They give the incorrect address. Don’t provide names. The dispatcher said his name was “dispatcher” pulled up to the gate. An older white guy (Murdock) in a grey pickup truck was putting a chain on the gate, when asked if I was the correct place, he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about. Did the money transaction outside of the gate. Asked for my license and paperwork, never looked at it. He was only concerned about that money !
I'm not the only 1 giving you this advice, don't waste over 3 hours of your day, like I did for them & still not have them come. My insurance through Allstate picked them out.. This Company is 1 SORRY pick
Terrible experience with this towing company. My insurance (State Farm) scheduled a tow through Trac 1 for pickup between 12:00–12:30 PM. I called at 11:15 to confirm, and they said the truck would arrive within the hour. By 12:45, no one had arrived, and I couldn’t reach them—their phone lines were disconnected.
I finally got ahold of someone at 3:30 PM, only to be told that my wife said the vehicle wouldn’t run, so they needed to send a different type of tow truck and it wouldn’t arrive until the next day. For the record, the person they referred to as my wife was actually my State Farm agent.
No one called to inform me of the delay, and I ended up losing an entire day of work because of their poor communication and lack of professionalism. Now I have to miss even more time from work on Monday just to wait for another tow.

DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY!!! I waited for 3 hours and they didn’t show up. The dispatcher sounded like she had just woke up and she was very rude. The driver finally called after waiting for 3 hours and said that he was on his way and he will there shortly. After waiting for another hour my insurance called me to see if I was still waiting and then they reached out to Trac 1 tow they told them that the driver had a flat tire, which was a lie. My insurance company had to switch me to a new tow company. They are rude and unprofessional, don’t waste your time or money!!!
This company notified my insurance that they would pick up my car in 90 minutes -- only to never arrive. When called, they said they had to provide a time so that's what they gave and that there were more people ahead of me who still needed to be picked up. When I complained to my insurance company they promised they'd come in 20 minutes -- and then moved up the timeframe to 60 minutes after a half hour.
This company isn't one I would trust if you're in a pinch and/or stuck on the side of the road. Or ever.
This towing company is VERY slick . They will tow your car from apartments even after or before their closing hours just so you’ll have to pay more to pick up the next day. Very unprofessional
After having a blow out on my car in the evening hours and with tire stores closed I had to get my car towed. My insurance company contacted this company. While waiting I researched the company and was totally alarmed by the number of negative complaints and the rating given by the BBB. I was totally surprised and glad when the driver, Jermayne, called saying he was on his way. He was very pleasant, professional and even offered suggestions for a tire replacement. Mr. Jermayne you are an asset to this company! Keep up the good work!
Tow man cracked my glass on my driver side when he was reversing my truck off the bed. Of course he said he didn’t do it but my glass wasn’t cracked until after the fact. This company is extremely flawed. The dispatcher basically hung up in my face when I told her about it. The glass cracked bc he lowered the windows while reversing the truck off the elevated tow bed, putting pressure on the window when it was let down. Don’t ever do business with them.
STOP!!!! EXAMINE YOUR BRAIN!! If you use this company or if you are thinking about using TRAC 1 Towing you' had better run for the hills!! This company is dreadful!! Awful!! They kept promising me that they would be there to tow my car in about an hour and I was left stranded until the next day. They then pulled my car up on the tow truck while it was still in gear and the parking brake was still on! I was like, "Hey! the car is in gear!" Did they stop?'" HELL to the NO!! On top of that, they damaged the hood and won't pay for it! this is ridiculous!!! Now why in heaven's name would Allstate use someone like that? I still haven't beem able to get my hood repaired. If you use these people do so at your own peril. Allstate should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Zero Stars. This tow driver in this photo damaged our vehicle, and we have three witnesses and then say he didn't do. Damaged our door and he took pictures just like we did and I took down all his information which was all invalid and then had the nerve to say the damage was already there. This guy was rude and a liar. Service was horrible. And this is who the insurance company's are using for roadside assistance. Just Sad..... Found the video footage to prove it and got witnesses and we going to fight. I hate when people try to get over on others.
On time. Nice young man knew what he was doing. Took pictures of the car so if damaged it wasn't him. Delivered the car to the shop on time. Dispatcher was pleasant and helpful also.
