I’d give no stars if I could. George is not a kind person to work with and there was a huge lack in communication and then he made it seem like I wasn’t getting correspondence. I had to send text screenshots to show him he in fact did not communicate with me - the gaslighting was insane. Also be warned - there is a fee for using credit cards that they don’t disclose. I even asked what forms of payment they take when I dropped my car off and no one mentioned a fee. Then tried to point out it was printed on a faded (printer ran out of ink type of faded) paper that wasn’t clearly posted when I dropped my car off. I didn’t receive respectful communication until I reached out to the manager, Jon Duckworth. He was kind and respectful and admitted this was a problem with George and would address it. I do not recommend this place and will definitely never be returning. Nor will I be visiting any Gunn dealership as I begin my search for a vehicle to accommodate our growing family.

Hit a deer and took car to Gunn Collision. Passenger front side was damaged. They completed repairs in timely manner and provided constant updates. Car looked brand new after repairs

Strongly don't recommend bringing your car here. I got hit by a drunk driver. Brought my car here to be fixed and they wanted to charge me $5,000 on top of what they were getting from the insurance. For what they said was previous damage that I would have no way of knowing it was there. When I said that I would go ahead and take it somewhere else. They charged me to put my car back together and for storage fees, which took more than half of the money that was paid to get my car repaired. Because they refuse to repair my car unless I payed the $5,000 to repair the body work. Mind you the guy handling my case for gun name is George. He never once contacted me to say my car was ready or to let me know what was going on with my car. I had to call them for updates and go back and forth with them and the insurance. It was the worst customer service and overall experience I've ever had.

Visited today (9/1/2025) to get an estimate for repairs on my truck. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start—the receptionist’s tone was rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. The adjuster/manager doubled down with a dismissive attitude and offered little guidance about next steps or timelines. I value clear communication and basic courtesy, especially when choosing where to leave my vehicle and money. Based on today’s visit, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope management addresses this, first impressions matter.

Gunn Collision center exceeded my expectations. Good people, honest. They always had a smile on their face and ask me what else could I do. I never had to call Georgia and ask for a progress report. I even met the guy that runs the place. Trust me, go see these guys you will not be disappointed.

My car was repaired after a flatbed truck carrying tires on its bed had one bounce off and roll directly towards my car. I was traveling around 60 mph. I braked, but the tire hit my front grill and rolled halfway up my hood, cresing it down the middle. The tire rolled back off and to the other side of the highway. I exited to turn around. By the time I got back to th area, the flatbed was gone. There was no way he was going to walk across the highway to retrieve that tire. I had to file my own insurance. Gunn did a beautiful job. The Gunn rep even haggled with my insurance to explain some of the costs to them. They even explained why they use certain autoparts dealers. They want quality parts and dealers that will back up their parts. My insurance company wanted to use the cheapest auto parts places. They finally understood why my Gunn rep insisted on the parts he used. Kudos to Hector at Gunn Collision for his integrity. He wasn't trying to rip my insurance off. He wants the best quality for his customers. He stood his ground. He could have said ok, we'll eat the costs, or billed me. Sometimes, it's how you explain things to third parties that get desired results. Hector was calm, cool, and collective. Kudos to Hector. If you are ever in need of auto damage repairs, consider Gunn Collision in Selma, TX. Great reps and quality workmanship

My advisor, Jerry Gibson was fantastic! Jerry’s professionalism, great customer service and candid personality made him a pleasure to work with. He constantly stayed in communication with me during my repairs. And any time I called or came in, Miss Herlyn & Cindy at the front desk were always super friendly and professional when helping me out. Gunn Collision Center is second to none and I’d recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repairs, along with requesting Jerry Gibson as your advisor!! Thanks Jerry for the great service! :-)

Have been to Gunn for 4 separate repairs (no fault). Wouldn’t go to annoy other company. Professional, car comes out like new, attention to detail. Superb staff with special recognition to Jerry,my repair specialist. Nicest reception desk personnel. Facility is spotless. Don’t go anywhere else.

We ran into a hiccup upon pick up of vehicle. John ( Manager) went above and beyond to meet our expectations with no hesitation within hours of being notified, along with taking it as a training opportunity for the staff. Good communication from Hector on status of vehicle completion for repairs. Estimate date was right on. We have taken our vehicles in for repair previously due to convenience of location and will continue to do so. Felt valued as a customer.

Absolutely horrendous! Not only did they fail to repair my car correctly (bad enough), but they also tried to quote me a new price to fix THEIR error (unforgivable!). It slightly raises my blood pressure every time I drive by this place (which happens on an all too frequent basis). If you’d like to work with serious people, look elsewhere immediately!

