They said they would be there in an hour, and were informed via Geico there would be two passengers. It took the tow truck over 3 hours to arrive, and the driver had his wife with him and said he couldn't take any further passengers. We had to pay a ride service to take us to the tire shop, by which time it was too late in the evening to get the tires fixed the same day.
The tow truck driver that arrived with Davenports Towing was VERY EXPERIENCED! The battery was stolen from my vehicle prior to being towed. He knew exactly what to do! Thank you for having such hard working people.
I’ve been getting the runaround from this company for the past two days. I had to rent a room across the truck stop while waiting for my truck, only to be repeatedly put on hold and told they were “on the way.” When I called back, I was then told they were looking for another driver.
The communication has been extremely unprofessional and inconsistent. I still don’t have a clear understanding of what they meant by “tow pro,” and I’m currently waiting at a truck stop for my truck to be dropped off from roughly a mile away.
This experience has been very frustrating and has cost me time and money. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this towing company ended up having to cancel and find other company AFTER ALREADY PAYING them so I do expect a full refund .
We called them for a pull start on a heavy duty truck. They said 4-6 hours. We prepaid for the service and had to call multiple times and they wouldnt give us an ETA. The tow truck finally showed up over 12 hours later and was very untrained. Our driver had to tell him what to do to get the job done. I would not recommend.
Given the snowpopcalypse 2026 in Memphis, my car got stuck near the airport. Davenport showed me grace every single time I called today for an update(14 times to be exact). Talked to probably everyone in the office. The driver dropped off my car, very kind. Did not catch his name, it was cold and he had more places to go, bless his heart. Thank you Davenport!!!
Sweetest angel, disguised as a young man, rescued me on the expressway during high early morning traffic. Memphis drivers are protective of their lane and do not yield to anyone, but he accomplished the task confidently and expertly. Went above and beyond to find me, after failed gps had him miles away. Professional but so sweet and kind. I forgot to ask for his name but ill be praying for him. ; )
After calling several other places, Ms. Susan was a refreshing. Thanked her for being so delightful on an early Monday morning. She said that is the only way you should be. She gave me a full rundown on what to except from her end & when the driver would arrive at my house.

I hired this company to move a mustang across town for me. The driver broke the bumper and offered to bring me a new one. I decided to work with him on it. This company provided extremely poor service and caused significant damage to my vehicle during the tow. When I raised the issue, they refused to accept responsibility or offer any resolution. This is completely unacceptable for a company entrusted with handling customers’ property.
I am formally documenting this incident and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). In addition, I am preparing to pursue the matter in small claims court to recover damages caused by their negligence.
Consumers deserve to know how this company operates before trusting them with their vehicles. I strongly advise against using this tow service.
Courteous and professional from call to pickup. Had half the wait time of other companies early hour on Friday morning. Driver was meticulous on making sure my vehicle didn't suffer more damage from locked up wheel on the tow.
Told insurance NEVER use them again! Had a blowout leaving hodpital in AR to see my aunt just placed on hospice.Told me 9:52pm for tow, over an hour wait. Waited in the middle of nowhere on dark highway for hours in a diff state, AR hot & with kids, ended up had to have someone come get us to take back to TN b/c they kept changing time w/o telling me uness I was calling. Such an inconvenience to have to set that up. Waited up couldn't sleep until I knew they could find my car & bring to me.Didn't happen til the next morning. No sleep before work & no communication from them unless I called. NO DISCOUNT offered for the inconvenience. Will not recommend, will ask insurance to find another provider if i need further assistance, and will tell others bad customer service. Discount should've been offered and I had to ask for it and was told MGR wouldn't approve, very dismissive!
Waited over 2 hours for two. Customer service was is horrible. They got loud, yelling etc on the phone. Tow driver was very friendly and helpful. But this company sucked. I can't understand why geico would even contract with them. Waited over 2 + hours in 100degree weather. Dealing with friendly tow driver ((who came from Forest City to pick us up) was the easiest part. These people are unprofessional! And should not be working in customer service. Horrible experience. Bye bye geico. Going back to AAA
If you’re stranded and need real help, do yourself a favor and call literally anyone else. This company clearly doesn’t value your time, safety, or even basic communication. I would give zero stars if I could!
Don't know about the towing seems like a great company, but one of there drivers almost side swiped me going 240 west doing 75 to 80 miles an hour. Called dispatch to let them know he was driving reckless almost hit a few people. Good thing I got a dash cam.

be careful with this company, we hired them to move a truck to houston from memphis, and after having agreed on a price they changed to mutad en route, additionally deiver had 3 days without sleep and was literally high, a job they should have done In 10 hours it took 54 hours to do it, stay away from this company, they are irresponsible
I used Davenport Towing to transport my lifted Silverado after a pot hole mishap damaged my rear-end. Service was set up by my Geico representative and was easy. I received text updates as thier dispatch coordinated pick up of my truck. I was unable to remain on scene but the driver arrived 40 minutes ahead of schedule and called me to discuss everything. My truck was transported about 80 miles from Tunica, MS to New Albany, MS to my preferred collision center without incident. The driver even sent me a picture of the truck safely parked at the shop. Very easy scheduling, customer service was great and my driver was very professional and careful with my rig. Top notch communication all the way around.
The dispatch and driver were amazing people! $150 for them to come from Memphis to Cordova and then tow my vehicle to Arlington! I even tipped the driver $20 on cashapp I was so satisfied! Got there very fast way quicker than the estimated time!
The man that towed my car was great super nice older gentleman. Even entered in my insurance info to get the tow covered. Very thankful for his help. Took my car to a mechanic he trusted and that would treat me right.
