This tow company is SO sketchy and SO sleazy for SO many reasons: 1. They towed my visitors car within 5 minutes of the permit expiring because they don’t allow for overlapping permits. So within the 5 minutes it took to park the car and go inside to get the code, the car was gone. 2. When we called to see when they picked up the car, they hung up on us. We called back and then they hung up on us AGAIN. We called under a different number and they finally started talking to us. 3. When we got there, the place looks abandoned, the lobby is empty, and the ticket window is blacked out so you can’t even see the person you are doing business with. 4. They towed the car 30 MINUTES AWAY. 5. The retrieval costs OVER $300 and when we asked for an itemized receipt, they said no. So we had to verbally get explained the breakdown of cost. Then when we paid, they asked for our ID. I’ve never been asked to show my license when using a card before EVER. And they make the cash payment cheaper for sketchy reasons iykyk 6. When getting the car, the instructions they gave were HORRIBLE - “yea just walk out that door to the right and your car will be right there” WRONG, there were 3 cars in front, none of which were the wrongfully towed car. So they have you roam this large dirt lot in THE DARK to find your vehicle.

Just the absolute worst place. I understand it’s not a fun place to work and it’s not fun people to deal with but I dealt with the rudest person while I was just trying to ask questions about the charges. They lied to me numerous times about charges, and liability for towing. Every question I asked was interpreted by the rudest worker who called me a liar and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked why I’m being told there’s going to be a random 24 hour charge of $60 and they lied to my face saying I heard them wrong. I didn’t hear them wrong. They lied. They told my partner one overall cost for retrieving the vehicle and me a completely different one. I asked why that was and they refused to answer. I kept being interrupted. You ask for the evidence of the illegal parking and they gripe about having to do their jobs. It’s a completely predatory business. We will be filing with the state so they are aware of this business’ malpractice.

During call told me 130$ and instead charge 300$ and we were rudely treated. no wonder why they need one direction glass in their office.

It sucks to have to visit this place but the worker (hidden behind tinted glass) was very professional and helpful. Easy retrieval process.

If I could give 0 stars I would, they hit both of my vehicles on the same week. While trying to tow other vehicles.

Wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy, don’t let your wife or daughter go alone to this location

Absolute unpleasant disgusting experience none one in line and still make me wait for 30 minutes rude costumer service not mad about getting tow just frustrated at the bad service Absolute extortion

Horrible service at DFW TOWS / Mustang Wreckers. Absolutely terrible experience. We were forced to wait an unreasonably long time with no communication whatsoever. The person (I think it was a woman?) behind the pitch-black window was extremely rude and dismissive—no courtesy, no professionalism, just attitude. It’s clear they feel no need to treat people decently, probably because they know you don’t have much of a choice when they’re holding your vehicle. Not a place I’d ever want to deal with again.

Worst company they go around driving through apartment complex parking lots looking for easy cars to tow giving false violations on the reason for towing got my car towed at 3am on Sunday not even a full day they charged me over 300 dollars to get it out not to mention the rude costumer service

Deserving of zero stars but forced to give one. Tow companies are so predatory— and this one especially (:

Huge shoutout to the tow truck driver who heroically saved the community by removing my car—yes, the one with a tire barely flirting with the grass. Truly, no greater menace has faced our apartment complex. It’s comforting to know that while emergency services save lives, this guy saves landscaping. I must say, I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for side hustles. In fact, I have more respect for folks in “less glamorous” professions like street pharmacists and professional companions—at least their hustle comes with a little transparency. But this guy? A true grass enforcement vigilante. The Batman of Parking Violations, if Batman charged $356 and disappeared into the night through a tinted truck window. A round of applause for turning one blade of grass into a payday. Incredible. If you’re into spontaneous fines, zero communication, and watching your vehicle vanish faster than your faith in humanity, give this artist a call. They’ll change your life.

DFW Tows, you absolute legends of lawn protection! I’m forever grateful for the privilege of handing my money through that mysterious black window like it’s a secret drug deal — except the product was my own car, “liberated” for the heinous crime of daring to be near some grass. The sheer joy of paying a hefty ransom for a vehicle I barely parked wrong (or didn’t, according to signs nobody can agree on) really made my day. Their tireless patrols are so elite, they only catch some cars sometimes, keeping the suspense alive! Honestly, if you want to feel like you’re funding a grassroots crusade against rebellious tires and join the fight for “curb appeal,” DFW Tows is your go-to. Five stars (NOPE) for turning towing into performance art. Next time, maybe they’ll charge me for the emotional trauma too. Bravo, heroes.

Driver was extremely disrespectful. He entered parking area thru an exit only while I was trying to leave via the exit. He got out of the towing truck and started cussing at me to get out of the way because he had a job to pick up. DON'T EVER USE THEM NO MAYTER WHAT. If people can't be respectful when you don't need, how will they respect you vehicle when you need a tow?

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with this towing company. The customer service was downright rude, and the staff spoke to me as if I were a prisoner, not a customer. The business feels very unprofessional and borderline scam-like. There’s no transparency, as you can’t even see or interact properly with the staff. They only accept Mastercard or Visa, which is very inconvenient, and to top it off, they charge an extra $8 if you choose to pay by card. Overall, an awful experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I had to wait 30min, when I had already called and wasnt given the address until after they verified my vehicle was there. Yet when i get there they claimed they didn't have it. They laughing and joking in the back just to aggravate people even more.

My experience with DFW Tows Inc. has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. My car was towed from my apartment complex without any prior notice, despite my vehicle being registered according to the instructions provided by my leasing office. The towing was unwarranted and costly, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Furthermore, their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when I tried to resolve the issue. A lack of clear communication, poor handling of disputes, and aggressive towing practices demonstrate a complete disregard for customer service and fairness. I would strongly recommend reviewing your policies and communication methods to prevent unfair treatment of vehicle owners in the future.

