Bad service, tried to blame me the customer. Also had me drive to 3 different locations around the city for no reason. They did not have things in order and tow yards have no signs. The old African America man I was following was the only good help or service I got.
Trust your gut I wish I had. Do NOT ‼use this company.
This was the worst towing experience I’ve ever had, and I would give negative stars if I could. From the start, it took them over an hour just to get my truck set up to be towed while I stood there on the side of the road in the heat with my 7-month-old baby. I was even on the phone with Progressive asking if they could send a different company because these guys already looked incompetent. That should have been my red flag not to let them touch my truck. Instead, I ignored my gut and it cost me nearly $1,000.
This company towed my Ford F350 Super Duty and caused serious damage: they stripped bolts, broke the yoke, broke the U-joints all on the driveshaft and left my truck leaking differential fluid. The repair cost me $755.78 out of pocket.
When I first called about the issue later, the lady immediately asked me, “Did you sign a waiver?” which we did not. That question alone shows they were already looking to dodge responsibility from the start.
At first, Ricky (I’m assuming the owner) acted like he was concerned and even suggested a face-to-face meeting. He even told me, “My name is good in this town and I want to keep it that way,” as if he cared about resolving things. But after dragging it out for more than a week, giving me the runaround, and claiming he was “too busy,” his tone shifted fast from pretending to work toward a resolution to completely dismissing me.
I understand some people are dishonest, and I understand how the world works. But what genuinely disappointed me most was how this was handled. Instead of owning up, Ricky tried to make it sound like everyone else was the con the shop, me, anyone but himself. But let’s be honest: when a professional auto repair shop says the damage was caused by towing, and you were the one who towed it, that should be the end of the story. A professional would take responsibility and deal with it, not deflect and accuse others.
I also spoke with several other tow companies to get general information. They all told me the same thing: they would never tow a truck like mine without using a flatbed, because it risks exactly this kind of damage. The automotive shop confirmed the damage was caused by improper towing. But when I raised this with Tow Masters, Ricky dismissed it and said, “How do you know the shop didn’t break it so they can charge you?”
That alone tells me everything about his character. If you’re an honest business owner, you don’t make up shady scenarios like that unless that’s how you operate yourself. And then to laugh about it when it cost me nearly $1,000? Absolutely unacceptable. Don’t towing companies carry insurance for exactly these types of situations? Why was it so hard to get this handled?
Instead of taking responsibility, they only offered to cover $35 for the bolts while ignoring the rest of the cost. Ricky was rude, disrespectful, dismissive, and even laughed while telling his wife to hang up on me. The whole way they handled this was tacky, unprofessional, arrogant, and low class.
I’m now going through my insurance company to pursue legal action.
Bottom line Do NOT use this company. They will rip you off, damage your vehicle, laugh about it, and refuse to make things right. Horrible experience. Stay far away!
Somehow when I requested a flat tire change I was put in for a tow. I waited from 12:17pm-3:10 pm to be told that the tow truck doesn't have tire changing equipment on the truck. During the time I was waiting I called the dispatcher about 8-10 times if not more. Most of those times my calls went unanswered. Almost like my calls were being screened. If you ever encounter tow master please try to get someone else. They seem to be unorganized and overbooked.
Today has been a mess! But one simple call to Tow Masters & the fast and reliable communication and readiness they had for the fast service was GREAT! WILL definitely call them again if needed
I was having a horrible day, and needed roadside assistance. Trevor from Tow Masters was sent to help me. He was kind and understanding and was able to fix my problem in a flash and get back on the road. Will definitely call Tow masters again.
Not even mad the car was towed. Can’t get a price on it for another 7 hours? Can’t even get access to the vehicle for another 7 hours. How is that possible if it’s open 24 hours? I’ve picked up vehicles at 3am from other companies. They can’t even tell me why it’ll take that long. Strange, strange, strange.
They will tow your car, give you the run around about it and if the person whose name is on the title isn’t present to pick it up(out of state I was) they will give you a notice of 45 days to retrieve before it goes into auction. And at day 38, my vehicle was in the auction, and they said it was around 45 days.. not to mention I purchased the vehicle back from auction, only for all my tools, fishing gear/camping gear, $100 tow hitch setup were missing. Along with many other items were stolen and when I called them about it, they said they’re allow to take other people’s belongings. I say you stole my things, I never gave you permission to go through my things. And after getting my vehicle back, I ended up with security issues, so thank you guys for that!!
Only go to then if you’re not wanting the vehicle back.. The guy told my buddy who won the auction that he wanted to keep the vehicle, no wonder why they were giving me the run around at first, make sense now. Thieves with a license to steal is more like it!

Had my truck break down on a long distance drive, tow truck showed up earlier than estimated. Driver was super friendly, cracked some jokes which I needed after the long night in a parking lot, my AWD caused some complications for the towing but he got it all worked out while keeping a great attitude.
I wouldn't call if your in any type of rush. Requested there service through my insurance roadside assistance, they said the ETA was 45-75 min 135 mins later (2hrs 15 mins) I'm still waiting. After I called and my insurance provider called to see why the delay. No explanation or consideration for others time.
They were able to get on base and pick up my Chevy silverado and haul her to a mech shop. They were on time, respectful, and honestly.. fun to hang out with.
CJ was absolutely amazing! He came very quickly to change my flat tire. He even gave me recommendations on where to go to have it fixed. I will definitely be using this company again when needed.
