Bexar Towing Prays on Human Error! Must be perfect to avoid this shady company waiting on people to put the wrong time at a parking lot.
Bexar has a team of several that sit and wait, praying on the week. A tow person camped out to grab our car with 20min over our 2hrs! Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Wife is pregnant and we got drug around town because of Bexar’s evil company. Could you imagine taking advantage of humans accidentally not putting the perfect amount of time on the card. We put 2 hours then came out of a movie at 2 hours and 18minutes. Our car had already been towed. Whoever runs this parking lot must be sad taking advantage of the weak & accidental error.
This place is sorry I went to my brother's apartment complex at regency Manor I wasn't there long at all parked at the visitors parking in the back like I always do and they still towed my car I wasn't even there 5 minutes 10 minutes maybe. They were just doing their rounds and decided to tow my car wasn't even there that long and I just got my car yesterday this is an outrage and then they hung up on me when I explained that I needed my car back I wasn't even there long and that they told me and I was parked in the visitor section this is the worst place ever!!!!
I parked in front of my apartment like I have been doing for a year. The parking spot next to mine is a fire zone and I never park there! They towed my car saying it was in the fire zone. Flat out lied. supposedly they take pictures and I asked to see them because I know they're lying and they said that I'm only allowed to see the pictures if I take them to court. This is the most dishonest shady disgusting sketchy place that rips off innocent people It's horrible how they get away with it!
Scam. We parked our vehicle on an outside lot, nearly empty, and paid. We found out our vehicle was towed 10 minutes later. We will not be back to downtown. There are so many terrible reviews. Wish we would have known. Shame on Platinum Parking for using this disreputable company.
They just towed my vehicle I just bought and me and my daughter recall putting handicap sticker on, and it was told because the handicap sticker was not visible, which is total bull! I take make sure I’ve been at my apartment 7 years and they didn’t recognize that it was my vehicle. It has been reported to bbb and to the new anchor Ryan wolf from Fox San Antonio.
Getting your car towed is never a great experience, especially when it’s unexpected. However when I called and spoke with Norma she made the experience far less painful. She was polite, professional, and a breath of fresh air among the towing community.
We were left stranded in the rain and no vehicle in sight. At first I thought someone stole my truck ,asked someone and they said the tow had just came by about 10 minutes. I had my handicap grandmother with me in a wheelchair . Called the company to turn around and I will pay whatever it costs because I had my grandmother. Apparently they already had it in their lot but I doubt it. They had just towed it. So I was left stranded with my handicap grandmother in the rain and they did not give a crap. She told me to find a ride over there in order to take it out. Told her the situation and i was hung up on. It is not about the money. I have the freaking money. It was the fact that my grandmother had to sit in the rain while I had to find us a ride because they did not want to turn around. I could care less about the cost. Lying, Selfless, cold hearted and greedy. Karma will get you guys for doing us like that.
Good service , read the bad reviews which isn't true , they make the process easier hope these people have a blessed day and they also deserve a raise. Hard working women for the WIN!
Edit: I did NOT write this review! The lady working with me had my phone for a minute and while she did she took it upon herself to write this bogus review. It is not 5 stars and she does not deserve a raise. She made us wait in the hot with our little baby girl while busy flirting with the man next to us.
VMs uses predatory methods to try and charge you. They towel cars while you checking in to get you parking permit and are part in guest parking. Then claim it’s not them . They make you wait after you fill out there online forms just because they can even tho they don’t have anyone waiting.
Scam company the me me from a handicap with DV plates with a wheelchair on license plate. They are scam Artist had to pay over $200 and employee will laugh in your face and say haha you got your car towed. I will be calling the bbb and my credit card to file fraud on this company as I served 15 years in the military to park in handicap parking
Very Rude women picking up calls… worse experience ever. I called just asking to see if my car was there lady giving attitude on phone, girl if you like ur dammm job , find a new career, cause clearly this ain’t it . When going in person even worse another lady was also trying to ask for basic information on what she had to do to get seen and lady working there yelling her voice at her to get behind gate so she can get seen, she didnt even explain to her she had to scan code and sign in, we don’t even work there and we told her to scan code so she can put car info so they can call her name up, after we told her some guy came out trying to help her after a couple of mins like dammm she could have just told her when she asked you , everyone in the line was hearing that she talking to customer very rude, when she was up there just asking what she had to do….. y’all need new staff members! Cause the ones y’all have working currently are straight up rude, talk about customer service! And the towing people y’all have working for y’all the same , y’all need to get people that know how to load the vehicles ,cause y’all causing property damanges! Get people that know what there doing!!!! I was charged 234.41 for only 5 hours! Which is also crazy on y’all’s prices!
