Fair prices and great service! I had an emergent situation and had call other places that were either overpriced or not responsive. A colleague recommended Sevciks and Andrew was able to help me out even with the busy schedule. Would come again next time.

Sevciks is the best!! I purchased a used truck ONLY because I now have a confident, extremely knowledgeable team of mechanics to help keep it running. They are all great people and I will continue to use their services for as long as they remain in business.

Took vehicle in for a check engine light issue and diagnostic test. Was called 6 hours later and told I needed a battery to perform the diagnosis which starting was not an issue. Over $325 later, I pick up my car only for it to sound like a loud tractor! It was worse off than when I originally took it in! I immediately Called and made a report and was told to bring it back in. Received a very rude phone call (in my voicemailbox) from the guy who claimed to be the owner and running things for over 40 years. He tells me to get out of the car because he "THINKS" the motor "MAY" be going bad due to low oil. Mind you, I had just had a recent oil change.

I've had a couple different vehicles worked on over the past few weeks. Pat, Andrew, Will, and everyone else I've worked with up front have been outstanding.
On my last visit they had a load of donuts and kolaches delivered by a recent customer. Everyone was sure to include me in the feast and it was a great gesture.
On a previous trip, when I was picking up my truck with my kids, a service tech came into the lobby and bought both of my kids candy from the vending machine out of his own money.
Small gestures like these are rare these days and they do not go unnoticed!Jan 19, 2026 -
This was my first visit to Sevciks since moving to College Station. All the workers were so kind and got everything taken care of in a timely manner. Will definitely be returning for every vehicle need.

Andrew and the team took great care of us. They offered a fair and upfront price, and they got the job done quicker than what they estimated. I’d trust these guys again in a heartbeat.

I have gone to sevciks for a couple years now, and they are by far the best mechanic shop I’ve ever used. More affordable than the dealership, with better customer service and quicker vehicle turnaround. I have been trying to get my vehicle ready to move across the country and these guys have made repairing and restoring my truck much easier than it would’ve been anywhere else. All the staff members are extremely helpful, but I want to give an extra commemoration to Andrew. He always takes the time to explain exactly what’s broken or needs repairing, why the mechanism is failing, and your options as far as repairing it or not from an objective standpoint. To sum up I greatly appreciated having an auto shop that I can trust as a college student.

Vert very kind & sweet .
Had no problem getting me in & out.
The service wasn't listed.
But I went & for a tire leak . My tire was flat flat. & he looked for a hole . No hole turned out to be my air valve & he replaced it. Honestly didn't know that was a thing.Dec 17, 2025 -
We came here when my daughter was having issues with her Mini Cooper. Andrew and the staff was extremely straight forward and helpful. I felt I could trust them which is hard since I'm a father living 3 hours from their shop. We will definitely be using Sevcik's for the duration of my daughters college career.

Was pretty much stranded in college station with a broke down car, and they fixed my car for 40% of the cost the first shop we took it to quoted us. Over 4K less. Great and trustworthy folks.

I have trusted Sevcik’s with every car I’ve owned for 20 years. I have never had a single bad experience. They’ve had an incredible record of honesty, integrity and dependability. I could not be happier with everything they’ve done over the years. That’s hard to say for any business.

I dropped off my wife’s Honda Pilot in the morning and they were able to diagnose the loud ticking sound. They replaced the timing belt, tensioner, water pump and did the oil change. I got it back that afternoon. Fair price, quick and great work! The quote they gave me was honest and accurate, no surprises or tricks!

I have been using Sevcek’s automotive for over 25 years. They never disappoint. They are honest and efficient and treat each customer with true kindness as if they were family. I highly recommend Sevcek’s Automotive to anyone who wants an honest approach to repairing their vehicle.

Pat and his guys and gals are always very professional very kind always willing to go the extra mile to help. Provide pictures and detailed explanations as to what the problem Is and what it will take to make the repair. I have never had a problem that they could not resolve. They are very knowledgeable of many makes models, different years, etc. in my opinion they are the best and I have known them for Many years! In my opinion, the best!

My daughter said she thought her brakes were “squealing”. It has 85,000 miles. In my past experience that was about the miles to change brake pads. I looked on the Next Door App for past recommendations and experiences with local car repair shops. Several recommended Sevcik’s. I walked in early on a Monday. I talked to the owner. He explained there would be a charge for putting it on the rack to inspect pads, rotors, cylinders and test drive. If they found something and I agreed to the work, it was $87 an hour. I agreed. I understand putting it on the rack means one less mechanic and bay making repairs on another vehicle. He said it may be late in the day before they got to it. About 4 pm I got a call from the owner that they would not get to it, could I leave it and they would look at it first in morning? Yes. About thirty minutes later I got a call from a mechanic. He said he had test drove it and heard nothing. He had put it on the rack and inspected the brake system. He found the pads in good shape with enough to last another 60-70,000 miles. He explained they were ceramic pads with some iron in them and if they had gone through water and sat fir a few hours they would have some rust on the pads that would rub off after a little bit of use. The charge would be $43.50 plus tax. Could I pick the car up today? My wife drove me over. The owner recognized me and said, “I am sorry, I called and talked to someone at this number and told them we would not get to it and could they leave it and they said yes?” I said it was he talked to. But thirty minutes later a mechanic from here called to say he test drove it and inspected it and it was okay and it would cost $43.50 plus tax for “rack time” instead of the full $87 because he took right at 1/2 hour to do the inspection. He was surprised. He called the mechanic in to confirm and he said he had time to do the inspection because he had finished early. The boss shrugged and thanked the mechanic for his work ethic. I thanked him as well because I could return the car to my daughter and get my car back. I paid with cash. He did not have enough change to break the dollar. So he gave me a dollar back! At every opportunity to take advantage of me, they were honest and accommodating. I could tell this was their normal operating procedure. Another customer was at the counter and was pleased to hear his work was completed and under the estimate because it was his daughter’s car and she was a college student. They have a student discount!

