Would not tow unless I remove the driveline. Wanted $600.00 to go 3 miles. Must have known I was in the dire situation and try to take advantage of me.
Called them to tow a rv and was told they could be there in 45 minutes. I was originally quoted $900 to bring a rv from Odessa to Lamesa and was told they charged by mile. Then the boss called back and said it was a $150 fee to disconnect a driveshaft which I then agreed to. I waited at the location of the rv in 106 degree heat for 2 hours and 45 minutes for the driver to finally arrive. I was told the reason he was so late was they had payment issues with the last person and he was getting fuel. I ask the driver if everything is good and he says yes he’s about to take head towards Lamesa so I went ahead and drove to the destination point. The driver finally showed up and I had payment ready. The boss once again called saying it would be an extra $500 because his driver spent 2 hours driving 80 miles and took over 2 hours to get to the location (which originally was told 45 minutes). He also told me he would have to have me text a picture of my drivers license and a picture of the back and front of my credit card to his cell phone. I did not feel comfortable with this after having multiple surprise charges added to my bill and proceeded to pay in cash. I was then told that they do not give receipts and refused to write the receipt in my business name, I was eventually sent one to my cell phone after I called the police because of everything that was happening from the surprise price increases to telling me to send pictures of my credit card and drivers license to not wanting to give a receipt it most definitely felt like a scam or making yourself vulnerable to identity fraud. Deceptive practices are being used at this business use caution when having your vehicle towed. Ask for a quote in writing or text to solidify doing any deal with this company so you may use that as proof in court if necessary.
