Got towed today, people will always find a way to complain and shout about it as loud as they can but very rarely shout that loud when something is just as it should be and they are happy with the service . I would like to shout very loud even scream about how happy we were with your service today . Christian is the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet, he talked with my son all the way back he was on time , courteous, polite and enjoyed what he was doing . A perfect representation of your company… because of him I have given your card to my daughter and my son for emergencies they are new to driving and I feel they will be in good hands with Christian , because I have shouted out you praise please let me know you received this and more importantly please show Christian…
My car broke down on Poplar and Kirby (battery issue ans wouldn’t crank). The germantown police ended up calling this particular wrecker company. Probably the worst tow truck service they could’ve found. I think I would’ve found someone else who had better prices. The price is SUPER expensive AND they only take cash. I would not recommend this place UNLESS you are in desperate need and have nobody else to call, but I am sure there are better tow truck services in Memphis. They added additional unnecessary fees just for me to get my car back. In addition, the lack of professionalism is ridiculous. I don’t like ANY business who does not have great customer service. I’m glad this process is over now, and I would NEVER recommend these people to anyone. They basically are scammers playing in your face. Also they are not open 24 hours as it states on google and their website.
Called them on the recommendation of the dealership, and they were courteous, arrived on time, and got our vehicle, which had broken down, out of here quickly and straight to the dealership. A bit pricey, but honestly, everything has gone up in today's economy, so not very surprised. And yes, they even took a card. Would recommend, and would use again!
Hit a pot hole on Shelby Drive and Lamar and popped both front and back passenger tires. I called and he was pulling in about a minute after I hung up the phone!! He was close by!! He loaded my Genesis G90 on the roll back and took me to the dealership! He turned what could have been a scary situation into a very pleasant experience!! Thank you!!!
DON’T USE THIS TOWING SERVICE. THEY TOWED MY MOTHER’S CAR AND BENT THE TIRE RODS ON BOTH SIDES AND REFUSING TO PAY TO THE REPAIRS!! MY MOTHER IS HIRING A LAWYER!!!!! I AM GIVING 0 STARS!!!! BUT HAD TO PUT 1 STAR TO POST! BAD BUSINESS!!!
When I was broken down I had called 3 other companies none of which were able to help me. Road side suggested D’S and I had someone out to me with in 20 minutes. I had an excellent experience from the dispatcher(who’s. name escapes me) to the driver, Marlo who was both professional and efficient with his service loading it up and dropping it off with care. Would recommend to anyone based off my experience.
Grateful that I finally got help. I needed my tire changed at 2am. It was myself and my baby. Took the guy about 2 hours to change my tire. He complained about his job and his personal life the entire time. He had me provide the jack, tire iron, air for my donut that was getting put on my car, and beverage for him. He kept complaining about how much work it is. Kept telling me that he don’t change tires and that he only does tows. Not very happy with my experience with this business.
My sister vehicle was towed from an accident. After going to retrieve her items . Somebody entered the trunk through the back seat and stole items. We spoke to management, I guess that was management, and was told it's only older men why would they steal. Exactly , why?Later in the conversation he added that the tow driver for her vehicle was a woman. Man or woman , somebody stole new items out her trunk. I hate a theif!!
We had a great experience. We broke down in the middle of the night and were stranded on the side of the road in Memphis. Andrew was the driver who picked us up and took us in our car to Oxford. He did a great job. Highly recommended.
I really like D. When you need him to tow your car he's very prompt. He's always a very nice guy. Always very friendly also. I'd highly recommend using his service.
Do not use this company. They are unethical and crooks. A female employee aided a theft to illegally steal my vehicle off of a storage lot in the middle of the night. When the employee was caught on surveillance and contacted and asked why she towed my vehicle from the storage facility, she denied the job was on their docket records. Maybe it wasn’t if she was paid on the side. Because apparently she accepted the job request WITHOUT identification from the thief she helped steal our property, proper proof they owned the vehicle and delivered it to their residence. When I called to ask how the situation occurred, she was rude and refused to tell me anything EXCEPT that she was told the ongoing investigation was closed since the vehicle was retrieve by law enforcement and no one will be asking her any more questions. Good luck with that hope. I’m launching a complaint against you and your company for shady practices since you were unwilling to even discuss the matter when you had the chance. Pictures of the damages to thr vehicle to come.
I’ve called trying to get info on how much it costs per day for the car that’s been towed. Asking a general question about rates.. All I got was an aggressive “we’re not open until monday”. How do you have a 24 hr towing service but not a 24 hr office or atleast someone that can give you info? Make it make sense.
The take of two drivers. I had a driver from D's pick up my car one night and tow it to the hotel. He was kind, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt that both I and my car were being well taken care of and would highly recommend.
The next morning I got another driver to tow me from the hotel to the dealer. It was an exact opposite experience. I could barely understand him when he spoke and he didn't seem interested in my issues. He had me drive my car up onto his flat bed which would be bad enough, but followed that up by then driving me and my car to the dealer while I was still on my car. On his flatbed. This shows a complete disregard for the safety of my car and for my own personal safety. It was unprofessional at best and downright dangerous at worst.
Five stars for the first experience, one star for the second. We'll average that out to 2 stars (dangerous outweighs professionalism)
I call to get my car towed and they said they’ll be there in 1-1.5 hours (I was in Memphis). I wait for 1.5 hours and call them again and they said they were close. I wait another 30 minutes (for a total wait time of 2 hours) and call them again and they told me the driver is stuck on the Memphis Arkansas bridge and it’ll be a minute…absolutely terrible communication and waste of my time.
I've used D's Wrecker Service several times, now. I've had the same consistent and professional service from them each time. They have done what they said they would do and have been careful not to damage my vehicles, at a fair price.