Came to six flags all the way from El Paso Tx, stayed with my wife's friend at apartment complex Prose Westover Hills and I got towed , no reserved parking or anything labeled not to parked there... paid 230 for towing ? Rateros all my dashboard lights where on when I picked up my truck
A bunch of women who hate their job as I would too. Valeria who answers the phone was rude hung up on me 3 times and placed me on hold when I kept calling to get information on my car that was Illegally Towed. When I got here Christy on the window was extremely rude unprofessional and smelled like marijuana inside the building.They have it super tinted so I couldn't confirm my speculation of the influence of these women. Do me a favor fix management because these people are NOT PROFESSIONAL at their job. Have empathy for the people who you are inconveniently having to come here stand for a whole hour. Not to mention they're taking their breaks and lunches while people are standing out here in the heat. Very unprofessional. I'm not even mad that they towed me I'm mad at the service that I've received.
If i could put 0 stars I would that’s how disgusting this place is. Zenaida Deluna is probably the most incompetent person to ever work in service I have ever encountered. She is disrespectful and quite literally childish. Our vehicle was towed despite our QR payment at the parking lot. My Husband and I will be taking this to fraudulent behavior to the bank because there are MULTIPLE charges on our account. Corresponding to customers as “we’re tweaking” instead of addressing the charges in my bank statements. They are completely rude and a disgrace of service workers. Makes sense why they make people’s lives miserable working as a towing company window service. They have nothing better to do.
Towed my truck and stamped it after 16 minutes past the unpaid 2 hr window from the restaurant across the street at the River Center, total BS!!! It had to have been less than 5 MINUTES!!! There's no way they had that thing on the rack after I showed up at 6' after and it was long gone and I was down the street with visibility to the parking lot exit! They had to have been hawking it and put it on the rack as soon as the time hit to be out of there within 5... Complete vultures!!!!
Stupid con people. Told my vehicle knowing full my vehicle belonged to me in my parking spot. "We dont know whose vehicle it is" Dealers plate been on it for 30 days. You cant take a vehicle w/o a name and adress. You know it belongs here. Also you to took a vehicle displaying government parking permit.
If anyone is going to San Antonio, TX and is visiting the RIVERWALK. Do not, I repeat DO NOT PARK at 212 College st, parking garage, it sits across the street from a Night club. It is a SCAM, they get you to pay $5.00 an hour, with there BIG FANCY SIGN!, then they TOW your vehicle. They have you scan a QR code to park, it leads you to believe that you paid. But, in reality, you didn't. You will be TOWED to Vehicle Management Solutions/Creswell Wreckers 1012 W Laurel St 78201. They made $1000's and $1000's of dollars that night. You should have seen the long line of people waiting in line to get their car out out of impound. This happened to my friends car, who had come down to visit us at the Riverwalk. Please let friends and Family know of this place. Stay away from 212 COLLEGE ST San Antonio, TX Parking Garage. Google earth it to see the PARKING GARAGE.
The first thing they should do with such high fines is fix their app, because it honestly seems very suspicious and shady. The app wouldn’t even load, and it didn’t let us pay. We tried with multiple phones. I was there the day of the Shakira concert, and while we were trying to figure out where our car was, the tow truck took three more cars in addition to ours. I truly believe they’re stealing from citizens. It’s so unfair — and to make it worse, we’re from out of town, from Arkansas, and we had a horrible experience thanks to this parking service.
Thankfully, there were other people around, and we warned them. They also couldn’t get the app to work, so we told them not to park there at all, and they avoided a terrible situation and a ticket because of our warning.
We were parked for just 10 minutes because we were trying to confirm whether the concert had actually been canceled — and even so, the tow truck took our car. And if that wasn’t enough, we saw another tow truck taking another car, and the driver almost ran over the owner of that car.
We had one hour left on our time and good thing we showed up cause they were going to tow us!!! That is BS! This happened today, June 12, lot by River center Mall. Time was 8:15. But we paid till 9:15! There were three tow trucks there from Crestwell.
READ THIS IF YOU GOT TOWED: you’re going to want to read this comment because I may have information to help you dispute your tow. I got towed by these people and I filed a formal complaint with the TDLR, your choices to dispute are to file a claim with them or to take them to small claims court. When they send you an email after you pay the ticket there’s all the info on where to go to file the complaint, you have 14 days if you want to take it further and dispute in front of a judge. Make sure to read the TDLR website for all the reasons that would delegitimize the tow. If they didn’t report it to police for instance, or if there wasn’t proper signage where you got towed. Also, their phone number that’s listed in the ticket in the email is the the towing companies phone number too, the operators say it’s a different company but they are owned by the same entity and have the same address. The operators CAN connect you to someone that works for Mcjam they just don’t do it because they don’t want to let people dispute the tows. They were also on the news (KENS5) for giving a woman a ticket when she did indeed pay for parking, the only reasons she got refunded was because she was on the news. So they make it almost impossible to get through to them. Best of luck if you got towed.
