I did not actually use the shop. I had Bill get a quote on a transmission replacement, and I dropped off the car. Bill did some research and the pricing was coming back way above my budget, Bill tried to help me, but none of the options were something that worked. We got the car back the next day, no pressure, just helpfulness, even though I never spent a dime. My impression is you don't get a shop this size, with good reviews without being an honest, good guy. Thanks Bill
Posting this review because of lack of dealer,Leland, to complete purchase, meaning that my son bought a Mercedes in May. It is now September, and he has no title, registration has run out, and tax office indicates "no car found" when plates were entered. He is stuck with a car he can't drive because dealer has yet to fully complete this transaction! The phone # goes around in circles asking you to choose an option over and over again. It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact this company. Calling, leaving a note on their Contact Us, was never responded to. Posting this negative review in hopes it results in some action being taken regarding the transaction. I was with my son when he purchased the car from Leland.i have left my own phone # and email on Contact Us form, as well as called 5 or more times. A response would be greatly appreciated
Do NOT take your vehicle here. They have no problem doing $800 in unnecessary 'repairs' and still giving you the vehicle back with the same problem. Nothing but excuses. What started as a 600 dollar quote ended up being over 1300. No eye contact when trying to justify their billing. No accountability. Just blamed a different shop as the reason why their repair didn't work when they said before it was not an issue. Just left a disabled veteran high and dry. If you want honest work, go elsewhere. Absolutely disgusted.

I drove over 12 hours to look at a vehicle in their inventory. The gentleman who oversaw my entire sale was leland speed. He was in contact with me prior to me purchasing the vehicle, and sent photos and engine bay photos as requested but did not send me undercarrige photos as i asked. Being in the collision industry i had wanted to also see code history as well as the vehicle in person. When i drove out there to see the vehicle, it was unwashed, and upon further inspection my drive back home had found out about the emissions system having an issue. The busisness and leland have both ceased contact with me in regards to the issue as the codes came on 30 MILES from purchasing the vehicle. Being mechanicly inclined alowed me to bring it home okay. This busisness seems to burn corners to do anything for a sale, so would recommed being mechanicly inclined or who knows what would happen to any other buyer. The vehicle i purchased was diesel and fortunatly known for being bulletproof and also for whining constantly about the emissions system inside of it. BE WARNED. THEY HAVE GREAT SELECTION; but something fishy is going on there. Still diagnosing my new purchase three days later with ZERO call backs from the company.
I’ve consistently had excellent experiences bringing my BMW to Autowerks for service. Their team is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and always prioritizes the customer’s best interest. Store manager Andrew, in particular, provides outstanding service.
During a recent visit with my 2009 BMW 525i for brake and rotor service, Andrew completed a thorough 40-point inspection and informed me that my front pads and rotors were still in great condition. He also took the time to walk me through the other repairs that need to be addressed. Thanks to his honesty and guidance, I avoided an unnecessary brake job and saved a significant amount of money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Autowerks TX! I consulted them for Service D on my Mercedes-Benz CLS 550. Their advanced online system impressed me with detailed service breakdowns and parts photos! Leland provided exceptional customer service, patiently explaining all charges. Their quote was substantially lower than the dealership's. Though I didn't proceed due to time constraint, their transparency and professionalism won me over. Will definitely consider them for future repairs!
I had a BMW 640 with valve gasket and differential gasket oil leak and therefore replacement. It took about a month to complete, due to the specialized tools were needed to be obtained by the shop. The shop and mechanics appears very professional. Overall, I think I had a conscientious and thorough service for my car.
For a “service b” on my Mercedes, they quoted me less than half the dealer’s price. When I brought my car in, Austin pointed out that my brake fluid was pristine and did not need to be flushed, so he saved me half off the original quote. The Mercedes dealer in town quoted me around $1200 and would have charged me every penny! I appreciate the honesty that Austin showed by not charging me for work I didn’t need. I didn’t get a cappuccino when I arrived, and there’s no fancy marble waiting area like the Mercedes dealer, but I saved a lot of money and got the same service performed on my car. From now on, I’ll be going to Autowerks for routine service.
