I was very surprised at how quick and easy the towing service was. Came within the hour and was professional! From admin to dispatch and vehicle pickup, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
I called for a tow for a car that was not drivable. I explained what was wrong on the phone and they asked me to pay $180 to use “special equipment.” They ended up doing body damage to my car and the guy who was towing it said “there’s nothing I can do.” Before and after pics of the tow. I received excellent towing service from City Pro Towing San Antonio after my car broke down on the interstate. The towing vehicle arrived in twenty minutes, and the driver was friendly and professional. I wholeheartedly support them.
I called them at 5 PM the day prior to when I needed my vehicle towed. I set an appointment for 8:45 AM the following day. At 7 AM they called to confirm my appointment but at 8:50, nobody was at my house yet. I called to see if the driver had been stuck in traffic and the dispatcher told me the driver was 10-15 minutes away. Then a couple minutes later I got a call from a different dispatcher telling me the driver was still 10-15 minutes away. 15 minutes pass and the driver calls me and tells me he is 10-15 minutes away. He also asks me if my car is lowered, I told him it was slightly lowered and he stated he would have to ask dispatch to send a flat bed since he was in a dolly pickup truck which would drag on the road. 10 minutes pass, no call back. I called and they stated there’d be a 25 minute wait for a flatbed. I told the dispatcher that they should’ve asked if my car was lowered and should have determined the type of tow truck I would need the day prior and the dispatcher blamed me. It was already 9:20 and I ended up still getting 3 more calls stating the driver was down the street from me all 5-10 minutes apart. The driver didn’t show until 9:55. The driver was polite and wasn’t the issue. The issue lies with the unprofessionalism and unreliability of the administrative employees. After all of that, I was still charged the full price of 200 dollars. The administrative staff needs to be trained on customer service and needs to step up their game. I will NEVER call this company out again and I do not recommend them to anyone. Thanks for wasting my time and for causing me to be late to work City “Pros”.

I had the good fortune to contact a San Antonio city towing business today. After being in an accident, I needed assistance putting my automobile back on the road. Fortunately, their tow vehicle showed very swiftly and efficiently loaded my car. Thank you very much for your assistance. This business has really saved my life! They told me that they would be able to pick up my car with 30-45mins. Before I paid, I asked if they would be able to take me & my 2 kids. They replied "yes". So I paid & they they called me back saying because of the new regulations that they wouldn't be able to take us all because there wasn't enough room. So this caused me to get an Uber. They then said it would be an hour wait. I left my car and waited at the auto place for 2hrs before they showed, which caused me to be put further back in line at the auto place. 5 hrs later, I finally can go home.
An hour after waiting I called to see where the driver was and they said he “wasn’t too far” driver calls 20 minutes later and says he will be here in 40 minutes! They did cancel it for me so I hope they stay true to their word and not charge me.
Worst towing experience ever. Save your money and call else where. Over 3 hours later and was still waiting. Kept calling the company to see where the driver was. I was told they would be there in an hours, next time I called in 20 minutes, the last time was less than 10 minutes. 1 hour later after the driver should have arrived we cancelled.
I was told the driver would call within 10-15 minutes and i waited about 30 minutes for that to happen. And then another 30 or so for them to show up when I was less than 5 miles from the business. A tow not even 10 miles away cost over $150. Maybe I’m just new to getting a tow but gosh darn that 15 minute drive for $150 was quite a pain.