Just had the worst roadside experience of my life, had a flat called for roadside and the tow truck driver literally had me get on the ground to undo the lift that heightens the car up for a tire change. My work clothes are all dirty and everything and he had a nasty attitude if I knew I was going to have to do work myself I would’ve struggled to change my I salvageable tire myself I had already waited 2.5 hours
Today I had to have my car towed. Will from Tow Masters came to get my vehicle. He was so knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. As a retired military paratrooper, I am used to being around professionals. This guy is awesome. He answered every question that I had effortlessly. The care that he took in getting my vehicle ready for tow was first class! It is great to see motivated and dedicated people do what they do. Great job Tow Masters! I will call you first from now on.
Will made my son the happiest he’s ever been in his 2 years of life… Will was on time, professional & great with my son! He knew my son was excited about seeing the tow truck come get mommy’s car, so Will called my son over & asked him if he wanted to do it! My son talked about the rest of the day & rewatched the video I took of him controlling the levers alllllll day long with a huge smile on his face. Honestly, the experience alone was worth the price of the tow! Give this man a raise!! Two thumbs up!!
Well, I would leave no stars but they don't give that option. We had to have a tow and Transit Pros sent Tow Masters to tow us back to town. After many issues over 4hours, and multiple tow trucks they were finally able to load the unit and transport it to their lot as it was now too late to take to the repair shop. There was damage to our rear mud flap and we sent pictures and videos to both companies and today Tow Masters called and said they determined that the damage was done prior to the tow even after the pics and videos. We are still trying to get a resolution but doubt that will happen without some type of attorney assistance.
I needed a tow. Put in a service request and in less than 20 minutes Will showed up. If these guys were outlaw gunslingers they would be kings of the Wild West. Fastest pick up ever. Super friendly service. 10/10 would get towed again.
NATHAN WAS FANTASTIC! Best person I could have had in that situation! Extremely friendly! Opened the door for me, made sure I was in their truck safely before started loading my car! Then offered me an auto shop let me know everything they could possibly do at the auto shop! He let me rant and understood that my day wasn’t going very well! I cannot speak to this business as an emergency towing company, only as parking enforcement for my neighborhood.
I am a resident of one of the neighborhoods this business contracts with to tow. I was away for about 35 days on military orders and returned to Killeen to a broken car. I spent a ton of time and money buying a new car and forgot to get it registered on a Friday night after a 12-hour work day, on the tail end of an already grueling week. In the dead of night my car was Towed.
The next mornjng I had to pay for an uber out to their lot and call the business 7 times over the course of an hour to finally get someone on the phone. 1 hour later, someone showed to release my car for $300. The employees and owner did not give a damn about my extenuating circumstances and were rude in discussing the situation with me. I lost a total of $315 and 3.5 hours of my Saturday to recover my vehicle.
Contractually speaking, I was in the wrong and should have immediately registered my new vehicle. But that doesn't excuse the COMPLETE lack of ethics or humanity displayed by this business. They take advantage of people and soldiers in already difficult situations, and make bank while doing it.
Nathan and Will were fantastic! Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly demeanor made a stressful situation much easier to handle. They arrived promptly, secured my vehicle expertly, and provided excellent service throughout. I highly recommend them and this company for anyone in need of towing assistance.
Just had my car towed from Cove to Killeen. I appreciate Jay, she was very skilled at her job and very down to earth. Did a perfect job, no issues and she helped me out tremendously by pushing my car all the way into my garage so I didn't have to push it by myself! Thanks again Jay, I appreciate your hard work!!
Fast response time and excellent customer service, specifically the tow driver, Will. Great communication, no issues with towing my vehicle. He went above and beyond when we got to the tire repair shop. Instead of just dropping the truck in the parking lot, he spoke with one of the repair technicians and was able to drop it straight into the bay. 10/10 recommend.

He had a Quick response time, informed me when he was on the way and once he arrived. He Handled my car with the upmost care as of it was his own. First encounter with this company was horrendous. Not only the staff was unprofessional over the phone. I assume the owner “Fallon Britt” but they did not uphold to their policy and take fault that it was there mistake to wrongfully tow my vehicle. My parking sticker was displayed clearly on the dashboard. As I spoke with the employee “Rickey Britt” to retrieve my vehicle he was very contradicting. Stating that “other vehicle owners display their parking sticker on the back window or license plate also, they use flash lights to locate the permit before towing”. The owner stated “that if the permit is visibly displayed that I would not have to pay”. The employee denied my request to check before paying to ensure that it was visible and said we had to pay regardless. Let it be at mind it was a new car and fresh tinted windows with UV windshield tint. It is why the parking sticker was not on the windshield. Still the company owner and employee did not care to take that in account. Stated “it was our fault for not letting them know a towing company that we tinted our windows”.
My Insurance recommended Tow Masters after an accident we had on a busy highway headed to Waco. We expected to wait at least a couple hours for someone to come. Will was awesome and got to us quickly. He knew what he was doing and gave us some peace of mind about our truck. They’re highly professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and kind. I’ll always use Tow masters from now on. Definitely worth it. Thanks y’all!
I was a nut head and forgot to put my sticker on my car for my apartment complex when I got a new car and got towed. I thought someone stole my car haha! This company got me an appointment ASAP. Paid my 245.00 and they gave me my car and still in great condition! Best company ever! Very happy and pleased for the quick turnaround. It was totally my fault and they were nice and friendly !
Waited over 3 hours. Didn't get any kind of communication about the driver being late. Didn't get any communication from the business till I called and said they were 30 mins out.Rickey was great! He was the only thing I liked about this experience.