This company has been horrible to work with. I called the pep boys 1-800 number to get my wife's car towed to pep boys. I call around 2 on 1/19/24. I was given an eta pick up time at 5:39 same day. I never heard from the towing company until I called them at 6:00, 20 minutes after they were suppose to pick up the vehicle. I was told the driver wouldn't be at my vehicle until 7. I proceeded to reschedule the pick up for 9:00 the morning or 1/20/24. I get a call at 8:30 saying they just got the ticket on my vehicle and there was 6 more tows ahead of mine. I then get a call when the driver was fixing to head my way to get my vehicle and was told at that time I was gonna have to pay and additional $125 on top of the $80 tow fee. I was never told that on the front end. I will push my car before I use this company or even recommend this company.
It was my fault I took a chance and parked in a non-compliant handicap spot in my apt complex adjacent from one that is compliant they deemed a regular parking space, without the authority or permission to do so. However, this tow company uses a scout, which is illegal. The complex office stated they did not call them and stated upon move in that the tow company was told to stop unless requested by property management. They use various vehicles, friends, and employees, I'm sure. Watch out for an older gold suburban with 2 white air fresh bags hanging from rear view. A tow company must by law be called by an individual or establishment for services. They are not the police and have no right to pull a car unless requested. They are not allowed to scout and hunt. Also, my ebrake was engaged. Thus, they left skid marks thru the parking lot, and now my steering wheel shakes when braking. I assume the disc are warped from this. It was disengaged upon pick up, so they also had to break into my vehicle to disengage. Their office staff looked homeless and acted aloof to proper customer service business practices. Their establishment looks abandoned as well as unsafe egress to my car, to their door, and had various trash in front of most of their counter. They didn't answer the phone as I called 6xs from 4 to 5p. They finally answered at 505pm. They close at 5 pm, even tho their site says 12am. This was to add an additional 30 to the initial 155 for "storage." Needless to say, these people are low down, unprofessional, and rude. Although the real criminals in this are the establishments that hire them knowing they will scout their properties and the law makers that deem them untouchable and not liable. It is the city, county, and state government that regulate this industry. Suggesting they scratch each other's backs. So do not use this company for sure, know that all tow companies are low down and dirty. Oh and anyone giving these people a good review has to fake or paid to do so....
My experience with Trac 1 towing was excellent! The lady was so nice. She dispatched my order as an emergency. Which I thank you so much for doing that! Being on the side of 240 west with the crazy traffic will definitely cause a lot of anxiety! Thank you Trac 1 towing!
Canceled a trip on me after I already waited an hour and a half. By the time I got someone else out there I had waited nearly 4 hours. Why accept a job if you don’t have the personnel to do it? Good thing I wasn’t alone or it could have been bad. Was not in the best area to be broken down. Just highly un-professional behavior.
Prowls late at night looking for cars to tow. Just like pbj. Overcharging to get your car back. Supposed to charge 125 storage starts after 24 hours she charged me that immediately. Ghetto

Wow, what an unbelievably horrible experience! I requested a tow truck through my insurance company around 2 pm. The ETA was originally 2-2.5 hours. By 5:00, they removed the ETA from my request, but still weren't here. I called Trac 1 to see what was going on. The person on the phone was almost inaudible and honestly sounded like they were at a house party with tons of loud voices around them. She told me it would be another 60 minutes for the tow truck to arrive! Well, that's absolutely useless because all of the auto shops closed at 6:00! So I was forced to cancel the service and I wasted a day without being able to use my car. Not even an apology was received for the inconvenience. If you have a choice, DO NOT CHOOSE TRAC 1.
BEWARE!!! If I could give this company a Zero star rating I certainly would! In May my son was traveling for work and needed a tow from Memphis to Alamo, Tn. My sons truck is lifted and to an inexperienced driver it may be difficult to judge distance. As the driver loaded the truck he damaged the bully bar or small bumper guard. Its taken about 2 months just to speak to the owner and explain what happened during my son’s towing experience but he refuses to take responsibility and pay for damages. The driver admitted fault at the scene but the owner’s position is that since his tow truck didn’t show damage that my sons truck wasn’t damaged!! Pictures that his own driver took clearly show damage and still nothing!!! Would highly suggest NOT doing business with this company!!
I used their services today and had an exceptional experience. Michelle in the office was very personable and assured me she would get someone out quickly. Within 30 mins I received a call from the driver stating he was in route. He was also very personable and quick! I will use them again if needed.