Ridiculously expensive, even though my car was for just one hour it was $238. They took it from Heritage Plaza Apartments smh. You better check you click enter on your guest parking code before closing Google, they don’t care if you’re a resident, no tickets, no warnings, straight to this facility
I paid for 2 hours, my car was towed after being there 45 minutes! I got back to my car with 48 minutes left to find my car gone. It was towed! They claim it wasn't registered but the driver didn't bother to get off his but and look at the socket in the window showing it was legal and registered! I tried to dispute it but for no answer back from them. They are scamming anyone parking in the downtown lots near the Alamo. The locals near by at the hotel said they do this all the time
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I would rather drive my car through the gate and pay to fix my front bumper than give them my money. my car wasn't even in the lot for 8 hours and they still charged me $234. the towing company has an OPTION to notify you that you're about to get towed, and they don't. there's a base fee for everything, so no matter how fast you can get there, it'll still be the same and there's no way to get the price lower because they don't care. if you end up leaving your wallet in your car, you're basically screwed out of getting your car back.
I understand there are rules in apartment complex we just moved into. And we had park our truck at far end and I'm back with trailer and complex has no parking besides asing area so we park in back a not using area and yes we park and there was alot off room to park at least 100 cars so we did not block a fire lane but we di take up multiple spots. So I can see we're maybe we did screw up. But I guess this tow service company works on quote. Cause they picked it up and took it away. The sad thing is that probably coukd have placed a warning tag only saying cause we were not actually violating fire lanes, etc.
But the worst part is they wanted to charge almost tho 1000 to take it out. Plus they gave me the excuse that the company has no direct number so the place was only a storage location so they couldn't help me.
Then, to top it off, our trailer was wreak, and the truck alliement is out. The trailer has a hole on top like a tree was hit.
I'm going to possibly get legal advice. Cause then on top of this we lost a job cause we did not show up until late.
We unknowingly parked our vehicle in a tow zone as we are not from San Antonio, TX. The storage company representative admittedly stated that the tow truck drivers are like "vultures" because they are parked in the parking lot waiting for someone to mess up. There is a golf course next door. A gentleman in a golf cart pulled up and felt the need to apologize to mulitple people who got their vehicles towed from this empty parking lot that is right next door from the restaurant we dined at. There was no chain separating the parking lot indicating the rules. To top it all off we picked up our vehicle with new damage and when we tried to question the storage facility they said they couldn't do anything for me because I had already exited their premises (even though I had literally just driven off the parking lot and was parked right in front of their facility). When I called the customer service team I asked for the tow truck driver info. They hung up on me about 8 or 9 times because they said it wasn't their fault my vehicle got towed and it wasn't their job to give me the contact info for the tow company. They told me to refer to an email I was supposed to receive that supposedly has the contact info but still refused to give me the information over the phone. After calling multiple times and being hung up on over and over again a rep finally answered and said, "I'm only going to say this once" and read out the email address I had been asking for. This is a scam. People trying to enjoy their weekends and have to deal with insensitive
Individuals like this all so they can have extra money in their pockets. It's terrible. They are terrible employees who lack empathy or customer service skills.
SAPD AND VSF TOWING are doing a great job at stealing money from people here in San Antonio. My nephew parked his car in a spot that wasn’t disclosed for towing yet the tow driver/Police officer just waited for him to get out of his car and hooked him up. These objects of financial gain because I can’t describe them as people are the lowest of the low you can find his car was towed at 8:45pm we arrived at the lot at 10pm they charged $235.

The lot , maybe half a block , was in a hurry , Then I got back close enough to pay for the parking after a few minutes , and guess what , By that time ( 10 min ). Truck was gone .

No red line, no fire hydrant, there was just a pole, a pole that had a sign saying what? I have no clue yet, so how is that my fault?
Now I had to pay $230 to take my truck back out? No help whatsoever, they “don’t” have the number for the towing place, this place sucks, no wonder why they have a 1.5 star.
My car was park at my apartment at Hardy Oaks and my car was towed by mistake. The tow guy ripped the front end of my bumper, now I have an oil leak and the next day I had a flat. I feel now no one is going to take responsibility of my car, it's sad that someone can take your property and damage it.
I WAS ILLEGALLY TOWED. I am a RN working for Hospice, this company saw me running after my vehicle full scrubs and medical gear chasing after them after taking my car and did not stop kept going. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: 235 bucks later, now my check engine light is on and my tire grinds bad when I turn my vehicle to the right. This company is trash!!!
