Zero stars. If I could give negative stars, I would. Apparently paying for parking and still having time left on the meter means absolutely nothing here, because they towed my vehicle with 7 minutes STILL remaining on paid time.
So let’s recap: follow the rules, pay for parking, come back before time expires… and your car is gone. Brilliant system. We were left standing in a parking lot with five kids trying to figure out where our vehicle went, along with multiple other families doing the exact same thing. Another person in our group was towed too, which says this is less of a “mistake” and more of a business model.
Then the grand finale — $240 to get my own car back. And when I called? Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I was told that whether they were right or wrong, I still had to pay and could “take them to court” later. How convenient.
Nothing says trustworthy business like towing legally parked cars, charging outrageous fees, and treating customers like they’re the problem.
If this happens to you, don’t just pay and move on. Report them to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation so there’s an official record. Predatory practices like this shouldn’t be ignored.
I literally had just gotten home (I live in apts) from the hospital (my 9mo old is sick) and about 20-30 minutes later my car gets towed. I didn’t hear it since I was putting my babies to sleep. My neighbor lets me know my car was towed and so here I am calling them to find out why. The girl was unprofessional on the phone(even upon arrival to the location) they said my car didn’t have the tag for paid parking, which when I got there the tag was at the bottom (if fell off) and still charged about $250. Why is there even an additional charge to pay with card (3.5%). They didn’t even provide me proof of no parking tag on the vehicle
They circle the complex multiple times a day and throughout the night eager to find people to tow. No warnings, no mercy. They tried to two my car once because my tires were touching the grass by an inch. Had to pay $80 to the drivers personal cash app to make them stop…
Predatory vultures. Also the people working the desk hide behind opaque glass and get really sensitive if you're any body language indicating you might not be super happy that they towed your car less than 5 minutes after your parking session expired. They will yell at you from their loud intercoms, threaten to hold your car, and just generally be miserably mean people. They will make your wife and children wait outside near vagrants while you retrieve your vehicle. They will wait several minutes to let you out of the impound. This business should be shut down.
They towed my truck from where I live because they said it was parked on the grass, but there isn't even any grass there, and it wasn't parked in that spot anyway. What they're saying makes no sense. They didn't leave any notice saying where they took it, and on top of that, they stole $234.41 from me. This place is a total rip-off. I showed them pictures of where my truck is always parked, and you can see the tire tracks where I park, but they're lying. They're just making up excuses to tow cars and steal people's money.
Truly vile human beings working here. Used profane language and had a strange sense of entitlement. Incredibly predatory practices. A business that deserves nothing but contempt. They are fully aware of how disgusting what they’re doing is and they’re proud of it. Lady straight up said they’re predatory when speaking with them on the phone and she giggled while saying it. Folks who enjoy ruining peoples day are such sad pathetic wastes of space and deep down they know it.
Got my car towed a couple hours ago and wasn't even illegally parked. I was at my friends place for a few hours and I go down to leave for work and my car is gone. I went up there so see why they towed my car and the lady was beyond unprofessional and threw my driver's license at me. Told her I could get my car in the morning when I get off work and she said oh we open at 9am and when thats a lie because the website says 24 hours. This company is nothing but a bunch of thieves, liars, and disrespectful people.
Towed my vehicle late at night while I was at an apartment and since I was asleep when they took it I was unaware. I woke up the next morning, got ready for work and went out to find my car gone! Turns out it was taken 30 minutes away. Had to call out from work. Pay an uber to go get my car. Turns out by the time I realize my car is gone they charged an overnight fee too! The price apparently goes up every 12 hours which is ridiculous. I was alone and this place feels so sketchy. The windows to talk to someone are one way windows. So the whole time they can see outside but I never saw a single face. They made me pay and sign and just said “ok go find your car.” So I’m just walking around the yard with no direction to my car.
Also keep in mind there was a sign stating that no repairs can be done in the yard. So if your car doesn’t start you have to call ANOTHER tow truck to get it out. It’s all bogus.
Oh this is that place where you got your towed in the apartment complex this is where it comes right here! It's been several times over many years I've had to come retrieve my towed vehicle from this vehicle storage facility. It's generally Criswell Towing. I'm sure there's many apartment complex' that have unauthorized vehicles towed here to this place.
You can count on initial towing cost to retrieve your vehicle anywhere from $275 to $325 just the first 24 hours that it gathers dust on the lot.
Everyday it's approximately $20 additional.
Overall the new fresh updated improvements to the facility do look nice and everybody is as professional as you are nice to them.
They wrongfully towed my car and me and my boyfriend had to pay $240 to get it back. We went at 5:30 am and didn’t get the car back until almost 7:30 am. We were standing outside in cold weather for 2 hours. These people are definitely running a scam and need to be reported to the Texas Department of Licensing. I also suggest everyone to dispute the charges made and get your money back.
