Very nice, down to earth people. I had a banging noise in the front end that they were able to diagnose pretty quickly. It turned out to be the idle control arm, they got the part in the that night and were able to get it put on first thing in the morning. If you need work done on a vehicle I highly reccomend going here.

Friendly, helpful, and nice small town mechanic that charges very reasonable prices, highly recommend for your car repair needs. I didn't have much done here, but it is clear that they strive to help you. One thing to note though, if you use a credit or debit card, there is a 3% surcharge added. But otherwise a great place.

Always the best!! They have always gone above and beyond for us on every vehicle, no matter how big or small the issue is, even if it's just an oil change. They have great people all the way around, and I always recommend them to anyone looking for a shop. Very honest and trustworthy business.

Had to get my LAST inspection sticker for my car today. I walked into Poco Automotive around 8am and asked for an inspection. Unaware that places in Gatesville book up (considering it is the last week of the month) they were completely booked until tomorrow. Being the kind and generous staff that they are, offered a time slot for a bit later (maybe a cancellation), so I took it! Inspected. Passed. Even received a quote for an existing issue and was on my way super fast. Thank you to all at Poco Automotive. You are appreciated.

Came in for an oil change. Knew the ait filter needed changed and the tech caught it. Also the front tires were worn. Tech brought to my attention. And allowed me to have a look. Fast friendly service. Will come here again.

I took my sons pickup in to Poco for a front end alignment after taking it to two other different places for a alignment which could never get it aligned correctly and gave me excuses why they couldn't get the alignment correct. Michael the alignment guy at Poco nailed it the first time best it's ever driven.Thank y'all for taking care of us!

On the fence about Poco. Very nice people, I've only been there 3 or 4 times. I've never had bad customer service there. Also, fast service the few times I have been there. But one thing that seemed odd to me and still does. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was informed that tire balancing is not included with the rotation. This is the only place I've ever been that didn't include both of them together. I've worked in several shops as a tire & lub guy. Including Stone's and Wal-Mart. It's always been considered one service. So I found that odd. Also, I've never paid more than $170 for oil change, tire rotation, and air filter. I paid more than $230 for the same thing without the balance. Poco does feel like its over priced. I'll probably go back and test them out a few more times on repairs before I decide if I want them as my new main maintenance place for my vehicles.

Friendly staff but went to go get alignment checked was told I need bushings and had several loose parts. My husband is a mechanic and has a shop available but doesn't not have the computer and equipment for an alignment. There wasn't anything wrong found checked afterward when I got home we double checked and everything is ok

I have spent 1000s of dollars at pocos for them to repair my car and I have never had any issues until recently. My 2016 Dodge Journey is on the last leg of its life but i was determined to get it running decent enough to use regularly. I was having issues with the car dying overnight and the coolant fan working. First visit to pocos they fixed the fan and said the battery needed replacing, luckily my battery was under warranty so it was done for free. Car kept dying overnight at home so we took it back to pocos who kept my car for a week and said they didn't have the same issues with the battery dying. Took the car back home and a day later battery is dead again. Brought the car back to pocos for the final time and they wanted to Charge me 200 for electric diagnostic plus 100 every hour until the problem was found. Seemed a little too steep so I brought the car home. My dad spent a week testing the fuses and connections to The battery to try and find out what was draining the battery. Nothing was found and Eventually it was zeroed in on the battery itself so we remove the tire to change the battery and find that the battery is turned on its side and not the right battery for my vehicle from what my dad has told me. We paid 200 for a brand new battery and have zero problems now. Sickens me how much I would've paid this shop to fix a problem that they caused by giving me an inadequate battery and turning it on its side. Sorry but my business will be conducted elsewhere from now on.

Very friendly staff, but a bit pricey for my 15" tires. You might have better luck and more options with different sized tires. They're definitely worth talking to!!

Poco came and jumped my car, at ?. . an open car door all night long had drained the battery. no chg! thank you Poco!!! your business ethics and moral contributions to your community is highly valued. you did send someone out to help January 2023 I was not even a customer. who does that today??!! thank you Poco Automotive ? took 5 minutes btw. My husband and I are new to Gatesville and needed a place to take our 2013 Toyota Yaris for a few issues that we've had for years. Poco took less than 24 hours to fix all the issues we informed them about and were such a delight to talk to; they even gave us a ride home after dropping our vehicle off for the repairs. We definitely will be going here for all of our future car needs!

