My battery was bad and under warranty. The young man tested it, confirmed it was bad. He then brought me a new one, did something on his computer and said here you go. I was in and out in 5 minutes no problems.
Very helpful young man. Had new battery in vehicle lesson 15 minutes I was out. Price seemed fair. Selection of batteries was good. Atmosphere was pleasant.
Went to go pick up a commercial battery and the service was great, I was in and out with the battery within a couple minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Used to be so easy to go in explain to them that it’s been charged and isn’t charging up, battery was swollen on both sides not even a year old. I went to location on 281 and within a day battery failed there they told me they didn’t have it in stock to take it in to this location Saturday morning, crappy employee nick gave nothing but attitude I buy these batteries for all a my trucks and send all my customers to get their batteries here I will no longer be referring anyone to this location and highly recommend you stay away as well seems like they’ll get out of trying to replace a battery at any cost! I was very disrespectful to to NICK BECAUSE OF HIS INITIAL ATTITUDE AND SAYING HE NEEDED TO CHARGE IT UL AND THIS AND THAT! When I explained it was a bad battery! I WILL NEVER Purchase ANOTHER INTERSTATE BATTERY Again in MY LIFE AND DEFINITELY WILL STEER EVERY ONE I KNOW AWAY FROM THEM!

My husband and I had problems with the programming of our key fob. The manager of the Selma location, Jerry went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing customer experience and we left today greatly satisfied with the work that was done and, our key fob is programmed correctly. Jerry was informative and knowledgeable about the products they offer and because of him we will be back to this location for any services we may need in the future. Last week we went to get our duplicate key fobs made for two different vehicles. Nick was quick to acknowledge us and get to work on our request, there was a slight miscommunication on our part but Nick wasn’t phased at all! He completed our request with pleasure and made us feel like family. His positive attitude and excellent customer service has us recommending this place to all our friends and family. It is so rare to find this level of customer service in the Service industry. You have a very valuable employee in Nick who is more than deserving of the recognition!
The Customer Service from the folks at Interstate Battery in The Forum is "Over the Top". We buy our car batteries from Interstate....and everything in between the car and AAA batteries. They have all sizes. Their Crew makes you feel like you are family.... They stand by their product.
This place is helpful and kind. The employees are quick to answer questions. The manager seems incredibly patient and wanting to do a good job. I got a new car key fob here.
This Selma location is great! The staff here was fast and friendly. Good battery selection for a little store; with lots of other cool stuff too. Like chargers, jumpers, flashlights and more!
Left a negative review and called corporate office. I was told they would get back with me. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything from them. I have never been treated this rudely and they would not replace an 18 month old battery that has a 30 month free replacement. I guess they don’t care about negative reviews or customer service,

From the time I called in to ask questions about products, and my needs all the way to purchase and installation. Nick was phenomenal every step. Every interaction Nick was above and beyond, and I would use him every time I came in if I needed to We are very happy and I’ve already told several of my friends if you need anything go to Nick! Is knowledge, understanding, and ability to hear my needs and concerns and articulate easily understandable answers to me, was incredible and very much appreciated. I had full confidence in my decisions with Nick’a help.
I have been to this store many times and the service is always great. There’s normally one guy that’s always there and he’s so kind, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things. Today I stopped in to drop off a lot of old batteries and he explained that his store accepts old rechargeable batteries, but alkaline batteries can be thrown in the trash. Now I know. I really appreciate the great service that’s provided every time I visit this store.
I was having a rough day and my dead battery topped it! I arrived at interstate not exactly myself and Nick, attendant, was very sweet and understanding. I felt very understood and comfortable. I appreciated the fact that he "got me"! He waved the installation fee due to me not having the tools with me to install the new battery. I am extremely grateful to the gentleman that let me be me!! Thank you so much Nick and Demarquise for your hospitality and genuine care and concern! I will speak highly of your establishment!

