My friend was notified that her car was being towed to this location. She called and the woman she spoke to on the phone told her that there her car was not there, and stated she did not care that the officer at the location it was towed from told her it was taken here. Then of course, it was there. After we arrived, myself and two other people went into the lobby to stay with my friend as it was nearly midnight and we were in an unfamiliar area. The same woman who answered the phone told us all to get out, and later told my friend she just doesn’t like people in the lobby because it makes her work slower. What? At the beginning, we were told it would take about 10 minutes or so to get the car. My friend went back and then was told by the same woman it would be another 30-45 minutes. We ended up waiting for her car for over two hours. Not to mention, we were the ONLY people there waiting to pick up a vehicle. This employee for some reason told another employee in front of my friend that “their boss said to prioritize paperwork over the customer” leading the other to say “you’re not supposed to say that in front of them”. Obviously, this review means nothing. This is a predatory business that does not value forced “customers”. There was nothing we could do about her car being towed and then were forced to spend the rest of our night in the parking lot waiting for this lady to finish her paperwork.

My son was stranded and called three other businesses before reaching Texas Towing. One of them didn’t answer, another quoted an outrageous price, the other one routed his call to an automated system. When he finally reached Texas Towing this business owner offered an affordable rate immediately. Realizing that he was speaking with a young driver, he made his way to my son in less than 20 minutes!! He delivered the vehicle our home and THEN processed our payment. It’s rare to encounter this kind of service - in a world where most people are securing their profits this man chose to secure a teenage boy’s safety. Way to go Texas Towing!!!

One of my truck broke down south of San Antonio and I called Texas Towing spoke with James, he was very professional and helpful, he send tow truck right of way also when I told him what might be wrong with the the truck he said that he got couple thoughts about it and recommended me a mechanic, great job, thank you so much

Very predatory, they stalk these paid parking lots and tow your vehicle, if you are even two minutes late. Then, you get over to the processing center, and they take maybe one person every thirty minutes. It takes hours to retrieve your vehicle. This is a very unsavory business.

2/5/26 Semi broke down in the middle of I-35. Roadside service said they will be here in 30 mins, dude showed up in 10 mins. I don’t know what happened but the pictures can give you an idea. This guy was very professional! He secured the rig and carefully inspecting everything for the towing process. He stopped traffic and opened passenger door of tow truck to make sure I got in safely.” Cut from a different cloth!” “ You don’t find’em like this anymore.” We sat waiting for company to tell us where to take it! Go hard or go home…this is how it’s done at Texas Towing!!!

This company went above and beyond when their driver demolished my mailbox. They had it replaced with a larger mailbox before noon the next day. Every one I spoke to was very nice and helpful. I don't blame the driver because he had to drop a low to the ground car with no key next to a curb. He did his best. Great company to work with.

CROOKS!! This company sent an outstanding bill for towing an abandoned boat I sold, 13 years ago, to a collection agency and against my credit. Despite me providing the proper documentation, which included the Owner Transfer Notification (PWD 1340) that was filed with TPWD, the email from TPWD confirming when the boat was sold, along with the new owner information, and a letter from TPWD confirming I was not the owner, the manager Jeff refused to acknowledge or accept what I sent. He refused to return my numerous phone calls. The collection agency didn't want to deal with me, only Texas Towing. After reporting them to BBB and the AG, they (the collection agency) finally accepted the documentation from me directly. I'm all for collection what is due to you, but fraudulently reporting to credit bureaus, after showing proof I haven't been the record owner for over 13 years, AND providing documentation of the correct owner (so they can go after them instead), you're just a crook that shouldn't be in a management position. Mariah at Texas Towing can confirm how many times I called to speak with Jeff, and how many times I told her he hadn't returned my phone calls. I did my part when selling the boat, filing the correct document to show I sold it, to avoid something coming back on me. People in a position like Jeff, should be fully aware of the laws before being made manager of any company.

Saddley they have contract with the city!! But even with them having that contract they have the rudest ,most disrespectful truck drivers in the world! Driver of truck 2137. Yelling at parents outside of a school waiting to pick up their students cussing at everyone and almost hit students!!! Train your drivers to have some respect, qnd self respect!

This company towed a vehicle that the police confirmed had current registration and insurance. They also proceeded to over charge the client. The charge on the credit card was (less than a dollar) more than what was written on the ticket. This is credit card fraud no matter how small the amount. This has been reported to the credit card company. Bottom line this is an unethical company.

