Came here trying to get my brakes done and they quoted me $2100 for a whole bunch of extra stuff that I told the woman from the start I didn’t need. Told me my brakes were wearing uneven because my calipers were bad. It ended up just being a slide pin that wasn’t lubed properly so they turned a 20 dollar fix into 400 dollar fix plus labor. Came here on recommendation from a few family friends and left very disappointed in the whole process. Kind customer service and offered a shuttle service but that is about where the positives end.

I've taken my vehicle to Christian Brothers on a few occasions and I was very pleased with there professionalism. Their prices are reasonable and they did great work. They were able to diagnose the problem, (I thought were the ball joints) and turned out to be the sway bar. They have also replaced my transmission on a previous vehicle and done oil changes, and replaced transmission fluid and fuel injectors. I am very happy with the work they have done, their communication, and honesty.

Great team of individuals. I didn't wait too long for my oil change and I even got a report card which I loved! Thanks guys!

They will scam you. When you bring your car in, they will charge you $300+ for “diagnostics” if you have a regular car or $400 if you have a European car. After they told me what needed to be fixed, they tried to charge me $3,600 to fix one part (so $4,000+ in total). I thought this price was extremely sketchy so I took my car to my trusted mechanic and he stated it would be $1,200 to fix the problem, not to mention there was not a $400 diagnostics fee. You will be wasting your money here, don’t let them scam you.

They diagnosed my son’s car and repaired the car all in the same day. The communication was great, the price was more than fair.I highly recommend Christian Brothers in college station.

They did an awesome job taking care of my car and getting the issue figured out within a day. They also helped get it towed in and the process was very smooth.

Worst experience I've ever had just trying to get a quote. My daughter and I walked in and I guess they thought they were going to take advantage of us. They wanted to charge us over $200 JUST for the estimate and it wouldn't be applied towards the cost of repairs. When I complained, they dropped the estimate to $92. When my daughter asked for ballpark for replacing the alternator, because she had another shop check her car and that was what they told her, they told her they would check the prices for alternators, plural. I know there is only one alternator in an engine. Then the male associate quoted over $1k, so all told it would be about $1200. Everything that was said in that office was questionable and we were able to get the car repaired for half that price. At least when you go to Integrity Auto, they apply the cost of the estimate toward repairs when they do the work.

I brought my vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive in College Station for a simple alignment. The car had NEVER had any shifting issues before drop-off. The next morning, I was told it would not shift into reverse and that I had to pay $189 for a diagnostic before they would complete the alignment. Instead of an alignment, I was presented with a recommended repair estimate close to $6,000, which is more than the car is even worth. The only issue that actually affected the alignment was “seized” inner tie rod bolts/nuts. When I asked what was done to address it, I was told they hit it with an impact and it didn’t break loose. No penetrating oil, no additional effort. Overall, this felt like an unnecessary upsell and a waste of money. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this location.

Christian brother’s Automotive strikes again!! My car was not starting and they saved my day with great pricing for towing along with my service. Again they provided superior customer service along with repairing my car on a busy Friday in one day. Thank you Brothers

My truck broke down not far from Christian Brothers Automotive. I had the truck towed to them and by the next morning, had a full inspection report, complete with videos, texted to me. I needed a new water pump, necessary belts, hoses, thermostat, etc. I also authorized them to replace loose and warn tie rods with alignment. Yes, an expensive repair, but necessary. The final invoice was less than the original quote, and the work has a warranty of 3 years or 36000 miles anywhere in the US. The truck is running great and they had it ready as promised. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive!

I took my, recently purchased, 2022 Lincoln Navigator to CBA due to shifting issues &"check engine light". Cole soon called to inform me that several error codes were found indicating potentially serious issues. Bad News. GREAT NEWS he thought the car might still be under warranty. He contacted Lincoln and determined that the car was indeed under warranty. He told me that he had already spoken to Lucas (Service Writer) at College Station Ford and informed him of the problems. ALL that was left for me to do was to take the car to CS Ford Service Dept. Upon arrival, Lucas was expecting me and already had me checked in. I didn't need to go through all of the questions about my car issues. Cole had already thoroughly briefed him. Sadly, it has been my experience that the level of honesty, integrity and service exhibited by Cole at CBA is almost extinct these days. The level of trust gained by this experience will insure that CBA will be my GO-TO for any future auto repair needs.

Costco cross threaded one of my lug nuts and I called Melinda and she took care of everything not only that but the manger went out of his way and got Costco to pay for it instead of having me go back and fourth! Great customer service prices of everything are high but as long as you get good work and great customer service who cares shop local and help small businesses in your community!

My engine light had been on for a couple of days, so I took my car in to Christian Brothers for an assessment. They were able to diagnose it quickly, order the parts needed, and get my car back to me within a few days. This was my second visit, and everyone was so patient and kind. I will not trust my car to anyone else.