This company was the first company that was called by my roadside service plan I pay for monthly. When I called to get some information on ETA due to my son was with the car that was to be towed and he has asthma. My question was to see of by chance they had someone that could possibly come sooner than 2 hours since the car was sitting in the way of the turning lane and since my son Jas asthma. The gentleman I spoke with was very rude saying to me that he can't create a miracle or wave a magic wand. Then the gentleman was says well he doesn't have to sit with the car. I explained to him because it's in the middle of the street I didn't want anyone to hit the vehicle nor the police to come tow it if no one was with the vehicle. Then this guy says to me don't blame the situation on him. He could have just simply said ma'am we will do our best to get there as soon as possible. If by chance I can get a driver there in less than 2 hours I will give you a call. Now that would have been a nicer statement versus the one he gave. So, since he was rude I cancelled that tow service and called All Around Towing who was much nicer and commicated well with me when he was on his way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND D'S TOWING SERVICE DUE TO BEING VERY RUDE.
I am very grateful for the urgency and courtesy of this company. I've had very bad experiences with tow companies one of which was TIME. I called them around 2:08 p.m and my car was in the air by 2:45. I am very grateful. A special thanks to my tow driver CHRISTIAN. He was very polite, respectful and hospitable. He allowed me to sit in his truck under the AC while he hooked my car up. You don't find that too much nowadays. It was a pleasant ride to my destination. I will definitely use this company again. Great job you guys!
I called to have my car pick up @ 8:15am and it is now 10:33am and not a soul has contacted me!! The dispatcher kept saying that they were on the street we were on but not a person in sight!! The other driver I had the day before from D’s was professional!! He called and he let me know he was on the way!! This is just ridiculous if I was stranded on the side of the road waiting on them I would be SOL!! This will never happen again!! Too the guy who did my first pick up.... you need your own business you’re professional and you know how to treat people, honest and upfront!! Money will come just treat your people with respect and keep doing what you do!!
Transmission died on POPLAR!! Right in front of Overton park heading in the zoo! This company (Chris) was the most professional we spoke with by far and was to us in less than an hour! Christian loaded our vehicle, my husband and I up and brought us safely back to Millington. He was professional and pleasant. A good man! The price was $125 which is what we were quoted from the other options we called as well. I definitely recommend this company!
I get great service every time I've ever had to call them. I got Christian to tow me tonight. Excellent service and friendly guy. Give them a ring when you need to get towed.

Horrible experience!!! Arranged service at noon was told pick up within an hour. Called after 3:30 car still not picked up and told running behind. Car not picked up until 6 pm and dealership having to wait even after they are closed for the day. Terrible communication, does not deliver on commitments and no follow up. I do not recommend their services.
Awesome wrecker service. Fast friendly service. I've had them tow several cars for me and they are the only wrecker service I'll use. Great pricing and great dispatcher to speak with. I had the pleasure of speaking with Tammy. Rodney has towed all of my vehicles and is very friendly.

It seems I was the sucker that was born during my proverbial minute. I let myself get scammed by D's Wrecker driver, "Dawn" of $125. D's is a Pep Boys service partner. My car had a flat, but was in the airport parking deck, and D's was the 1st provider with a wheel hitch tow truck that would fit in the low clearance. Pep Boys TOLD me that the price of the tow would be included in my bill at the shop, but D's dispatcher(?) called while I was waiting, and said that "my motor club's credit card was rejected". I kept telling her I had no motor club and expected to pay for the tow thru the billing at the shop. She said they couldn't tow me unless this was settled, so I said I would pay the driver if she could accept cards. Settled, right? Wrong.
Dawn, the savvy driver showed up and hooked up my car, but then asked that we go ahead and settle the tow charge. She supposedly attempted to run my AMEX several times to no avail. Hmm... curious, but she said it could be their system, and asked if I could pay in cash.
SUCKER ALERT! I agreed. Paranoid, always warning others, but I agreed. Actually followed her to a close ATM and took out CASH, followed her the long scenic street route to a Pep Boys that wouldve been a short commute if we'd simply jumped on I-55, two blocks away, then forked over $175 + $10 tip. SUCKER!!!
When I went back to Pep Boys today to pay for them putting on a new tire, the bill was $50 more than I was quoted. I asked and the clerk said that was for the tow.... $50. I pulled out my receipt for $175, which even showed I got a "discount" for paying in cash.
The clerk took pity on me and removed the $50, but you KNOW the sign that was flashing on my head, right??

I had even APOLOGIZED to Dawn, my ever so empathetic driver for having taken her so far out of the way in order to get the cash.
So the conclusion is this -- should you EVER need a tow and find out that D's Wrecker Service is the only one available, just say NO. Life is hard enough without the strategic scheming of a company / driver (not sure if that was really the dispatcher) that would lie like this and cheat a paying customer with a bill over 3x the amount that was contracted to them by a national company.
I pray Dawn finds redemption and personally learns how treatment like this makes a person feel. And I pray that she never gets a moment of joy or contentment out of any money she's taken by this method.
Now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to go see if I can get this SUCKER label off my forehead. Feels like it's sticking with duct tape.
I called them based on Google reviews. I had a tire explode and I didn't currently have a spare. They told me it would be 30-40 mins for my tow. I accepted this as a reasonable wait. However, after waiting over an hour and calling them back they said they did another call in between my route. And that it would be another 30 mins or so. I called another company and had a much better experience over the phone versus with this company. Although they did show up and did the tow. I was very displeased with the wait and lack of communication. The tow driver Will, was very good and apologetic.