Towed/stole my car in a regular parking spot that I parked for a year in my complex!!! Oh this place is something else I wish I could give a negative star, first off while i was picking my car up in a line of 40 people that got there cars STOLEN to, they’ll brake your car and say it’s on you to call another tow company to pick it up from there lot lol you can’t even jump ur own vehicle (my vehicle was fine and was able to get it after 240$!) but felt bad for all those other people, second my complex is closed nobody’s here so how did someone call you in the back of the complex that my cars parked normal in a parking space? Don’t make no sense these guys are thief’s obviously!! And it was right after thanksgiving who does that yall are a sick company we have enough problems in this world to wake up to our cars being stolen by a company like this stay clear of them!
Very predatory practices. No access to a live person via telephone. No listed hours of operation to pick your vehicle up. I can only assume this is done on purpose to prolong the amount of days your vehicle sits because they charge an extra fee of $22.85x2 (roughly$ 45.7) per day that your vehicle is on their lot. My husband and I are from out of town, he’s here on military orders and I came to visit for Thanksgiving, we parked after hours in an empty business lot to pick up a to go order for food to bring back on base. We were gone for 20 minutes and within that time so was our car. We spent the next 30 trying to figure out if our car was stolen only to realize it had been towed away. We took a gamble and ubered at 9:30 PM to a sketchy area praying they were open after having no luck finding business hours or a telephone number to a live person or automated info with business hours. We arrived and waited 58 minutes before we were able to retrieve our vehicle. Thankfully, we got our vehicle back same day/night. Unfortunately, a lady ahead of us had her vehicle damaged and drove out of the gate to get back in line and address the issue. She was told there was nothing they could do because she had already drove the vehicle off of the lot. Also, they can’t tell you where your vehicle is on their lot so you’ll have to walk around hitting your alarm button to find it (Kinda humorous, kinda not) Word of advice, if you find yourself in the same situation, GO GET YOUR CAR IMMEDIATELY BEFORE HAVING TO PAY EXTRA FEES ON TOP OF THE INITIAL FEE AND CHECK EVERY CREVICE OF YOUR CAR BEFORE DRIVING OUT OF THE LOT!!
Everyone needs to report these people to The Texas Department of Licensing and regulation to have them shut down for illegal towing vehicles. This place is shady and will tow vehicles even when parked legally because they know we have no choice but to pay. The people that work there are rude, angry and act superior than everyone else talking down to the people that go pick their vehicles up. They need to be stopped, together we can have them shut down for good and investigated.
Attention people of San Antonio this company is a scam! Make sure you make your payments! Make sure you don’t park in parking lots where they are serviced by this department. They have towing like a big game of “who can tow the most cars in one night”. In my experience I parked at the parking lot on 353 W Crocket Street to attend a Sister Grimm tour. Upon my arrival my car AND MANY more had been towed in a matter of minutes! Please be alert and aware. I paid 240$. It took almost an hour to get my car out.
When I approached this place there was already a line! And while I waiting the line grew longer. While waiting I seen 4 cars being hauled into the parking lot!!
Just be aware people. Don’t leave your cars and pay every penny or it’s towed in seconds.
I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my wife received from Monica Rubio. When we came for my wives car, my wife clearly stated that she is disabled and needed accommodation. Instead of showing basic professionalism or empathy, Monica refused to provide service because I was there even tho I need to be there to relay messages for my wife. When I asked her directly if she was denying a disabled person service, she responded yes.
Monica’s behavior wasn’t just dismissive — it was demeaning and discriminatory. My wife’s disability affects her ability to communicate, and rather than being patient or respectful, Monica made snarky comments about it. When my wife attempted to speak, Monica responded in a mocking tone, saying, “Oh, now you can talk.” No one, especially someone who struggles to communicate due to a disability, should ever be spoken to like that.
This conduct raises serious concerns about discrimination against individuals with disabilities, which is unacceptable and goes against ADA standards, ethical conduct, and basic human decency.

Terrible customer service by " men " sitting in the front desk . i called asking for information . i informed him the truck was towed in error as it was registered in the apartment complex. I asked how we could resolve as this issue has happend before. The first time, they apologized and had me pick up my truck at no cost . This person was rude and sassy ! Saying there was nothing he would do for me and did not even bother to look up my plate . I tried to explain to him the steps they took before as a very nice lady once helped me with no issues . He wouldn't let me talk he was talking over me the entire call . He called his manager " Val " on the phone and she said " is she on the phone ? send her away !" very unprofessional . I hope someone listens to this call , and the " gentleman " gets proper training to address Customers . Also " Val " could of address my issue but also lacks professionalism. Never have i ever experienced such a terrible service ANYWHERE ! call was on 11/02 /25 8:11 am .
Bexar Towing Prays on Human Error! Must be perfect to avoid this shady company waiting on people to put the wrong time at a parking lot.
Bexar has a team of several that sit and wait, praying on the week. A tow person camped out to grab our car with 20min over our 2hrs! Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Wife is pregnant and we got drug around town because of Bexar’s evil company. Could you imagine taking advantage of humans accidentally not putting the perfect amount of time on the card. We put 2 hours then came out of a movie at 2 hours and 18minutes. Our car had already been towed. Whoever runs this parking lot must be sad taking advantage of the weak & accidental error.