I've had my Aggie student's Toyota Camry in for a repair and now a service. Both experiences were great, all fixed, fast and fair. Nice that we have a local source to him.

Great customer service as soon as I walked through the front door. I had a leak they offered to check and top off until I could get it fixed. Great experience overall!

Solid five stars. Excellent service and communications all around. I thought they were a little pricy but well worth it if you want the best for your car. I would certainly go back to Sevcik's for all my automotive needs.

⭐ 1-Star Review – WARNING / BE AWARE
This place is a total scam. Sevcik’s in College Station (near Texas A&M) will literally take your money right in front of you and not do the work they claim they did.
I took my daughter’s car there to replace the battery and reset the dashboard. They didn’t even do it until I came back and complained. I also asked them to check and fix the brakes. They told me the brake cylinder needed to be replaced, and I agreed. I specifically told them to make sure they did the brake bleeding too.
Well, they never replaced the cylinder. It’s the same one the car already had. I went back several times trying to get them to fix the issue, and they never did anything about it. That’s not a mistake — that’s stealing right in your face.
This shop is dishonest, unreliable, and takes advantage of customers. Do NOT go to Sevcik’s in College Station. They will rob you blind. This is a warning — stay away from this place.Oct 31, 2025 -
Fixed an issue that had previously been repaired at another shop 2 different times. They did it right the first time. Andrew the service manager is extremely helpful with explaining everything. Definitely have a repeat customer out of me!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. We brought my sister’s car in for brake work and a fluid bleed, and they didn’t actually do the job — yet still charged us for it. We had to take it to another VW technician who confirmed the work hadn’t been done. It’s upsetting to feel taken advantage of like that, especially when you trust a shop to be honest. College students and parents, be very careful before bringing your car here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a soul.

After replacing most of the steering linkage on my Jeep, I went in for an alignment. I was notified that one of the parts I installed was incorrect and setting the toe on the steering was impossible. Andrew, my service advisor, was very helpful and transparent with what was going on.
They ended up having to replace two tie rods in order to make the alignment possible. I had a track bar in the truck bed that I didn’t get around to installing. Andrew and the tech(s) noticed when topping off the linkages with grease that the original track bar was shot. They proceeded to install the track bar for no additional cost. At the end of it, the final total was also discounted for the unforeseen extra labor.
All in all I am incredibly pleased with all the people that I interacted with, especially Andrew. I wish I knew the name of the tech that worked on my truck because the quality of work was great.
I try to do most of the maintenance on my vehicle myself, but for anything out of my scope this is definitely going to be my new go-to.
I’ve read some of the bad reviews for this place and it seems that many of them are due to some sort of miscommunication so I’d take them with a grain of salt, but with how well I was taken care of, I’d recommend this place to anybody.Oct 14, 2025 -
I’ve used this shop for about two years with my wife’s car and had decent experiences in the past — but my most recent visit with my truck ended that relationship for good.
I called on a Saturday about a clunking sound, and they suggested I bring it in Monday morning. I dropped the truck off before 8 a.m. and was told I’d hear from someone before noon. Noon came and went — no call. I reached out around 2 p.m. and was told they were still working on it and I’d get a call before the end of the day. Again, nothing.
By Tuesday morning, I called at 7:30 a.m. and asked that if they couldn’t diagnose it by noon, I’d just come get it. No contact by 1:30, so I called again — was told “another hour.” By 3:15, still radio silence, and my call was hung up on. When I called back, suddenly they “just got the diagnosis.” At that point, I told them I was on my way to pick it up.
When I got the truck, I found dirty wrappers (freezer pop wrappers) inside — things that definitely weren’t there before I dropped it off. Completely unprofessional.
After two days of poor communication, no accountability, and lack of respect for my vehicle, they’ve lost my business — and my wife’s as well. I expected better from a shop I had trusted before.Oct 08, 2025 -
They were very helpful, and do not try to take advantage of their customers. They are honest and do what is in the customers best interest. I had lots of questions and called numerous times, but they always helped me out without complaint.

I was on my to visit my mother because she wasn't doing well, when my car just stopped running. Patrick and his manager were very helpful to me. Patrick even got my lock box out of my car and mailed it to me because I had to have surgery and no one to take me to retrieve it because it is almost 200 miles from where I live. I recommend them. They will work with you.

Mr. Matt Sevcik is a genuinely kind southern gentleman. He and his crew, Mr. Mark the manager and the other mechanics I've met, are the most realistic and helpful mechanics our family has found in recent years.
They are a Ma & Pa shop feel in spite of their growth over the years who is here to help you with what you need. We've built a relationship over the years and they know their repeat customers by name and really know their cars too! They helped with our 2012 Impala, 2011 Kia, and 2009 Murcury. They are honest, up front people who will tell you as it is even if it is a tough pill to swallow (as some car repairs/news can be), but they have always recommend based on what they believe would be best to do if they themselves were in that situation and we appreciate that level of care.Sep 11, 2025 -
Sevcik's Service Center is a place I will always remember. On a hot summer day in August, specifically Saturday the 16th, my air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and professional. I asked if a service technician could take a look at my 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, and they informed me that if I didn’t mind waiting for about an hour, they would get to it as soon as possible. To my delight, my car was ready and blowing cold air again in no time, and the prices were unbelievably low compared to another shop down the street that couldn’t even look at my vehicle until Tuesday.
There are ten essential factors to consider when choosing an auto service center, and the most important is service—everything else is secondary. Sevcik's Service Center truly demonstrated this during my visit..
