They diagnosed and fixed our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder very quickly and at a respectable/reasonable price. You can tell Kevin really cares about his customers and I can appreciate that. Sean and their tow guy are also very nice to work with. They all communicated in a timely and thorough manner. My husband and I truly appreciate them and will be taking our other car here for repairs within the next few months! Fantastic auto shop and also very nice on the inside!

Elite Automotive Group is where we take our 2015 LR4 when it needs service. Kevin, the service manager is great and takes the time to explain what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. I also purchased an extended warranty for this vehicle there because of the high cost to repair these cars. Marcel the owner, stands behind you as the customer even when the warranty company tries to exclude items with fine print. He goes the extra mile and beyond to fight for you as his customer, great communication and follow up throughout the process. If you have a high end European import car, you will not find a better place for service in middle TN.

Only place close to home I could find to work on my VW TDI that was professional. Got a trans flush and a diagnostic test ran. Staff was super communicative and keeping me in detail. Kevin’s the man and is very informative. I’ll definitely be coming back for further repairs and maintenance in the future. Super satisfied.

After relocating to middle Tennessee, I needed to find a shop to service our work vehicles as well as our personal vehicles. I tried multiple shops, but found that Elite Automotive was the most comprehensive and value based solution. Whether it’s simple services like oil changes or more significant items like bodywork or engine work, Elite Automotive has never disappointed. Regardless of the work being performed the team provides the care and attention for our vehicles. We truly feel like a welcome customer and not just another task in their day. I was very happy with the service and workmanship when I brought in my Golf GTI. They seemed knowledgeable about the platform and performed the services and repairs quickly and at a good price. The facility itself is impressive and so are the cars that were there, a very new Lamborghini Hurican to mention but one. If this place is good enough for the owner of that Lamborghini, they are certainly good enough to work on my GTI.

Tow truck guy was great and used the tools nessecary to avoid damaging my car while towing it and the mechanics found the problem in my car immediately and resolved the issue! Now my battery isn't draining itself for no reason. Great guys, extremely efficient and inexpensive

Elite did an awesome job this past week changing out my the clock spring and blend door actuator in my truck. Very satisfied with the work and it was a super reasonable price! They have worked on different vehicles of mine time and time again. From body work to electrical work. I highly recommend them for any needs.

This repair shop came highly recommended by three different people for repairs on my granddaughter's VW EOS. I was not disappointed: Kevin was a pleasure to work with, understanding, and fair in diagnosing repairs needed and cost effectiveness. Wish there was 0 stars took car in for warranty paid deductible fixed some stuff but not everything took it back they said yeah needs a coil and struts so put a used coil in that day?? And said we’ll get back to you about struts.. well after 2 weeks heard nothing called and said yeah can’t cover it. Haven’t had car but 6 months and it needed timing cover gasket, a fan, lower control arms, struts and a coil.. but I guess they got their money

Kevin at the front desk is very polite and kind, he helps people understand better in detail of what's going on with their vehicles. I went in there not knowing what was going on.with mine and with determine he and the other mechanics helped solve that problem. Everyone was very understanding and inviting.

Bought my youngest son a 2014 VW Passat for his first car. It had a small coolant leak and the heat would not work. I’m a single mother. Went to a local cookeville mechanic and he just didn’t want to fix it and told me I needed a 9000$ engine. Brought the car to elite, where Kevin calmed my fears over the phone. Installed a new water pump, thermostat and heater core and did some other minor maintenance on the car it needed for its age. They were very kind and professional and got the car fixed so fast. I was so impressed with their Knowledge. They treated me like they cared. I’m so glad to know of a place like this to service my vehicles. —-Rachel

I have struggled for months trying to find a mechanic around the Cookeville area that could work on my Mercedes, I was happy to find Elite Automotive they are super honest and very knowledgeable with their work. Great group of guys there. I was told the fuel pump modular was whats wrong with my BMW when they diagnosed it. It was something else. They ended up finishing my vehicle 2 days early. They will be the guys that work on this car.

I was having issues with the key lock cylinder on my 2011 VW Jetta so I called ELITE and the woman I spoke with was very nice and directed me towards Kevin. I was informed that he could fix it and he offered and suggested many ways we could get my car to the shop. He was not pushy with any of his suggestions and he was very genuine. It took a little while longer than I had originally hoped, but I don't believe the wait was ELITE's fault. We had to wait on the dealership (they said it would be a 6 week wait until they got the part on top of the 2-3 weeks my car had been there) I'm sure there was some back and forth between ELITE and the dealership, but Kevin was very prompt in calling me as soon as my car was ready to go. Kevin also let me know that there's a leak on my brake vacuum pump and that they'd be able to fix it. He was very respectful and not like the generic mechanic who tries to get more money out of you. I will absolutely be returning.

10/10 Great finesse by Elite Automotive. Congratulations Elite Automotive for pulling off such a lovely finesse, hope you guys really needed the $3,500. Do not take your car here unless you want poor quality and customer support. Greedy people they only want your money and do not care about you. ** You can say what ever you want on here to protect your business doesn’t mean it is the truth. I understand you want to uphold your reputation which is why you responded how you did. You may of not been consulted for a diagnoses but over the phone you definitely influenced the decision made. Regardless you guys did nothing good, it would have been better off never taking the car there. Decided to take my car to Elite. They diagnosed the issue over the phone, explaining it was a common problem with these cars—related to the timing belt and water pump. Though we had recently replaced these parts and the car ran great until eventually it started misfiring. Which was when we decided to take it to Elite. Trusting their expertise, we went ahead with a $2,000 repair for the false diagnosis, only to find the issue persisted shortly after driving it home, confirming it with a CEL. Frustrated the car wouldn’t drive we returned Elite Automotive. This time, they diagnosed the problem correctly but quoted $5,000 for the repair, making the total $7,000+ for a car not worth that. Despite their earlier misdiagnosis, they offered no accommodation and didn’t want to work anything out. So we decided to pick up the car, (now disassembled and non-functional, where before it at least ran but rough) for a price of $1,500. Down $3,500+ not including a trailer plus travel expenses and left with a dissembled engine and a non running car.

