I’m disappointed I didn’t check the Google reviews first but I had the same experience as most of the people who left reviews. I called this morning and was quoted a price and told the driver would be by to pick up my vehicle within 3 hours. The driver was awesome, but (by no fault of his own) he didn’t arrive until 4 hours after the original time I was given. So my 3 hour quote turned into 7 hours.
Once he arrived and did the inspection he said everything looked good, but when he called back to the dispatch, they suddenly lowered the amount they were willing to pay by $150!! Just as the other reviewers noted, they claimed some bs about “aftermarket catalytic converters” which was just false.
As the other reviewers noted, you can probably get more money and better service from another buyer. If you get quote from this place- just know it will be lowered (by a lot) by the time you finally say goodbye to your vehicle.
They were scheduled to come. Waited hours. No show. No response. Nothing. Not mad cause got a better offer the next day from pick n pull. Don't waste your time with them

I was totally honest with these people about the condition of the car and everything else it was late at night when he finally got here and he offered me $100 less than what I was told I would get on the phone they know when you're weak and they take advantage

Bought a Kia Rhondo cash. It was a trade in and a really good and reliable purchase. I had been looking for a car third row not to big and when i saw it posted i contacted them and got immediate response. They were friendly highly responsive and very polite. I enjoyed the exchange and experience. Would definately do business with them again!!

I call them earlier today and the lady gave me a quote side someone would be out today between 9am-12pm. So I didn't go into waiting on them to came no one never came so I called them back to see what was going on she said that someone would give me a call in a few no one never called. They are not business professional or have good customer service. I've missed a day of work for some BS. Amanda is the one I've been in contact with throughout this time.
Tried to sell my car since Sunday the 27th. First call: "we will be there between 9:30AM and 12PM."
Second call @ 2PM when we didn't hear anything back, "Sorry about that, we are down a driver. We will be there between 5-6PM. Latest might be 8:30PM."
Third call @ 7:30 PM Sunday: Nothing
Fourth call Monday the 28th: "So sorry about that. We will be there around 2-3PM. Someone should be giving you a call within 30 minutes."
Fifth call: No answer.
Mind you there were multiple texts send to the "owner."
Is this a bait car scheme and y'all can't blow your cover? I am so confused.
Well I have deal with them before and I only call them I love they service. I’m waiting on them now so I pray these reviews not true. Keep up the good work guys. You all are amazing
For two days they told me they would pick up my car. Never answer the phone. Lie about sending someone. Excuse after Excuse. I would find someone trust worthy instead. Never called back even though they said they would. Still waiting.
Terribly run company. Gave us a quote -which we settled on. Then, assured us they’d pick up the car the following morning. They never showed up to pick up the car. After contacting them, we were assured that they would get right back to us. This went on for over two days. We finally called another company. They were completely professional and picked up the car the following day! Hope they get a better system so no one else has to go through a negative experience!
Today, I too can say this so call company try to get over on me as well. The guy came out half looks under my car,and tells me my cadillac converter was an aftermarket . Which was a total Lie just to lower the cost for them to pay me. I just want tell him that what go around come back too u!!!! Just be right to people.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Here is what happened today with this business. 1. Around 1 pm today I called them to sell my van . The girl that answered was nice on the phone, she gave me a quote and she asked me where I am from originally And I answered her that I am originally from Egypt and I am a citizen here fro more than 20 years in this country
2. 20 mins later a guy called me asking for the address.
3. About 3 hours later the guy called saying he is on his way and everything was fine and normal so far.
4. Now the guy showed up and checked the car and told me that all we need from your car is a part inside your transmission called the converter and the one in my van is not the factory one so he has to lower the price (by the way the converter is a part between the transmission and motor and is covered with the plate so there is no way he can see it that easily). So I told him no I can't sell the car for this price thanks for your offer
5. After I refused his offer he said OK he will pay the quote and he asked for my plate and scanned it to make sure I own the vehicle. Since the guy saw my name he turned very weird and canceled his offer and went back to the old price so I refused again and went into my house.
6. The guy turned crazy jumped into the car and put his hand continuously on the horn honking like crazy inside the alley and drove his car around my house with crazy speed and started to call me more than 6 times on the phone threatening me with all kind of unbelievable talk about 9-11. Yes 9-11!! And how he will treat me and how he will come at night to steal my van and take it for free and he even drove to the front of my house and threatened to steal my other white Honda parking which is my daughter' s car saying he will take it too. And all kind of white trash language when they deal with foreign people here.
7. Due to all of this my daughter is scared and I called the police and when we were waiting the guy called me again with a private number this time continuously threatening me with how they will come at night and take everything and kill me.
8. The Dallas police came and reported everything and I supplied them with the business number and phone number and name of the guy that came.
9. Now I have cameras around my house waiting for these people at night and the police have an idea of what's going on here. I even contacted the business at about 6 pm after the police left and they didn't answer and the answer machine is full.
10. I wrote what happened today to warn people so they don't face what I faced today with my family and so they don't put their family in a dangerous situation. I have all the evidence and even the report number for all who's concerned
11. Also I will hire an attorney to investigate this business to protect the people who deal with them
To the guy who came to me, believe me I am more than able to protect my family and property from any behavior from you. And you will be sorry if you think you can hurt my family, my house, and my cars.
My experience with Cash For Cars was grate they were very nice and friendly. Better said very good customer service👌🏾. So I shopped around for a cash for cars place for about two days and this guys had the highest offer for my car it was quick and easy just called them set up appointment for today they came within 45min checked out my paper work made sure i had wat i said i had pink slip everything was good and i was handed my money in cash. I have to say it was very fast and easy even for a girl I would definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to sell a car for some cash.
I would definitely recommend these guys. They were quick and courteous. Did what they said they would, arrived right on time! Towed car for free and gave us a Cash!
Horrible Business. I was hung up on more than 5 times. Here is what happened:
Call, gave a description of the car, "truck frame and bed, no front suspension or cab" and said they would have their driver call me. Then an hour later the drive called and did not leave any voice message. I called the number back and gave him a description of the car, same as before, and they said they could be out in the afternoon or tomorrow. We make an appointment for the next day at 10am and gave the address.
Next day I called the drive at 9:55 to see if they were still going to make it and had to give the description again, and then asked for the address again and then hung up....he then text asking of the address a third time.Then he replys at 10:25am saying he can make it by 11am. I wait around till 11:10 and he calls asking in I have change...I say yes and he hangs up.
Once the driver gets to the house he says "Oh, its not a full truck? I have to call my boss". Turns out they misunderstood "truck frame and bed, no front suspension or cab" to mean it had a cab, engine, front suspension, and was basically a full vehicle. After wasting my time and being very rude they would not take the vehicle and just left.
I will never do business with this company again and would not recommend them to any person I liked. Called hlh&r Metals and they are extremely helpful and nice, Use them instead, they know how to do business properly! Unlike this joke of a business.
Clearly the other review got the wrong company because I don't see how anyone would be happy after dealing with these Rude, Inconsiderate, Unprofessional and Late individuals.
