Had a hellish experience trying to fix a blow out tire. Ida and Raul did a great job and were patient when helping to tow me to Discount Tire. Use these guys if you need a tow!

I didn't have a tow I had a impound from a roll over car wreck Ida and everyone I talked to treated me as a friend. helped tremendously helping me load my mangled car rolled over all the wheels pointing different directions. Never in my life have dealt with a tow service like this, and I work on jaguars they get towed a lot.great family business.

I had my ford f250 stop on me and got a call back from Akers after leaving a message and could not be happier with the service and respect I received throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend Akers towing to anyone.

Mr. Joe and his staff was very nice and straightforward (which I admire). There was an issue with my dolley handle and landing gear. Mr. Joe had an injury to his hip, so he is limited to working on certain situations. He had told me certain issue on my trailer and I need to take it to my truck terminal.

Can't recommend them enough! Incredibly courteous, prompt and affordable. Having your car towed due to mechanical reasons is stressful and typically not an enjoyable experience. They made it stress free and dare I say, enjoyable. If any of my family or friends are ever in a similar situation, I'll tell them to make one phone call and not even consider any other alternative. Showed up as promised. The man was quick and knew his job. Even was given an update by driver after job was completed. I feel my driver went above and beyond.

These are literally some of the kindest people I have ever met in my entire life. My car started messing up on the way to my friend's birthday party, and I was stranded on the side of the road. After trying to fix the problem, and honestly making it worse, I gave Aker's a call to get a tow home. A very sweet lady (I just realize I never got her name!) came to my location, and asked what was going on. This is when she realized oil was coming out of my exhaust. Long story short, she went out of her way to help see what was going on and offered to take my car to their shop. They drained my oil, replaced the oil with a new filter, and even put gas in my car because I was low. She and the gentlemen there saved me and my car (literally in the middle of the night). On top of all of this, they didn't charge me a cent, not even for the tow. Also - they help take care of a variety of animals, and my friend and I got to meet a few of their kittens! Angels do exist. Thank you so much for everything, I will never forget the kindness you guys showed us. 100% recommend giving them a call, supporting their business, and petting the kittens! Truly a people oriented local business <3

Can't speak highly enough about this company. I had a tire blow out on 35 in Denton, where the median was just wide enough to fit my (4 day old) car and cars were blowing by; felt unsafe. Akers answered on the first call, and the truck was on site in 20 minutes. The driver was courteous and professional, and explained the towing process and billing before we met, so I could make an informed decision. Fantastic service all around. If you need a tow, call Akers first.

My daughter was in an accident where the car should have been able to start but wouldn't. Called to get a tow and before coming to tow he told me to check to see if my vehicle had an intetia switch that might have been set off that killed the fuel to the engine that could be reset. I love that he tried to help before towing. Unfortunately my vehicle didn't have one and a tow was needed. The service was prompt and quick loading up. The driver was very friendly and even offered a ride home since it was close. Prices are extremely reasonable. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Will always use in the future.

This company is absolutely amazing, my car broke down due to a head gasket blow and water getting into my oil. I had already had another tow company that cancelled on me after a two hour wait. It was about 11:30pm-12am. It was late at night, freezing cold, dark and I’m pregnant and super stressed out and Akers showed up in 20m as they said they would! The gentleman was super kind, respectful and understanding. He helped calm me down and handled everything for me. I believe the name of the tow driver was Ruben, please forgive me if that’s the incorrect name. He towed my car from denton to my home safely. Literally the best experience I could’ve had from a tow company and grateful for them! He made the whole process so easy, fast and explained the payment and paperwork upfront. I highly recommend Akers to anyone in need of a tow!

No nonsense guys. I called, they came, and my problem was solved at a fair price. The gentleman who towed my vehicle was polite and knew what he was doing. He was able to manually shift my car into neutral since my battery was dead, which was impressive to me. I will use this service again, but hopefully I won't have to!

My engine stopped running all of a sudden, I called and was answered almost instantly. When Gene arrived he was very helpful and loaded my car with ease. My questions were answered, Gene was very patient and dropped off my car at home. 5 star service!

Somehow my friends car got towed but we still had a pretty positive experience. The man on the phone when you call starts out acting like he has a problem with you. I had to explain the situation to him about five times about a mis-charge on my account just for him to tell me it was my problem. He also told couldn't answer any questions about location or anything over the phone he just told me I had to go. But when we went in to get the car the lady working the front was a breath of fresh air compared to most. She was very nice in explaining the situation, she was helpful in getting our car back, and she was overall a good conversation in a bad situation. My family has several businesses in the Denton area and apart from the initial completely unhelpful answering service, I would completely recommend them.

We were driving back to Oklahoma City on a Sunday night, when our vehicle’s transmission went out in Denton, Texas. Our tow truck driver Ruben answered the phone immediately and was prompt and courteous. He arrived within 20 minutes to tow our vehicle to the transmission repair shop and drop us off at a nearby hotel, so that we could stay the evening. The service was great and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Akers Towing.