I've had a 2009 Porsche Cayenne in the shop a couple of times. I was really trying to keep it in a drivable condition for a new driver in our family for simple short driving around town. I could go into a long story as it was a complex and winding one. In short, Autowerks was not able to repair the car without a potentially endless string of pitfalls. They did keep the car for a long time and the communication at times was inconsistent. However, in the end Bill offered an honest assessment of the scenario facing me and constructive consultation. A more than amicable arrangement had been afforded me while the car was in the shop for about 9 weeks.
In the end we halted repairs on the car. Bill and the team could have taken a much different approach and fixed issues one-by-one to a slow and expensive death. As an A&M Alum, I believe the Core Value of Integrity was demonstrated in my circumstance without question.
Was looking gor my son s reasonable but reliable vehicle snd autowerks did not disappoint. They even made sure he had a fresh oil change before taking owner ship. Leland is a great salesman and knows his stuff. Their mechanics are top notch.
Extremely disappointed with my most recent service visit here. After my first visit I gave them a 5 star review which I have since taken down. Went in for a brake change and cabin air filter change. Made an appt for Thursday 8am. At noon I hadn’t heard from them. I called and left a message. No call back. I called back again at 4. They still had not finished the quote. At 4:30 they finished the quote and sent it, showing they had inspected the car at 10:30. I approved the brake job. Obviously the car wasn’t going to be ready that day. The next day I had heard nothing so I called at noon. Was told that my adviser was at lunch and would call me back. He didn’t. I had to call again. At approx 4 I finally got in touch with my advisor who informed that the correct parts were not in. So I had to quickly change plans to allow them to keep my car over the weekend. They promised the car would be ready by 11am Monday. It wasn’t. It was ready at 1pm. At which point I had to make additional new plans to avoid being stranded. When I picked up my car, two of the tire pressure monitor sensors were out. I previously have had no issues with them. I did some research and seen statements like "it is possible for a TPMS sensor to become damaged during a brake change if the mechanic is not careful when removing the tire"
It also seems that the expected life of a sensor is 5-10 years with an average of 7. My car is 5 yrs old so on the low end of that. I texted and emailed them to ask about this given my inability to reach them via phone. No response.
Excellent service! Andrew and Austin where very communicative and explained in high detail the reason they recommended certain work on my car. They answered all my questions and took notes of my concerns. The techs completed the work very fast. Very happy and will bring my Porsche again for future preventive maintenance to be done.
We have worked with Autowerks on several of our cars, a VW Atlas and our BMW X5. We’ve been very pleased with their service, communication, and value. They take the time to do things right, explain your options clearly, and are very patient with questions. They were recommended to us directly from Sevcek’s who works on all of our other US made cars, which is the best recommendation I could think of really.
Dropped in, to check if Autowerks could replace a failed headlight on an Audi Q5. They said they might have to order the replacement. After quickly checking their stock, they told me they could do the replacement with about an hour of service time. Good job and they reset the cars computer. Thanks guys.
After bringing my car in for a checkup just after purchasing it, I have confidence that whenever I may need work done on my car, Autowerks is there for me. They may not be like some quick in and quick out shops but they are thorough and professional.
I have a 1999 CLK 320 that I inherited in 2004. It has less than 76,000 miles on it. I have always taken it to Bill's Autowerks. I doubt I'll ever go there again. I can admit that parts for a 25 year old car are difficult to find some times, but this time they had my car for 70 days. Previously I took a Miata in and they kept it 5 months and fixed NOTHING I took it in for and I had to threaten to take them to court to get my money back. I compared the prices they charged for parts to what anyone could go on-line and get them for and be advised you are paying 200% of what you could get the part for from Amazon. They say it is because of warrenties, well, this was for parts they were not going to warrenty anyway. New parts they installed (interior door handles) were covered in greasy finger prints. The $525 (for the 2 handles) was wasted because the handle cover will not stay connected to its frame. When I first started using them there was no Mercedes dealer in town, now there is. When you combine parts mark up and their labor costs, take it to the dealer. I took a Suburban to them and they had to sub out the transmission rebuild. Don't know who they used, but I had to take it back immediately and it turned out the sub left a plug out of the transmission. I would not call this shop reliable, timely or customer oriented. I will sell this car before I go through the aggrivation of dealing with Autowerks again.
