more Asian veggies like bitter melon. Persimmons, I guess that's never going to happen, lol.

The prices are lower than other supermarkets. The food appears to be fresher. However, I think because if their lower prices they do not offer a senior discount. But, we seniors need all the help we can get.

Solid grocery store. Parking for the damn cars, not so much for bikes, but at least a little. These days, it feels like they’re an instacart delivery subsidiary- like half the customers are buying for delivery to others. But whatever. Meet and cheese selections are good, seafood is adequate, fresh bread is good. Prices, overall, are not low, but also not has high as many others, and quality overall is consistently high, so it’s my go-to when I can’t get it at Mr Cocos. Just wish we had something like the old Fairway on Red Hook- that was the best supermarket I’ve ever been to on the East Coast (obvs no comparison w/ Northern California, sorry- just truth.)

Great grocery store but a lot of it is overpriced, especially the prepared foods. But it has a nice layout. It’s very large and spacious aisles. The location is just out of the way if you don’t have a car.

It’s great, particularly for their branded teas, cheese, fish, rotisserie chicken. They also make nice sushi. Their bakery has a nice selection. They have flowers but that is hit or miss. I went there the other day hoping to get flowers and they were not fresh. My big problem with them has nothing to do with the store, but getting there. It was easy least when I had a car, thanks to the huge parking lot but public transportation there (B69) is pretty awful. The 69 bus is a roll of the dice on weekends. I think they should lobby the city for better bus service. It would increase their business.

Can't find anything after they moved everything around a few weeks ago. Music is now much more annoying too. So I buy less here and more at Trader Joe's and the new Lidl. Still come here for the milk, best quality in town.

Wegmans, you and your bakery team count your days. I had purchased donuts from your store on two occasions, Jelly filled and boston cream. On both occasions neither of them had any filling. Not once, but twice I been had. Management in bakery need to get on it and correct such a simple problem. I pay for good quality donuts. If I want trash I would just go to Dunkin Donuts.

My only complaint is that there is only 1 location-based in NY so far. I took a train & bus just to come to Brooklyn navyyard and shop at this place. It's clean, spacious with amazing prices especially on seafood. Also have a huge plant base section of that is your vibe. Plus if you drive there is a huge and I do mean Huge parking lot. There is also a water taxi near by. A small outdoor seating spot. Now the sushi could be better! The rice is too soft and makes the roll to fall apart. Excellent selection of prepared cooked foods as well. A decent beer selection & tasty bakery. I purchased a month worth of groceries and took a cab home.

Wegman's at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We stopped in after stopping into the new location on ST Marks place in Manhattan. Since there is much more space in Brooklyn, this location is much bigger than the Manhattan location, lots of good quality stock and their bakery and dessert area is much larger than the Manhattan location.

Waited a few days and went early to get a look and do some shopping. As to be expected, the store is immaculate, everything is picture perfect. Staff was helpful and warm (hopefully this continues, it's one of my biggest factors in returning to a grocery store.) lots of product including plenty of organic, gluten free & vegan. HUGE space, felt like a suburban grocery store. Prices were competitive, looking forward to trying some of the food from the burger bar and other options cooked on site! Definitely worth a visit.

The Wegmans store is a beautiful one everything is put out very nicely and it's a pleasure to go in there and to see it however they are not cheap as they portray themselves. In fact they are expensive if it's not on sale then it's not cheap they are a cross between a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe's however Trader Joe's has a lot better prices. Being a kosher consumer and the store being in a Jewish neighborhood I expected to find more kosher products however it was very limited ShopRite and Trader Joe's has way more kosher products than they do. It was an experience which we enjoyed my wife and I but we will not be going back there because it doesn't pay to make the trip. I must note that their staff are very helpful and courteous.

Wegmans in Brooklyn: more proof that Brooklyn is the superior borough. The store is massive with oodles of parking. Free parking! Packed with all the wonderful items you would find at a Wegmans out in the ‘burbs plus a few local specialty items. The seating area has partitions to keep diners (and employees) safe- something not available at other locations. If you are not familiar with Wegmans, here the scoop: it has pretty much everything any supermarket would have but much more. Flowers, alcohol, hot fresh pizza, custom-made sandwiches, sushi, vitamins, and a bakery with some of the best baked goods you will ever find in a supermarket, or anywhere.

Pretty nice wegmans, very big and open. With also good prices compared to other grocery store that look to be at the same caliber. Friendly staff like usual if you've gone to a wegmans before. Bathroom is on the 2nd floor with the sitting area.