Encountered engine overheating issues on Sunday, towed the car to their lot for key drop and overnight. Melinda was fantastic in answering all of my questions and reassuring my family of the proper repairs. I appreciate how thorough the mechanic was in diagnosing what was the issue, being transparent on what was in good condition, and targeting only the parts that needed repair. Too often do we run into auto shops that overdiagnose issues or overcharge, Im happy to have found a good and honest mechanic shop for once! A bit on the pricey side; however, the cost is justifiable for the quality of service. Perhaps some clarification on the shuttle service is needed, website alludes to the service being for essentials such as work, errands, etc.; however they let me know its only for getting to and from the shop. They even stayed open later by about 10-15 minutes so I could pick up the car Friday evening and avoid renting a car for another weekend! Will definitely come back for future repairs

Update: Update: The brake issue returned immediately after the initial repair, with the right front brake overheating again. Because of the safety risk, I had the Jeep towed to a brake-only shop for a second opinion instead of driving it back. They replaced the right front caliper and pads for $500 and resolved the issue. I was later told the original repair was under warranty, but after repeated problems, I chose not to return it to the same shop. My priority was "safety" and getting the repair done correctly. I’ve always trusted Christian Brothers because of the values they stand for, and we’ve brought our vehicles there for years with no issues. But these last two visits really let us down. My Jeep ended up costing $1,600 (we later found out was way overpriced by other mechanics and dealerships when we showed the repair costs)Then with my truck one week later, the estimate changed by $700, and it was only corrected after I questioned it? The communication around both repairs left me confused and honestly worried that this may be how customers are being treated. I just wanted to share this so it’s on your radar and so hopefully no one else goes through the same experience. I believed in the Christian values this shop represented, and I’m disappointed to feel like that trust wasn’t honored this time. The manager did take the time to reach out and call me, which I appreciated. I told him we were luckily that we caught the huge errors and got the truck out of there before the same technician overcharged us. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning our vehicles to this Christian Brothers.

2nd visit at this business. Outstanding customer service. Quick estimate/quote over the phone as they were able to pull up vehicle info online. Fair price; discounts for veterans. I’ll be back!

Everyone was very friendly at Christian Brothers in College Station. They offered me a soda while I waited and kept me posted on the progress of my repairs. I will definitely return! Thank you!

I am so impressed with the service at CBA!! I use to take my car to the dealership to get work done and had years of relationships with the people who worked there and yet, I was treated with more attentiveness and kindness at my first visit to CBA then I have ever had at the dealership. I will definitely be taking my car here for service from here on out! I went in with specific things needed done and they went above and beyond to make sure my car was functioning correctly and safe to drive! I will forever recommend CBA to my friends and family now!

My vehicle was a need of spark plugs and a new fuel induction service. Christian brothers did an exceptional job. I dropped my car off on Monday and it was ready fotwo days later. The entire staff was wonderful. They greeted me with a smile, treated me with respect, and answered questions professionally. They also guarantee their work up to 3 years or 36000 miles. To be frank, car repairs of any kind are not at all cheap, and there's no way around that. Christian Brothers considering other places, are pretty reasonable and they did their job and took care of my car repairs that I needed on my car. I really appreciate it. I do recommend Christian Brothers Automotive and although they might not tell you what you want to hear, they don't beat around the bush and tell you the truth. No business is perfect, because they are ran by human beings and no human being is perfect either. I had my CV Axle replaced and repaired on the side where it was giving me the most trouble with, as well.

Needed to get an oil change and CBA did such a nice job. The service was done in less than an hour and they were all so nice. Every oil change comes with a visual inspection and they take pictures of everything and send it to you in a report. They didn’t try to charge me for unnecessary parts or repairs. Will definitely be coming back for my next oil change :)

I do not typically leave reviews, but I wanted to take time out to celebrate the staff going above and beyond. My daughter had training scheduled all week and her vehicle broke down the night before. We had it towed to the shop Sunday night and they diagnosed the issue on Monday. Repairs were not set to be completed until Thursday, but they checked around and was able to obtain a water pump from a vendor. It was the last one left. They worked diligently that afternoon and the vehicle was ready before 8am the next day. It seems routine, but that kind of service does not go unnoticed when your daughter has just started a new job and can't afford to miss training.

Went here for an oil change, and boy definetly was impressed by the professionalism, they took videos of the car, pictures, even did a courtesy check on the lights on the dash, a battery test was done, a test on brakes to show how much mm's you have left, and to show any other minor or major problems your vehicle may have, nice clean work spaces and the inside was homey and calm, the best part of my experience was being able to read a bible they have lying out, and to hear 107.1 radio Christian music definetly was at peace and could feel the warmth of the Spirit being there, definetly will come back when my next oil change needs to be done!!! Thank you for the service and politeness and honesty about my vehicle!!!

Truck wouldn’t start, and so I contacted CBA about taking a look at it. Spoke with Cole on the phone who asked questions, and was upfront about pricing. Called me next day to let me know it was the Fuel Pump control module. Told me the price, and had it finished a few days later. Very good service, and appreciate Cole being upfront about what needs and pricing.

I came in for an oil change. Melinda helped me through the process. She was very friendly, she helped me with all of my needs. I was in and out within an hour. The tech conducted a thorough inspection of my car. I really appreciate the attention to detail.

Update: Shop gave me a call to explain the distinction between the "recommended actions" versus urgent fixes, which I appreciate, but I would still maintain that recommending new filters, belts, etc based on mileage instead of eyes-on confirmation of an issue is going to leave a bad taste in a lot of folks' mouths. I would strongly suggest changing that approach, as the folks it applies to aren't likely to spend as much over their lifetime as people who are checking basic car maintenance. Moving things to a kinder number as I don't want folks to lose out on work over what is probably a bad corporate policy. Old review: If you know exactly what you want done the people are perfectly cordial, but they also recommended a new cabin air filter to my wife like two weeks after I swapped it out, so either College Station has 3rd world air quality or the recommendations are suspect.

In keeping my car all day for repairs they provided me with shuttle service. Everyone was very considerate and kind. My car repairs were done and with warranties. A very good experience. I am older and I consider this one of my best experiences with my car. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive!