l have a 1993 BMW Z3 and wanted to get the transmission and rear differential oil changed. No one in BCS was interested in helping me! On a recommendation, I took my car to Autowerks and met Andrew. Let me tell you, he impressed the heck out of me with his knowledge of Z3's. After a courtesy, thorough inspection (that BMW charge me $200 for and did not find any of the problems Autowerks did. There inspection report was awesome, pictures, cost breakdown by part number and labor costs. NO HIDDEN CHARGES...and no sales pressure! After the work was done, the bill was the same as the quotation. The car ran beautifully. I am so happy and will never take my car to another shop in BCS. I also have a Mercedes GLC 300 and that too will be serviced by Andrew and Autowerks. Please don't waste your time trying to find an honest, reliable and professional auto repair shop who knows their profession. You owe it to yourself and car to use Autowerks!
Visited their Used Car lot and Leland (Sales Manager) was extremely helpful. He was willing to work with me to make the process happen. Unfortunately, I didn't end up getting a car from him at this time but will definitely check out his inventory next time I'm in the market. He has high-end vehicles at very fair prices. If you're in the market for a Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW, check him out.
We were 100% happy with our service at Autowerks! Andrew patiently explained the battery situation for our 2018 new-to-us Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van, ran an Autologic Quick Test Report for us at no charge, and provided excellent advice for avoiding future problems. We will definitely return when we need service!

If I had to pick only one word to describe my experiences doing business with Autowerks, that word would have to be Superlative!
Bill, the owner is cool, this guy knows foreign and exotic cars inside and out. Together with Andrew, the manager, they consider every little detail, hunt down and order OEM parts, then they perform the highest standards of technical car repair on the planet. I've watched them work. The crews work well together, quietly converging on a given car as if they were surgeons. Mechanics like Fernando, Ricky, John and a couple of gals, names unknown, who smartly go about repairing and caring for your automotive-baby. When they replaced my brakes on my Porsche Cayenne they upgrade my rotors on the front to OEM racing type and completely scrubbed the assemblies for no extra charge. Overall, the good work they do is very affordable. Lastly, they're careful, conscientious and the price is very fair. I found I can drop my car off and not worry because it will be repaired and returned without a scratch. Try them and you'll see for yourself.
They all were very personable. The technicians were able to diagnose and repair issues in a timely manner. They also put up with me and all my questions about my E500.
Andrew is the best! I own a Range Rover Evoque and he has helped me out with all my vehicle mechanical issues for the past 3 years. His prices are fair and he provides honest feedback. Highly recommend. Great customer service and overall experience.
I took my 2008 BMW 650i to Autowerks because it was running rough. I first met with Bill who listened carefully to my concerns, he processed the car in for service. Andrew, the service manager quickly started proper diagnosis of the issue. He kept me informed throughout the process and reported the findings and discussed them with me in detail. The parts required were order right away and with in 24 hours I had my car back and delivered running smoothly again. I am very appreciative of the service I received at Autowerks. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who drives European vehicles, Bill and Andrew have a wealth of knowledge about these cars and the prices are very reasonable compared to other shops.

I have been taking my S500 to this shop for several years now and have been consistently impressed with their exceptional customer service, expertise, and attention to detail.
No matter the size of the job, the team at Autowerks TX consistently exceed my expectations. Their ability to diagnose problems accurately and maintain my vehicle has been nothing short of exceptional. What sets them apart from other repair shops is their commitment to standing behind their work. A little over a year ago, I had a transmission rebuild and unfortunately, there was a defective part in the clutch assembly. Despite it being outside of their control, Autowerks TX made things right and ensured my satisfaction.
