Josh King was exceptional. We drive over an hour to get tires installed for my grandson. I called Josh the day before telling him we would be there around 4. When we arrived, he took all the vehicle information and immediately took the into the shop. My grandson had a question about a noise he was hearing and after about 20 minutes, Josh came and explained the issue (brakes were causing the noise, but they didn't need to be replaced immediately). The tires were put on and balanced and our truck was ready in less than an hour. I appreciated Josh's honesty about the brakes and told him my grandson would be attending school in College Station this fall and I trusted him to take care of his truck should anything be necessary.
We went in for a simple oil change and Josh came back to us to inform us that the tie rods were about to snap which would have made us loose the steering! We were just visiting our daughter at college, so this was a god sent! We returned with my husband’s truck and once again received exceptional service!

Big O tires is the place ! What made my day was all the help from Felipe the manager of Big O Tires on Texas Avenue. I recently have been in a financial slump due to an injury and lost employment. I had $20 bucks in my pocket and the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I walked outside to my car, I was going to pick up my daughter from school, I had a flat front left tire. I was like no way can I get this fixed , both front tires were bald , I had $20 bucks and no future of receiving funds anytime soon. I looked up the closest tire repair store near me , it was Big O’s .
I drove up went in and felt like crap because I was broke , I saw the first person that greeted me and just blurted out I’m broke , I have no place to go and I got $20 bucks in my pocket, in a very sad tone . The Manager Felipe said no problem sir I will fix it for free, we got you , sit down and take a load off, and have some coffee. Felipe Could tell I was down , he came and sat with me and assured me my situation would turn around, and made me feel better, I have had no one to talk to about my situation, he listened. I knew that I would possibly need two new front tires , but had no idea how I could afford them and have never had anyone in this area help or give me a break on any financial burden. Felipe Came back confirmed I need two new front tires and before I could get upset, Felipe had away for me to get tires , paid some out of his pocket for me to have tires and be safe and on my way . From on this is my tire store ! He also did lots extra to make sure my car was safe for me and my family . Amazing service and a great team lead by Felipe !
Called to make sure they had my tires, as im little less than 2 hours away, Felipe made sure they had them. Got there great service, friendly, professional let me know what was happening the whole time. 100% recommend Big O Tires in College Station.
My first experience with big o tires back in 2024 was great was quick and good price for alignment, hence y I returned hoping it would be the same 2nd go around .. price got better overall but took extremely long time,and couldn't complete the full service but I still had to pay full price for partial service.. seemed kinda unfair and alignment is still off.. first time trip was 1000000% second visit definitely could have been better..
Felipe contacted me personally and was very willing to help correct the situation.. and was even willing to help me with a situation i got myself into with my car that had nothing to do with their work,and they did the job I couldn't and I very much appreciate that.. I will definitely return,they're customers satisfaction is what matters most and i gotta give them 5 stars for willingness and wanting customers to be satisfied with their work overall..
Philippe was excellent. Exceeded my expectations of a normal tire change service. Give that guy a raise. Did you know they offer free beer and whiskey? No but seriously A1 customer service.

Big props to Felipe and all the guys at Big O tires in College Station! Not only did they diagnose and fix the worn out ball joints/control arms on my Tacoma but they hooked me up with rear shocks and got me four new tires by two get two free. All before I had to travel to Go get married the next day.

Awesome reasonable priced place to come to. Felipe is super helpful and goes out of his way to make sure the customer is satisfied and knows what's going on. Definitely recommend this place especially if you're not too sure about cars since they help out and don't try to upsell random things.

Needed a battery installed as I could not install it myself and they not only saw me immediately as a walk in but got me on my way in less than a half hour. Friendly staff and prompt service.
This guy Felipe was so rude and unprofessional. Took my wife car for a front end alignment and they claimed to have done work on it said it needed all kind of other work that I didnt ask for. The car was running worse pulling worse when I dropped ot off. Very unprofessional, took it to another mechanic and he showed me where they did nothing to the car. But charged me 300+ dollars. I wouldnt recommend using these people they are thieves.