Poco has a very nice people working for him especially in the front and they have good service I go there several times they have nitrogen to fill up my tires I never had anything else done but they seem to be busy all the time so they must be good

Brought my car in thinking I would need a front end alignment because the tires were wearing strangely. Jack came out and looked at the wear on the tires and asked if I drive on gravel roads, which I do, and explained that the rocks and gravel were the cause of wear pattern and not an alignment issue. Really nice and honest folks.

I went to have pressure checked on trailer tires. Later that day, I had punctured a tire. I went to get a tire from them and they didn’t have one. They called other places in town to find what I needed. The owner drove me in her personal vehicle to pick it up. Once we returned to the store, they mounted and balanced the new tire on my trailer and I was on my way. I am thoroughly impressed with the business. In addition, my father-in-law took a golf cart tire to be fixed, prior to my experience. They fixed it and didn’t charge him. They are all around good people and I’m glad they are in our community.

The folks at Poco are great and friendly. We have had a couple of issues with tire work. The first time was a small tractor tire being placed with the tread going the wrong way. Most recently, We took a tire in that was leaking. Technician removed screw and patched for a $20.00 fee. The next morning the same tire was flat on the car. We will go back because they do usually do great work. Just disappointed in the tire man not checking his work or digging deeper for other issues.

Melissa and Bobby are amazing business owners with attention to detail and customer service like it was back in the day! I would highly recommend them for any of your services as they are prompt, courteous, and professional and the prices of services are reasonable.

So I spent $1060 getting an AC vent mode actuator fixed and getting trailer wiring set up for my new cargo trailer. They got it done and I paid the front desk. However, as it turns out, they didn't even bother to check if they had gotten it right before having me pay them. Because the trailer stuff they installed and I paid for wasn't working. Specifically, the trailer's electric brake controller was draining my car battery overnight and leaving me with a dead car. So I almost immediately took it back up there and the mechanic, Brian I think, reset the electric brake controller and it finally started working like it was supposed to. Over the next several days it no longer drained by car battery. Then by the end of day 2, it just stops working all together. That, and the entire wiring system they set up stopped transmitting power and light signals to my trailer. So, no brakes and no lights now. I called Poco around 3:50pm and asked for a refund on the parts and labor associated with the trailer stuff. I was told the manage "Zach" I think she said, would give me a call back. 10 minutes before closing I called back again and asked if the guy was going to speak to me this week. She finally said "no sorry he'll probably speak to you monday".

Poco Automotive is awesome! On our return drive to New Orleans and in the middle of a 650 mile road trip with my elderly parents on 12/27/21, I experienced a flat tire. I'm so thankful that Poco Automotive. They were immediately able to repair the flat and get us back on the road in no time. What could've been a terrible mess, Poco Automotive turned into a pleasant, memorable experience. Very professional and courteous and the pricing was less than expected. Thank you Poco Automotive. A great business.

Super friendly staff! One girl sat and colored with a little kid who seemed antsy too... Quick in and out service definitely on point too! Whether you need a routine checkup or emergency fix, you will NOT be disappointed!! ?

Have used them for years and will continue to do so. Always quick turn around time on repairs and fair pricing. Customer service is amazing. Had a battery die in parking lot down the street and the manager walked over there with battery charger, got it fixed, and didn't even charge me anything. Just good people.

Very good people with the best "old fashioned" care and values. Bobby and the crew went above and beyond what is expected. From a great price on diagnostic on our broken down vehicle, to a no strings attached loaner vehicle (without even knowing us) and personally driving me 30 miles out of town to get a rental vehicle to get our family home! Thank Bobby and crew we met some very great Americans at a low point in our life: from the Eagles Nest gas station to Gosset towing and Poco Automotive. Exceptionally nice owners and workers. They always fit me in when I drop in and need anything but I suppose an appointment would be better. Reasonable prices and excellent service, would definitely recommend this garage for your needs.

My car is old & lug nuts rusted & rounded off onto the studs. Rim rusted to vehicle as well. They were able to remove both & change tire & lug nuts that I brought. Ladies at the front were kinder than any business around. Fast & efficient techs. Thanks for doing what you guys do.

Traveling through Gatesville Texas had a blowout right in front of their business, turned on side street next to them with all forty feet of trailer. The ladies at counter were cordial and could not have been more helpful. They had some get right on changing the tire and we had them put on 2 new tires and place the soare back underneath. Not only were the desk staff friendly but also all of their service personnel. Could not have had a better experience. My thanks to this company.