Very professional service looking forward to getting my Volvo back! A follow-up after we get our car back! We'll we got our car back the first time did not make it home same issue. After replacing new timing belt and all components with a timing belt 2 grand. We are back and have now properly diagnosed the issue and want another 5 grand. Same fault not properly diagnosed the first time and have to double pay parts and labor. Very dissapointing. This is how you loss the trust of your customers

I called this place and the First Lady I spoke with was very nice. However, she sent me to a gentleman named Kevin and I was not impressed with his customer service. I have a 6.4 powerstroke that has leaking up pipes and just needs the cab pulled to replace the gaskets (I’ve already troubleshooted it). Now before calling, I went to their website and verified that they work on diesels. I also pass their shop regularly and see diesels being worked on all the time. When I told kevin what truck I had, he automatically said “sorry we don’t work on diesels here”. Very dishonest as I know and see regularly that they do. I understand the 6.4 powerstroke isn’t the most popular to work on, but lying to a potential customer isn’t the way to turn down work.

The best towing company in the area. Tonight, in terrible icy conditions, Elite came to tow my car out of a ditch. They were prompt, kind, and so professional. They did an excellent job even in the ice and snow. And when insurance was difficult to deal with and kept dropping calls, they were super patient and even offered to share snacks and drinks with me while we waited. Went above and beyond the whole time. 10/10 recommend.

Elite is by far the worst shop in tn!!!! Started off ok but took a turn for the worse. I took my Audi r8 to them to have work done and twin turbos put on and meet with the guys and they talk a big game but I learned really fast that I should have not took my car there!!! The owner Sean told me he would put the kit on that him and Marcel said would fit my car on for 4 to 5k. And the first day started off to the point that they could not even get the wing off my car for 8 hours and the next day they pulled the motor and this is where it becomes a joke. They let the Motor hang in the air on a cherry picker for 3weeks till I lost my cool with the service manger! Then I went by and stood there so he would work on my car. Then they told me it would be a few days and I would have it back. Well another month goes by and they have not done anything else so I sent a message with service manger, Marcel and Sean and then a few days later he responded. And then another week went by and he after starting my car he told me he didn’t want to do the work and just keep dragging it out. The service manager seem to push to get the car done and then Sean took his title away from him because he was trying to help me. And then another month went by and I told them I was coming to get my car so they took the whole under carage off my car and the wheels and drive shafts out of it too so I could not pick it up . So know it took 2 more week to get them to put the car half back together so I could pick it up with a role back and these lying people charged me 15k for half way doing the work on my car. And the other shop I took it too has found a broken water bottle, 3 vacuums lines under the intake not hooked up and 4 around the motor not hooked up and they put a bad throw out bearing on the clutch they put it the car. And I told them if it needed one to put one in. and we found 3 broke wires in the engine harness and we found the the alternator wires were not tightened up and the told me they put ac refrigerate in the car witch was a lie, there were other thing like body grounds and it had 3 oil leaked from them taking the motor out, the paint on the intakes are scratched all to hell and so are the valve covers and the paint around the engine compartment, the wiper blades were not on the car when I picked it up and they lost the bolts and they took out one of the dash bolts and lost it too, and they told me they could tune the car for the turbos they put on. They lied!!! There are other things they messed up on my car like scratching the paint and poking a hole in the leather seat and letting it ran in the passenger side window (for the 4 months they had my car) from a roof leak of the shop roof and they would not hook a power prob up to the window and roll it up. So I would never take a car to these people again in my life. And anything I told to Marcel is just blamed on my. Like I’m the one that worked there and he say he has no control over his employees. This place is a joke!!! You have been warned!!!

I needed to rent a vehicle at a moment's notice and Elite took great care of me. I thought it would cost me a lot of money since I hadn't been able to call ahead to reserve, but I was surprised. Casey was awesome in getting things in order before I arrived, and I was on my way out the door within five minutes. Great people to deal with and I loved the little red Mini Cooper. It was perfect for me. I will definitely be back to rent a car if needed or to have my own vehicle serviced. Very pleased.

These guys are definitely top-notch mechanics, honest and transparent, and extremely thorough with their diagnostics. I had some engine trouble (cylinder misfires) along with some steering system problems and bounced between 3 different shops in Cookeville. None of them could accurately diagnose the engine issues on my 2005 Mercedes, and all 3 of them totally missed the true underlying problem affecting my steering system in their inspections. It was only until I got my vehicle down to Elite that we figured out precisely what the engine needed. And they almost instantly spotted the real steering problem, which was my rack and pinion. They broke down everything that needed attention in incredible detail, revealing much more than the prior inspections, and took care of my immediate needs so I could safely drive back to Nashville. I wish I could afford to let them replace the rack and everything else right now, because I know the quality of their work is impeccable. I would give them 5 stars if they were a little more flexible on sourcing parts. I found many of the parts I needed, OEM, new, for far less than what they quoted me. I understand, though, they have a high standard to maintain. Labor was a bit pricey too, but you get what you pay for on maintaining German vehicles. So, 5 stars on quality and professionalism. 4 and a half overall if you're on a tight budget. To my fellow Mercedes owners, don't even mess with the shops in Cookeville. Take it down to Elite to get the job done right.