Highly recommend. Had the pleasure of dealing with Cesar Gutierrez, who provided excellent customer service and this being the second time I’ve used them, again was not disappointed. Paint job was done excellent, quickly and looks fantastic.

RUN AWAY!! Unprofessional, poor workmanship , and caused additional damage to my car. Got rock chips from them either joyriding in my car or because they parked my car next to the construction area. They had my car for over 2 months and added 4 miles to my car. Tried to pick the car up three times before it was actually ready. They still refused to repair the rock chips they caused. So, I picked up my car to bring it to BMW for repairs. There were additional chips on my car when I went to try to pick it up the second and third time. Note these chips weren’t there when I tried to pick it up the 1st time. The car was left there the 1st and 2nd time because they didn’t do a good job with the original repairs. There appeared to be scrapes on the front bumper, which the collision enter said is some sort of glue that they can get off. The front bumper was not flush and you could see where it wasn’t painted. There was also white glue where the bumper was attached. There are new chips ALL AROUND my car. The first time I went to get my car when it was supposedly ready for pickup, the bumper cover was detaching from the car—the collision center said they needed to put more clips in, and there were scratches on the “new” bumper cover etc. When I went to pick up my car the 2nd time, I spoke with the manager who was very rude and unprofessional. He was trying to say that all the chips were there from before I dropped it off, which they were not—even their photos show that. Myself and the collision center had photos from when I dropped off the car that clearly showed these were new rock chips. The manager got about a foot from my face and was yelling and throwing his hands around. I had to tell him to get out of my face. This place is very incompetent and unprofessional. I contacted the overall manager for San Antonio, Scott Hildebrand, who was not concerned with his manager getting in my face and yelling at me. He said that I had an incident with them about 10 years ago, which I had forgotten about. When I looked into my records from 10 years ago, I recalled the incident. The only reason they repaired the rock chips they caused on my vehicle 10 years ago was because I had photos from drop off time that proved the rock chips weren’t there, I had a photo of the odometer from drop off time, and there was no way they could explain why they put over 300 extra miles on my car just to repair the rear of the vehicle. I’m waiting on my insurance to go through their process, but I have a feeling I will probably have to file a lawsuit against Gunn Collision because they are not doing the right thing by taking responsibility for the damage they caused to my car.

You will not be disappointed! Gunn Collision did a great job at taking care of my vehicle and keeping me up to date with what was going on with my vehicle when it was in the shop. Communication was a 10! for me.

Tried making a appointment for estimate on line. The site was down. I then went to new location in Selma. Was told it was a 3 week wait for a estimate. I used Gunn when they where in live oak off of topperwein. There customer service have dropped a lot since move.....I was going to be a return customer but that changed when I saw new management structure. At old location it took a phone call and showing up and I had the estimate. If they are only going to cater to big business. They need to change there advertising.

Great experience. Our vehicle was returned to us in tip top shape; unable to tell there was any damage ever done to the side panels and rear. Hector worked with us throughout the process of dealing with the other party's endless insurance bureaucracy. The facility is ordered and well maintained which is something we can't say for others we have visited. Thumbs up to Gunn Collision and Hector's team.

By far the worst experience at a body shop or anything Automotive related in my entire life. They had my car for 10 weeks. Hector Garcia and the manager John are absolutely worthless. They literally lie to you they don't do the work on your car and keep it there just so you can't take it somewhere else. They took my deductible and literally did not fix approximately half the things I took it in for. This is an ongoing 4 month disaster that is being currently reported to the Texas Department of Insurance and all avenues will be exhausted to have these people held accountable. I cannot even go on to detail how many things and what they did because it is simply too long. If you value your car and your time and your money please go anywhere else. They do not care they do not do good work and they frankly lie to you. My car had to be towed to another shop from this place.

I had a small chip on my 8-month old 2023 vehicle. Mr. Duckworth and his team got me in on short notice, were very receptive to my needs, and extremely efficient in filling/sealing the marring. Maybe I was the beneficiary of rare generosity, but I believe their approach would likely be similar to any customer based upon their attitude and demeanor. Very respectful team, and Mr. Duckworth is worth any conversation you need to have about collision or paint repair!

So grateful for the gentleman in Selma who relieved my panic when my credit cards became trapped in the lid of my console. With some ingenuity, he got them out. Thank you for making my day much better. This was on Wed, Sept 20.