Bexar county forced me to tow my totaled vehicle with this company after an accident. I paid to have it towed to a residence and when the vehicle arrived, the tow truck driver and his assistant pulled up DRIVING my totaled car (air bags deployed as well) after charging me $131 to tow it. First of all, it’s a safety hazard to drive a vehicle in that condition without knowing what issues it has now and a liability if they get injured driving a totaled vehicle with deployed airbags and locked seatbelts. I reached out and was told to leave my info about my complaint and still haven’t heard from anyone. I have camera footage of the vehicle being driven and dropped off. I filed a dispute with my bank as well. Please avoid using this company if possible..I know the Sheriff forces you to use it but if there’s any way to avoid it please avoid it!

You have to make sure whoever you speak to on the phone gives you the right information. I had to make two trips to this location because the woman who answered the phone gave me bad information. Make sure you have a valid driver license/ID when you go, I didn't have to have insurance when I got my car but I have a feeling that may change based off the person working. They are open 24hrs but after midnight they charge for another day. It's like $23 a day, plus tow fees and whatever else they might add when you go to pay for your vehicle. The employees were average nothing much to complain about, same basic shitty customer service attitude of someone who has either worked to long or hates their job all together. Don't bring extra people if you don't have to, because they won't let them stay in the building with you if they are not needed to pay or drive the vehicle off the lot. Besides that everything went smooth didn't have to wait long after everything was paid for.

Alex at the front desk has a foul attitude. My car was totalled and in the wreck my wallet was launched so I had to retrieve it out of my vehicle. You would think I asked the lady to do something above and beyond what her job requires the way that she treated me to have to go into that yard and get my stuff to get my property. I'm sorry I asked you to do your job that day.If you hate your job that much, you should probably get another one instead of taking it out on poor customers that don't even want to be dealing with you anyway....lazy, rude, foul....

Margaret and front desk lady were both amazing. Fast service and accurate! Bless their souls

They don't know how to treat others and are very rude!!! Don't use them for services in the San Antonio area!!!! Even the manager or Supervisor was mean!!!

Wow please tell me why you sent a tow truck to our location without tools. Literally asked them if they had the certain tools to do the job. After the driver gets here also he states that all he has is a cross that he thinks it will be to tight for him to break off and explains to me that the company don’t provide tools for them, company dispatch states the drivers proved their own tools. Miscommunication here and a waste of time. Honestly don’t call this company if they don’t even have the basic tools not worth your money or time

No one who gets their car towed is having a good day. But staff was nice and answered all my questions and made the process of getting my car back as easy as possible.

ZERO STARS PLEASE READ!!!!!!!
Darial was the driver he literally committed insurance fraud right in front of my face. He started asking what was wrong with it then he said to pop the hood then he STARTED my car then he grabbed a portable battery jumper and proceeded to place the terminals on my battery when I didn’t ask him to. Then I was like wth are you doing and he said it’s helping my steering “a little bit” like I don’t know about cars. Then he stated to tell my insurance company I want this service and that my insurance was going to call and he said to say I wanted that service. Then my insurance called me and I explained what he did then they explained that it wasn’t covered and I’d have to pay them 50$ luckily I explained what he did before that info. So the claims person got them on the line and I told them they were trying to commit insurance fraud and I wasn’t going to assist them and the guys from the towing company said “Oh you just don’t want to pay the 50$” let me tell you guys something. I work with insurance everyday. I can work on my car myself I’m not a dummy. I know what yall are trying to do. They ended up saying they weren’t going to charge me but I still felt the need to say something cause they came and tried bullying me and imagine if I was elderly or had any mental problems. That’s cause my INSURANCE company for my cars Warrenty sent this towing company. I’m definitely going to get yall caught with that slimey crap. I was raised by my grandparents and I’m not going to sit back and watch anyone get bullied or taken advantage of. Yall business is a sham. I give you ZERO stars and your driver you sent is SHADY and should be fired if yall don’t make them do this to people. All I wanted was a tow. My battery is brand new. Even the Christian Brothers Automotive mechanic laughed when I said the tow truck driver was trying to “fix my steering issue” with a portable battery jumper” Then the driver told me “It helped the steering abit” I looked at him in his eyes and busted out laughing cause he was trying to play me for a dummy. Also I had this same exact issue about 6 months ago and I know how it was fixed! This company got my blood running hot on a Tuesday with a FREE tow from my insurance I’m so dead. Can’t even enjoy my day off cause I’m trying to not get taken advantage of by a very untrustworthy company.

Super unprofessional will never use or recommend them. Richard picked up my car and was immediately rude to my husband and myself, along with the staff at the dealership. I was so embarrassed to have him be the one helping me. I had to apologize to the staff on his behalf because of his attitude so embarrassing and so disheartening.