Showed up at 5pm because I had a flat on a trailer on the side of the road hauling stuff and I had a tire already but needed it put on the rim of the flat tire. Two guys immediately said they the owner called them this morning and they couldn’t do that unless you bought the tire from them. I was in an emergency and needed the tire changed and they refused. They had a whole hour before they closed and there were 3 guys just standing around not doing anything and offered no help at all. I would highly not recommend Big O Tire in Cabot. Take your business elsewhere to Cabot Tire and Offroad or Tires N More. Big O Tire is a joke and would never do business with them.
I called them to confirm they had free air for tires, before pulling into the parking lot. I was in a bit of a time crunch and this shop was on my route to work. Luckily, they are open before 8am. They were quick to greet me and fill my tires up with air. I had a Pleasant and professional encounter with them.
Wonderful experience! The gentleman working the counter, Felipe, was on point. He was so next level when it came to quality customer service, it blew me away. There were 3 people in line before me and 2 behind me, with less than an hour till closing. But because of his extensive scope of detailed job product knowledge he helped each of us efficiently and with a friendly, calm demeanor. Again excellent customer service, the whole staff was efficient and still it was affordable. I highly recommend coming here for tires or any of the other services.
This has been the best tire shop I’ve been to yet. I’ve had several vehicles of which I’ve needed to replace tires, and coming here to work with Felipe has been fantastic! He went out of his way to help me even after a couple of issues from suppliers. Josh and Moose, the mechanics are awesome as well! They went through an extensive inspection and let me know of work that will need to be done but didn’t push anything like other shops would. I’ll keep coming back to these guys! Much better than any other tire shop in town.
After going to multiple tire places in town on a Friday with a flat I wasnt able to locate anyone available to patch it. Within an hour of calling Big O I was squared away, patched up and back on the road again. Lucas and his team were fantastic. They definitely will get any of my future buisness and you should consider them yourself if you like me were up a creek. Thanks again gents!
Came in to narrow down a tire defect that was causing a set of brand new B F Goodrich Trail Terrains I got at Costco to start vibrating my suv at highway speeds and to make sure it was the tires at fault. Got the proof I needed to get them returned and replaced with different tires under warranty thanks to their road force balancer results and an inspection of my suspension. Did some minor suspension repairs with them as well to rule out any other possible suspects and my car's ride quality has benefited. Staff are amicable and knowledgeable, and my experience was overall pleasant.
Felipe, the manager, is about as crooked as they come. I used to run this store for about a year and a half, so I know the ins and outs of how things are supposed to work. I recently came in for a simple oil change. Another front desk employee wrote up my ticket and gave me a clear breakdown of my total. However, when Felipe checked me out, he added an extra $15 charge for absolutely no reason. While $15 isn’t a big deal, it’s the principle and when I asked, he gave me a completely made-up explanation. It didn’t stop there. As I was waiting in the lobby, a young college woman came in for an alignment covered under her 4-year warranty meaning it should’ve been free. Felipe then lied to her, claiming Toyota had “updated the software” and she’d need to pay $80 for the update. The car was nearly 20 years old that excuse made no sense. I watched him send away 3 customers because it was all warranty work!! Felipe is not only dishonest but also completely incompetent and unqualified to be managing a location like this.
Great service! Friendly staff! I was traveling, 1800 miles from home, and had suspension issues and they helped as best they could plus sold me a set of tires at a great price! Go see Felipe!
God awful place. Oil change turned into oil leak . Paid for 4 new tires they only put on 2 new ones and tried to play it off. Ran over a cone pulling it out the bay. They said they would calibrate the TMS never did. Brand new tire had a leak straight out of there. Save your money and a headache and go somewhere else . These people are sorry as they come.

Highly recommend this place. Shop across the street big national chain could not do this service performed here. Great package deals also included in this shop for alignments.
Fantastic customer service! We purchased 4 new tires over a year ago, and one tire recently picked up a screw and developed a slow leak. We brought the car in and they promptly fixed it. The customer service was very friendly and professional.
This location would not warranty Big O Brand tires or patch the tires. They first said the tires are too old. Which they are only a few months old. The next excuse was that they were too worn but not to the wear bars. Then finally he said they are the wrong size tires for my truck (2018 f350 dually).The manager pushed me to purchase a new set of tires and told me since I do hot shot work to stay away from Big O Tires. These are the 2nd set purchased for other stores. Had to drive 3 hours to a location in San Antonio.
Update: Big O Tires in the San Antonio area are taking care of the tires.