After an unfortunate incident, I ended up taking my vehicle to Gunn Collision Selma. I was greeted promptly by the estimator who did the inspection on my vehicle. He was very thorough and pointed out what he was seeing, things that I, and average Joe, wouldn't have noticed. The repairs took a couple of weeks but I'm very satisfied with the quality of work, as well as the exceptional communication from Claudia, Frank, John and everyone at Gunn.

If I could do negative stars, I would. Customer service is so lacking. Had our car taken there back in 2021. Due to it getting flooded. They fixed the starter. After my husband went and picked it up because they said it was ready. Not even 2 miles away the engine light came in again. Took it back and the engine is blown in it. Well we were in the process of moving. They had the car towed to our house because they would not have an engine by then. Well they never sent any paperwork for the starter with the car. Called today and #1 the lady does not listen to anything you say. #2 it's archived so she has to call you back. #3 has no idea on what she is doing. #4 you should have received it. Hey you had it towed back to our house. Nothing in the car. I called in 2022 asking about the paperwork. Oh I get told all you have to do is call and we can get it. Asked for her to email it to me. I get I'm new I don't know how to email yet . So highly frustrated with this place. All we need is our warranty papers emailed to the place here in another state the car is sitting at. With the starter blown. Plus now to top it off. They put cheap parts on your vehicle. Just found this out from the service tech. The starter was cheap and only a 1 yr warranty compared to a lifetime warranty. So my advice is to STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

I drop my car off on Wednesday and it was ready less then a weeks time. Thanks again to Anthony and his crew for doing an outstanding job on the repair of my back bumper. I was so pleased with the paint matching and the worked they did to making me a happy customer. I will for sure be using them for now on when it comes to vehicle repair.

Where do I start! Okay let’s go with walking into the building. Two ladies behind the counter in front of the door so not and will not great you. They will not even ask how they can help you. They do not explain the process to you nor have correct times or dates that they setup appointments for you because I just spoke with some about appointment while exiting the hwy. estate tax happens no update on why they have done to your car or what they replaced with old or new parts. My trunk was smashed in and paint was chipped. Needed new trunk in brand new 2022 Chevy. After 2 weeks I get a call to get the car and the lining inside my trunk is missing. Just a tire. Not how I dropped it off. It gets better. They did not put any of my emblems on my trunk of my brand new car the way I gave it to them not broken nor cracked. I request for them to fix all that they have left off. Now the paint job does not even match the paint of my car nor is the paint smooth. The paint is rough and patchy. Also it makes me feel like they stole parts from under my hood because now My car idles and I did not do that when I dropped it off to them with less than 1000 miles on it. I will never recommend this place to anyone and so sad that I took my car to that horrible place. It’s no sorry it’s no let me fix it just the run around. If it was negative stars on her it will be a -10 star.

I took my car there for back bumper repair via Liberty Mutual. Mr. Hector, his last name escapes me, was the front man assigned to me. Mr. Hector was a great guide in this process and Gunn Collision (everyone else that had a hand in repairing my car) repaired my car quickly and returned it looking new. The receptionist was wonderful. Thank you all!

The service is incredible. Receptionist was professional. Forms were easy to fill. Claudia Vasquez, the estimator was professional, courteous and open to quickly resolving the estimate and repair of my vehicle. I had my truck in here for two separate repairs and both times the quality of work and the timely updates from Claudia on the progress were above reproach. Each time the vehicle was delivered to me clean and on schedule. I did have a minor issue and Mr. Duckworth was quick to resolve that in a professional manner. His customer-first attitude is evident at this business. Overall, just the customer service alone makes me highly recommend using this place. Awesome professional experience.

Sheila Robinson and Alma Marquez were amazing. They got our car in and out amazingly fast, which made the whole inconvenience of the accident much easier. This is our second experience with Gunn Collision, the first was hail damage, which went very smoothly and now the repair of the back end of our Highlander. The car looks better than new. I've delt with many insurance companies and body shops over the years, and I can honestly say these two woman and their staff made this incident as easy and painless as possible. I will recommend Gunn Collision to all my friends and family for their auto body needs. So, for me, I give Gunn 👍👍up and a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.

Staff was professional and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. If something wasn't fixed quite right they gladly looked at it again and made sure it was taken care of. Ryan was very easy to work with and the front desk receptionist staff was great as well.

Saved tons of money on replacing my armrest, less than what my own dealership would have charged me! Great quality, great customer service. Even went above and beyond and vacuumed out my car in the short amount of time they needed it to replace the armrest. Great work! I definitely will use them again!