I received a collections notice on my credit report from this company. I have never had any business dealings with this company and have never received any bills from this company. When I contacted them, I spoke with Maria who referred me to the collections agency. I asked for a supervisor, she told me one wasn't available and they would call me back. I asked when they would call me back and she said "when they get notified". I asked when they would be notified and Maria hung up on me. I contacted the collections company and they said I owed over $900 for the towing of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze in Rio Grande City, TX. I have never owned a Chevy Cruze and I have never been to Rio Grande City. They provide me a VIN for a vehicle that a 5 minute DMV report shows I never owned. Instead of spending 5 minutes researching the correct owner, this company chose to put a collections notification on my credit report. This is illegal and they are subject to direct and punitive damages for acting with reckless regard to Texas and federal law.

I want to share my appreciation for Texas towing. James and his right hand man Devon at the George west facility were a pleasure to deal with. We had 5 months of time to get to deal with each other while we waited on the insurance company to do their job. All the while they stayed in constant contact and made sure that my equipment was taken care of. Finally we got everything settled with insurance and I was able to get my equipment back. Devon met me at 10pm to help me get my trailer hooked up, strapped safely and on the road. James helped coordinate everything and this was much appreciated. Thank you guys and I will be recommending and using Texas Towing for everything Bar F Logistics needs done in south Texas.

Already filed a company with the Better Business Bureau. I recommend if you have any damages done to your car or that you have been a victim of theft from your vehicle to reach out to them. Enough is enough.
They completely destroyed the front of my vehicle and they are not taking no accountability .Jan 21, 2025 -
This company towed my car cause I was in an accident the Bexar county police department told me that I could have the driver tow my car to any address of my choosing but the tow truck driver said that because the air bag was deployed it had to go to their lot and now they are refusing to let me take my security equipment that I installed on my car from it I'm a security officer sergeant I told the tow truck driver that I wanted to have it towed to my friends house for the time being and that I would pay for it and he refused so they stole my car from me and want to charge me to get it back and it's not fair and shouldn't be legal at all I am posting pictures of my car and the tow truck that took my car they won't even let me get my license plates off my car

My car was towed at the behest of of the Bexar County Sheriffs Dept. When I called to get info the staff was very helpful. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly. A young man named Steve screwed my plates back on my car. Called back spoke to a man named Tommy he spent several minutes answering questions. He was very helpful and courteous.

These drivers are dangerous and need to be removed from the road. They should not be allowed to keep their license to operate in San Antonio. The only way we can make our roads safe again is if we close this business down.
I was coming up 151 and I was 100% on coming traffic, this driver had no right to even BEGIN to enter the access road until I passed him, but that didn't stop him. Then not only did he drive straight at me while I was in the far left lane, he then continued to drive INTO my lane almost running me and my family off the road. When I called the company to make a complaint, their response was OK. We need to do away with trashy companies like this.
If you see this kind of reckless driving PLEASE report it. Not only here in the reviews but to TDLR the government entity in charge of their license to do business. The more we report maybe someday they will take these maniacs off the road. Trying to add a link to the dashcam video of this incident, update coming soon.Jun 24, 2023 -
Beware on St. Mary's strip.
My vehicle was towed on E. Ashby on a residential street. There were absolutely no signs stating no parking. Surrounding Venues did warn me after the fact about tha tow truck scams as of late.
Texas towing also damaged my vehicle in the process.Nov 05, 2022 -
I backed my front right tire over a curb, which got stuck. My car needed to be lifted. I was able to call Texas towing and spoke to Santiago. He was able to send a tow truck onto Fort Sam Houston within 45 minutes. Trinidad and Paul were very professional and quick. They were able to find the location of my car on post on their own. They did a great job, and were very friendly

Well I learned something new, the Bexar County Sheriffs use Texas towing to impound vehicles. On New Year's Eve we loaned our vehicle to my boyfriends brother and because he has luck like we do, his year didn't start off good. He never arrived to his destination so immediately we called hospitals and the jail. We found out he had been arrested so I assumed that the car had been towed to Growdon Road, the impound used by SAPD. After several phone calls, we found our car, Texas towing had towed it to Steves Avenue. The guy working the night shift was friendly and was wearing his Covid-19 attire, his mask. He got us in and out of there quickly. We got our car in one piece however it had been pulled apart in the inside by, I'm assuming, the sheriffs. You would've thought El Chapo was driving our car....smh. Texas towing did a great job getting our vehicle to their impound.