Very friendly. Quick, and what I consider as exceptional service! I would suggest the management consider putting up a tent for the guys to work under while they install the battery. Too hot to work uncovered.
I have installed Interstate batteries in several vehicles that I've owned and referred close friends there. The batteries are excellent and the service is always top notch. BUT...
On this particular visit, the service was very poor. The technician looked up begrudgingly from his phone as if I was interrupting him from something more important. He made minimal effort to help me with my battery issue, and huffed and puffed through the process. At my truck, he took it upon himself to tear off the battery blanket, instead of disconnecting the terminals first. When I asked why he did that, he said, "Aw, you don't need that." Then he flippantly tossed it aside.
When he installed the new battery, I asked "What about red terminal cover." He said he didn't see it because I was hovering over him. When he tried to replace it, he found that he had installed the cable crooked, and huffed and puffed some more.
When that whole ordeal was over, I was glad to be done dealing with him.
I've been to this store at least three times before, and I will go back again if I need to. But next time I'll all for the manager.
Wow!! Gerik went above and beyond to help!!! They even had the exact batter I needed for an old flip phone!!! Absolutely saved the day!!! Now my mom, whose in a nursing facility, can communicate with us and call her friends!!! Gerik checked my car battery and alternator while I was there!!! The AT&T store was no help at all, but Interstate Battery in the Forum offered the best customer service!!!!! Can't thank them enough!!!
Wish that I could give a zero star rating. I had an Interstate battery in my wife's car. The battery was bad, so it took it to the Interstate Battery in Selma. They could not test the battery until they charged it for 24 hours. They finally called me back 7 days later to let me know that the battery failed, which is what I told them that it would do. I ended up replacing the battery with a different brand as I couldn't leave a vehicle out of service for 7 days, just for a battery. When I told them this, they said "OK". The people at the location are worthless and they do not care at all about customers. I have spent a lot of money over the years on Interstate batteries, but I will never do it again. I even gave up 45% warranty replacement. The whole company is worthless.
Update: I have a very nice conversation with the store manager. He is making it right. I had purchased several batteries from them in the past and they had always taken care of me. I believe, after our conversation, that the company's and the manager's ethics are good. I will be an Interstate Battery customer again.

I needed battery replacements for my home alarm system, so I called ahead to see if they carried the model I needed. Meghan was able to verify they did have it- saving me lots of time running around town (and $).
Then I found out I also needed the 6-pack AA cell battery pack replaced, so I came back to the store and Santana told me he could rebuild one for me. While I was waiting, I sat and read a magazine in the comfy seating area. I noticed the manager had hooked up a charging station for customer’s cell phones with an Interstate car battery- how thoughtful!
Overall, a productive visit- able to get exactly what I needed, at a fair price, and with a friendly staff. Good job!
When I need another battery- I will think of your store first.

I bought my battery here in July of 2017, and now 14 months later, it has a bad cell. I drove up, they put the tester on it. confirmed the bad cell. removed the old battery, installed a new battery and total cost was $21. Would have been free if I wanted to install the new one myself, but I didn't. Also, the new battery came with a new warranty date, so I have 3 more years of free replacement. I am very impressed with the service and warranty! I am now a lifetime customer of Interstate Batteries!
The associate I worked with was named Raquel and she was very professional and very courteous. The store closed at 7pm and I arrived at 6:30 and Raquel was very understanding and was quick to test the battery and determined the battery was indeed bad and advised it would be covered under warranty and completed the transaction efficiently.
Had a 160 dollar battery or so that I as told was under free replacement warranty. I drove 45 minutes to get there only to be told that it was 45 percent off a new one. The price I would have had to pay is 75 dollars. The battery was 2.5 yrs old. The sticker said 6 year performance.... I own a small service business and have 7 vehicles some with more than one battery. I am now buying the 50 value battery from Walmart as I can get same time out of it and replace it 25 dollars cheaper . Will never buy interstate again. If you care about customer service you won't either.

Excellent customer service over the phone and in person. Found me a replacement for a hard to find 88 pound military battery at a discount price. Got it in 2 days instead of two weeks. Replaced a dubious unit w a brand new one, no hassle, done in 10 minutes, no charge. Fresh coffee and cookies. Superb outfit. Great management and courteous, professional staff.

Had a cordless battery that wasn't made anymore. I was advised to go to Interstate All Battery Center. They fixed my cordless problem. Sense batteries were the subject, I mentioned both my vehicles batteries. Two bulging Optima Yellow Top batteries I installed. He checked the one in the truck and explained my particular situation, problem solved. And, my newly installed key fob battery was dead. He checked it and found the transmitter button was stuck and draining the battery. They fixed the button and installed a new battery.
Three battery issues solved in one trip. Knowledgeable, prompt and friendly service.
Also, my brother-in-law reminded me of my nephews wheelchair battery delema years ago. Electric wheelchairs cost as much as a new car. Well, he had the use of his hands, as weak as it was. His batteries failed and instead of new batteries a new chair was the only optioned offered. For him it was a very serious proposition. His body had morphed into the chair because of his condition. A new chair would mean new pains, sores and serious discomforts and probable medical complications. Interstate All Battery Center found affordable batteries with a few mods. My nephew was relieved and happy.
There is no substitute for EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING.