This towing company is magnificent the dispatcher was friendly and professional and the drivers I’ve had interactions with have to be the best in the business! Tim helped me twice ,once to get my car out of the mud when it got stuck,he did it quickly and has a great attitude about his work and the customer,
Tim also towed a vehicle for me ,even though he had a minor issue with a vendor he remained professional and got the job done .The third encounter was with Antonio who was very personable on the phone delivered the car to the assigned location and kept me informed throughout the whole process!Great job Trac1 towing
I told the driver he needed a flatbed- he was rude and told me he did it 20x a day. He was driving recklessly with my car not secure and when he turned a corner - he wrecked the back. He cussed me out and unhooked my car and left it. Do not use under any circumstances. I understand mistakes happen but from the get go I told him it wasn’t ok. This was reckless and the driver could’ve seriously hurt someone!
My insurance company dispatched Trac1 to tow my car last Friday. With an ETA of 120 minutes, they were a no show. I called after waiting a little longer only to be told that there were 2 more cars ahead of me. The gentleman asked if I could leave the keys in my car or under the tire. Really? In Memphis, TN?!?! I couldn’t believe it. I called back to Roadside Assistance who said they could “schedule” my tow for the next morning. So, 7:21am I receive a text with an ETA of 90 minutes. Guess what, no show! (You are so smart.) I called and spoke with Amber who told me it would be about 9:45-10 before they arrive. Guess what?!?! No show! I called back again and spoke with Amber who told me it would be 30 more minutes. They had to stop and get some fuel. Do you recall me saying that I had an appointment? That should have been taken care of BEFORE the appointment. Anywho, Trac1 finally arrived at 10:46am. I am glad they FINALLY arrived because I had been trying to get my vehicle towed since 5:45pm Friday. I will give them credit for showing up. Then, when my car was towed to my home. I had to remind the gentlemen, who were about to leave, to remove the tow hook and replace the cover back on my car. My thing is, if you have a business, you should run it like a business. I work hard for my money and I don’t just give it to people who don’t appreciate it. You are in business for customers. Word of mouth is SO important. If you cannot do a job and fulfill a job you have accepted or agreed to do, be the bigger person and just be honest with yourself and your customers. It will save a lot of headaches and complaints.
I highly recommend TRAC1 Towing. My vehicle became completely inoperable 40 miles away from my home. I contacted my insurance company for roadside service and less than 15 minutes later LaDarious, the TRAC1 Towing operator called and gave his ETA to my location. Upon on arrival, he briefed me on his experience and assured me that he would get my vehicle to the shop I wanted it to go to. After a morning of frustration and missing work, his manners, concern, and professionalism really impressed me and far exceeded my expectations. One hour later, my vehicle was delivered to the location 40 miles away. Thanks again LaDarious.
Chris was awesome. He was right on time. He smile and laugh all while putting my car on the tow bed. Great guy with a friendly face. I had Trac 1 towing, pull vehicle from 3002 Thomas and transport it to there facility overnight and deliver it back to 3002 Thomas the following morning. I called first thing the next morning, to check on the status of my vehicle, it had not yet been pulled, I completely understood. They later towed my vehicle to the shop, however when they did, they did not insert my key back inside my vehicle. This severely delayed the start of maintenance being performed on my vehicle. When I called to inquire on why my key was not with my vehicle, I was the informed the driver left it, and which I understand mistakes happen, but no one gave me a courtesy call when they found out an error was made and it was very apparent that the person working dispatch even seem to laugh or find it funny. I was very disappointed in the service that was provided. Once again Willy the initial wrecker was great, everything that transpired after the initial pickup was awful. I would not recommend.
The operator who towed my car did not attempt to swindle me. He was honest, professional, and real. I was stuck in a mud puddle in the middle of nowhere. He could get me out but there were risk to my car. He would work hard to safely get my car out. He was honest. My car was retrieved safely. But, if it wasn't, he was direct enough with me. And, this company was the only one brave enough to help me. They do excellent work. They do what they say they will do.
Setup a tow through progressive. The first company they sent was terrible. I'll leave it at that. So I asked for them to send another company over. TRAC1 TOWING IS EXCELLENT! Would definitely recommend to ANYONE! they showed up on ETA, not sure of his name but the driver was friendly from the first second. He was engaged in a conversation with me immediately. And he got my vehicle to its destination with no problems and a very timely manner! 2 BIG THUMBS UP!! Thank you guys!