I parked in front of my apartment like I have been doing for a year. The parking spot next to mine is a fire zone and I never park there! They towed my car saying it was in the fire zone. Flat out lied. supposedly they take pictures and I asked to see them because I know they're lying and they said that I'm only allowed to see the pictures if I take them to court. This is the most dishonest shady disgusting sketchy place that rips off innocent people It's horrible how they get away with it!
Scam. We parked our vehicle on an outside lot, nearly empty, and paid. We found out our vehicle was towed 10 minutes later. We will not be back to downtown. There are so many terrible reviews. Wish we would have known. Shame on Platinum Parking for using this disreputable company.
They just towed my vehicle I just bought and me and my daughter recall putting handicap sticker on, and it was told because the handicap sticker was not visible, which is total bull! I take make sure I’ve been at my apartment 7 years and they didn’t recognize that it was my vehicle. It has been reported to bbb and to the new anchor Ryan wolf from Fox San Antonio.
Getting your car towed is never a great experience, especially when it’s unexpected. However when I called and spoke with Norma she made the experience far less painful. She was polite, professional, and a breath of fresh air among the towing community.
We were left stranded in the rain and no vehicle in sight. At first I thought someone stole my truck ,asked someone and they said the tow had just came by about 10 minutes. I had my handicap grandmother with me in a wheelchair . Called the company to turn around and I will pay whatever it costs because I had my grandmother. Apparently they already had it in their lot but I doubt it. They had just towed it. So I was left stranded with my handicap grandmother in the rain and they did not give a crap. She told me to find a ride over there in order to take it out. Told her the situation and i was hung up on. It is not about the money. I have the freaking money. It was the fact that my grandmother had to sit in the rain while I had to find us a ride because they did not want to turn around. I could care less about the cost. Lying, Selfless, cold hearted and greedy. Karma will get you guys for doing us like that.
Came to six flags all the way from El Paso Tx, stayed with my wife's friend at apartment complex Prose Westover Hills and I got towed , no reserved parking or anything labeled not to parked there... paid 230 for towing ? Rateros all my dashboard lights where on when I picked up my truck
A bunch of soulless vultures. They stole my veteran family members truck from the Parking lot at PopStroke. The signs were inconspicuous and we weren’t the only ones there. Several other people who had their cars stolen at the PopStroke parking lot were there as well. Cigars international has these tiny signs and apparently claim a portion of the lot as their own. And if you don’t see the signs they send these predators to steal your car and charge insane fees. $200+ per hour. Why is the city of San Antonio allowing this? Absolutely disgusting.
Towed my truck and stamped it after 16 minutes past the unpaid 2 hr window from the restaurant across the street at the River Center, total BS!!! It had to have been less than 5 MINUTES!!! There's no way they had that thing on the rack after I showed up at 6' after and it was long gone and I was down the street with visibility to the parking lot exit! They had to have been hawking it and put it on the rack as soon as the time hit to be out of there within 5... Complete vultures!!!!

Ridiculously expensive, even though my car was for just one hour it was $238. They took it from Heritage Plaza Apartments smh. You better check you click enter on your guest parking code before closing Google, they don’t care if you’re a resident, no tickets, no warnings, straight to this facility
We unknowingly parked our vehicle in a tow zone as we are not from San Antonio, TX. The storage company representative admittedly stated that the tow truck drivers are like "vultures" because they are parked in the parking lot waiting for someone to mess up. There is a golf course next door. A gentleman in a golf cart pulled up and felt the need to apologize to mulitple people who got their vehicles towed from this empty parking lot that is right next door from the restaurant we dined at. There was no chain separating the parking lot indicating the rules. To top it all off we picked up our vehicle with new damage and when we tried to question the storage facility they said they couldn't do anything for me because I had already exited their premises (even though I had literally just driven off the parking lot and was parked right in front of their facility). When I called the customer service team I asked for the tow truck driver info. They hung up on me about 8 or 9 times because they said it wasn't their fault my vehicle got towed and it wasn't their job to give me the contact info for the tow company. They told me to refer to an email I was supposed to receive that supposedly has the contact info but still refused to give me the information over the phone. After calling multiple times and being hung up on over and over again a rep finally answered and said, "I'm only going to say this once" and read out the email address I had been asking for. This is a scam. People trying to enjoy their weekends and have to deal with insensitive Individuals like this all so they can have extra money in their pockets. It's terrible. They are terrible employees who lack empathy or customer service skills.
Well, I couldn’t pay because got too far away I guess from The lot , maybe half a block , was in a hurry , Then I got back close enough to pay for the parking after a few minutes , and guess what , By that time ( 10 min ). Truck was gone . The most expensive 10 min of my life . Y the way , they are always waiting . . So. Please pay before you get out .
I WAS ILLEGALLY TOWED. I am a RN working for Hospice, this company saw me running after my vehicle full scrubs and medical gear chasing after them after taking my car and did not stop kept going. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!! This is how they treat medical caring for the dying and veterans of the United States!
No signs posted where I was towed. My lawyer will be in touch !!
UPDATE: 235 bucks later, now my check engine light is on and my tire grinds bad when I turn my vehicle to the right. This company is trash!!!