This used to be a great grocery store but over the past 2yrs there’s been a noticeable drop off in the quality of the staff. Today (4/12) my checkout experience was bad enough that I’m compelled to write a review Our check out person (Kayla) wouldn’t bag our groceries because we brought our own bags, was having an inappropriate conversation about her boss with her colleague at the next register (calling them mentally disabled), and was literally throwing our items on the bagging station behind her, where I was bagging my own groceries. If all of that wasn’t bad enough, when it came time to ring up our drinks under the cart, she scanned 2 of them and then turned to my 7 month pregnant wife (very obviously showing) and told her she needed to turn the other drinks over to show her the barcodes and she was upset/aggressive when my wife said she couldn’t do it. The level of rudeness and lack of care showed in this instance was our breaking point. We will no longer make the trek to this instacart Mecca of a store with horrible staff.

Best grocery store! Parking lot is like in the suburbs, you just pull right up! Wegmans has the best selection of grocery items. This is a smaller Wegmans than outside of NYC but it’s huge for the city and so worth the drive!

Went to school in Buffalo NY, first time going to wegmans after moving back to NYC! They still have the fruits that is always fresh! Found Rainier cherries over the weekend, can’t found better quality than wegmans! Also their sushi using fresh ingredients too! Bought the beautiful sunflower too! Love it, worth paying extra to shop here!

Wow wow wow! I'm so impressed with this super duper market. First off, it's huge. Prices ranged from budget friendly products to expensive specialty items. I was able to find things for every conceivably dietary need. And lot of great fully cooked chef quality prepared meals and ingredients. The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. Decent amount of parking. And the checkout was painless. I will definitely shop here again.

Went on opening day it’s a great place to shop for everyone. Expect large crowds at least for a couple of weeks. I noticed they have such a large selection of gluten free and other items that I feel, someone with different dietary needs may be able to find. It was wonderful to see Danny Wegman himself meeting and greeting customers. There is so much variety with different types of fruits/veggies and items it’s definitely an experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see Wegmans giving reusable bags to people for their groceries. Everything was fresh, from the baked goods to the sushi and the delicious burger and pizza bar. I am really excited that Wegmans came to Brooklyn. Looking forward to coming here again.

Pretty good store - not as large as the NJ/ Upstate locations but NYC is lucky to have one. Nice selection of produce, prepared food and bakery items. Their seafood and meat department was very good compared to other NYC supermarkets. There was plenty of courteous and helpful staff around. They still have a great selection of plants and flowers. I think their prepared fruit section has a nice variety of sliced fruits - if you don't like to buy whole e.g. pineapples, melons etc. I love that even when it is busy you don't have to wait long at checkout.... Busy on weekends but you can get around and shop comfortably. FYI- they also have a pretty good selection if plants and flowers for all occasions

Very trendy. Food is very fresh. Prices are okay. Lots of variety including cheeses, seafood, baked goods. Great atmosphere. Workers were all friendly. Bathrooms are upstairs. Lots of free samples. Floors could be cleaner. Red bananas, from all over the world. Check out lines should have been made wider.

It's a nice store and they have a lot of variety, but it's crazy expensive. The classic burger and the maple onion burger were fantastic, although the fried chicken sandwich was just average. I will probably shop here for special occasions or if I want to pick up some prepared food, but the prices were way too high for daily shopping.

Approximately 9:35am on June 23,2025 I was at checkout with a cashier. I told the cashier I will bag the items myself. She said ok. I had alot of items. I put some items on belt and the cashier scan some items. I still had items in shopping cart. I was bagging other items that was scanned to get it out the way. One employee upfront came to me and said, Ms you holding up the line and you still have items in cart! I said I know that one thing at a time I can't speed. I have to take my time. The employee upfront roll her eyes an yelled at me you holding the line up. I said ok it's one person have some patience. Then another employee named Casandra came to me and said you have those items in the back of cart. I said I know the other items I just put on belt I'm bagging those first. I said , yall keep rushing me and I have to take my time. I said if you have a problem put them on the belt your self since you want it done so fast. Cassandra stand there looking at me mean. I felt harass and rush. I shouldn't have to explained my health issue. It is only a very few of employees that know my health issue because they help me bag the items after I had surgery. My right hand was reattach to my right arm. I have screws and plates at right wrist which holds my hand to my arm. Although I do not had 100% strength on right hand. But, I still work, and do my daily activities with kids. I put more weight on my left hand. An try not to do much on my right hand. Sometimes I wear my soft brace on right hand but my doctor said don't wear it all the time because I have to flex my hand more. I'm very disappointed how I was treated and didn't expect it from them. Or any of them. I felt so harass and rush to do things at they speed..