This place is absolutely run by ridiculous people. They told that my car was not there when I went to retrieve it. I even called and checked with them if they have my car and they said yes and also provided estimate. When I came after a week, they said someone else came and took the car. Later, after 2 days of struggle and speaking to manager, retrieved my car.

WORST TOWING COMPANY EVER, they will tow your vehicle with least bother. They will damage your cars and will reject claim when you complaint them about their incompetent employees. Never ever call this company in case you need to tow your car.

If I could give them no stars I would. They are completely unprofessional. The lady behind the window screamed at me after I tried to retrieve my car. And the same spot I was parked when i got towed has now been occupied for two weeks!! when I ask about it they said it’s not their job to keep up where the drivers tow. I was wrongfully towed!!

My car got towed at 1am with no notice or warning, so getting to work in the morning was an issue by itself. I called to find out where to get my car back and the receptionist not only gave me an incorrect address, which led to me wonder around for an additional 15 min, but had a unwelcoming and dismissive attitude. When I finally got to my car, I found arm prints on my front windshield and dirt on my hood from the tow truck driver leaning or sitting on my car. To add to the $300+ towing fee (5 min tow), I also found out the negligent driver managed to rip half of my front bumper from the frame of my car. Keep in mind I have had my car towed by tripleA and other companies when it has broken down and they managed to complete the simple task without causing any damage. This company has no care, no accountability, and absolutely no idea how to actually tow a car. DFW Tows must not perform any due diligence when hiring if their drivers are incapable of noticing when they are actively ripping someone’s bumper off their car, or they just have no pride in their business. I can almost guarantee you that with little to no research you can find a company that will be cheaper and handle your car with more care. I really wish there was a single positive comment that could be said about this poorly operated company.

Stayed at my brother’s apartment where they gave me a fob key and everything but a pass. Because apparently, parking is never enforced at a place a where there is always plenty of parking. Was parked for a FEW days already when visiting and the last morning as I was coming out with my suitcase, my car was gone. I get some towing, but half the time y’all just prey on people. The location was also sketch. Terrible fencing anyone could hop over and break in. Should be illegal. You can have cameras up, but we all know that’s really not helpful unless there is actually security there. Slimy.

Had visitor at our apartment that got their car towed after being registered with the company. Car had damages from improper use of towing equipment. They used a dolly instead of a flat bed to tow an AWD car. Will now have to file a damage claim with them. They are trash!!!

Scumbags. Towed my car despite a valid visitor permit and refuse to refund me despite providing them with proof. I pay to live at this apartment complex and always register my guests in time. This car has also been here multiple times before without any issues until last night when the driver decided to tow a legally parked car which ended up costing me over $330.

They towed my rental car from my apartment complex. Even though my apartment authorized me to park the rental in my PAID parking spot. But of course, whoever the tow truck driver was, didn't get out there truck to verify on the two parking passes I had displayed in the windshield. And then, when I go up to the place to explain to the lady at the window, I have a parking pass which shows I'm authorized to park in my parking spot. She has an attitude and acts like she didn't want to help. I had to pay $171 to get this rental out even though I have a parking pass. Either this place is giving me a refund or I'm gonna dispute it with my bank.

One of the most professional and kind towing companies I have ever come across and I have dealt with many. They provide a valuable service and those upset may want to consider that far worse could happen if you park illegally which is not their fault. They were fast to release my bike and which was in perfect condition. Trey and Jason saw me struggling to load my bike and dropped everything to help a complete stranger - using their tools and even gifting me straps that I had forgotten to bring! True kindness like that is rare and a blessing. They have super tight security and their goodness is apparent to anyone who can admit they messed up parking. Keep it up team you provide a valuable service I don’t care what anyone says. God bless you!

Absolutely dreadful!! my car was stolen and taken to this facility. Upon walking in you are greeted by a disgusting cement floor with several windows that are categorized. Unfortunately non of that matters as everyone has to wait in the same line. I waited almost an hour only to arrive at the window and watch the workers talk on their phones and show each other pictures right in front of me. Several people did not speak English and were treated very rudely, that's not ok. I did get my car and I'm thankful for that. Pro tips: Do not frustrate yourself by calling, they will not answer. Also if you need to know how much money to bring, look on their website. It has basic info and can give you a rough estimate. Make sure your car is actually there! I saw several people turned away. Lastly bring cash, and patience in abundance.

These people are straight thieves. Towed my God daughter's car from the apartment where she lives for no reason. She had a sticker and had every right to park there. Tried to tow it a second time, but she looked out the balcony window and stopped them. Driver admitted he made a mistake and said he just didn't see the sticker. Paid the fee to get it back the first time, and it looks like she will have to take it to small claims court to get her money back. I believe the apartment complex is in on the deal some kind of way.

We had our car towed, which was on us. However it didn't give them the right to damage the car!!!!! (costing >$1000 to fix up) Put a complaint/ damage claim in February 2023 and still have no resolution or proper contact!! We have all the evidence needed and compiled all the documents they needed. Whoever is holding the fort in Claims Department clearly doesn't ever talk on a phone to their customers!! It is frustrating. Also the first time we tried to put a claim in we were initially LIED to that this wasn't the company. Fortunately we drove past a company driver and he redirected us back in disbelief that we were mislead. Just shocking behavior from administrative staff. Worse encounter ever!!! Honestly our bad luck for ever coming to contact with them!!!!

Horrible Horrible, I bought 2 cars with bad head gasket engines that they cleaned up and made a running video of the bad cars and fooled me out of $2100. I sold them to the wrecking yard for 350 for both and loss big time.
