Had to keep my truck overnight, didn't get notified the next day about the status so had to call in. Said I had to take it to a different place for what needed to be fixed. Gave a free diagnostic though which was nice
We cannot say enough good things about Lambert’s Automotive. As elderly people from South Africa, we found ourselves in a very difficult situation where other automotive companies were trying to take advantage of us by charging extremely high prices for repairs. Thankfully, we were referred to Lambert’s Automotive, and it truly felt like a blessing.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, honesty, and genuine compassion. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never pressured us, and repaired our vehicle for nearly a quarter of the price we had been quoted elsewhere.
It is rare these days to find people with such integrity and genuine care for their customers. It is easy to understand why so many people speak so highly of them for their honesty, fair pricing, and outstanding service. We are deeply grateful for the help and respect they showed us during such a stressful time.

Used this mechanic many times in the last 30 years. They don’t know me personally, but as a 40 year+ rowlett resident they have always been here. Twice I’ve been there with a fixed car in the last 20 years and not had to pay them. They knew a simple fix and offered to charge to fix it or showed me a simple fix for free. Who does that? I work with with mechanics for a living and find these guys to be straightforward and knowledgeable. I have the ability to compare with industry standards and I don’t ever feel taken advantage of or overcharged. Highly recommended!
This is my 2nd time bringing my vehicle to Lambert’s! The first time he fixed my air conditioner because it was not blowing cool at all! Price for the repairs was unbeatable! This time I was told I had an oil leak else where, which ended up NOT being the case , but Mr. Chris found another issue that NEEDED to be corrected. My axles were in pretty bad shape. My car was driving extremely rough! Thanks to Mr. Chris he probably saved me and my children from an accident happening later on down the line! And now my car drives so smooth, almost like it’s a brand new car! Lambert’s is dependable and affordable! Communicative and superior customer service, I will be back for any & all future repairs! Thanks again!!

I had a " ghost" issue with my truck engine overheating. Chris was able to find and fix it and charged me a very fair price. Lamberts was recommended to me and now I recommend them to you.

Lambert's Automotive continues to be a blessing to us! The owner stayed late to wait for one of our cars to be dropped off by a tow truck! In addition, even though they have been extremely busy, they still evaluated the issues with our vehicle within 24 hours of it being towed there and, as always, quoted a reasonable and affordable price for the repairs to be done. If you are anywhere near Rowlett and you want to deal with an automotive repair shop you can trust who deal honestly with and sincerely care about their customers, there is no other option than Lambert’s Automotive!
Honest work done at a good cost.....we bring all of our cars to Lamberts, family of 5.......they stand behind their work and only use quality parts for repair ....I only trust Lamberts and I am happy they are in Rowlett. ..choose this company over any expensive dealership

Awful because I was almost charged $210 for some spark plugs which are about $10 I forgot I even reviewed yall on here but my experience was not good because they seemed to know nothing about my car the front man at the desk was super nice he even helped try and review what could be wrong but he seemed to not be sure of anything and for a place to charge as much as they do they should know a bit more they have worked on my boyfriend car but charged a ton but I know other people who have told me don't ever go there again there robbing you my experience wasn't good they simply wanted me to pay for something but the customer service was great didn't mean to point fingers hopefully yall have better experience and don't pay to much.
Super great place for car repair. They let you know exactly what is wrong with the vehicle and the pricing is very fair. They had my vehicle in and out within the day.
They do good job repairing cars. If they can fix, they'll tell you. If they cannot fix it, they'll be honest with you and will not try to make you pay for something they did not do. Their labor/parts costs are very reasonable, no upsell, no "your car needs this, your car needs that" if the car does not really need it. Honest, reliable, patient, I just cannot find enough words to recommend them. We've had several of our cars serviced by them over almost two decades. Always satisfied. Highly recommend.
Trust that you're not overpaying. Trust that your vehicle is being repaired by a pro. That's what your getting at this place. Straight answers plus a fast turnaround.
Received some work, but made things worse. Had noises that I didn't have before. "Mechanics" stated that the noise was caused by previous work done, but I just came back from 3,000 mile road trip and never had that noise. They said they "fixed" it after bringing it back, but noise is still there. Your mileage may vary.
Lambert's is amazing. They charged us over $1000 less than Firestone for exactly the same job. They were great about communication, understanding our financial situation, and being honest. They were in a position where they could easily have taken advantage of us financially. We were in a really tough spot and they chose to do the right thing. After nearly being a victim of Firestone, that honesty really meant a lot to us.

I have used Lambert's several times. They are good and trustworthy. Twice, I had follow up issues; and they worked the problem to my satisfaction at no additional cost.
