Patrick took the engine out of my 911,separated the transmission removed all the rear bumper including taillights and tires. Replaced the IMS with a oil fed bearing, routed a line thru a opening in the transmission he created,ran the line into a oil port. Replaced the AOS and the main seal and several other things. I have to say it was very worrisome seeing pics of my 911 placed neatly around the car in a Picture he sent me. He accomplished all of this in about 22 hours or so. I have never been happier with any auto service. The price parts and labor was almost half of what the Porsche dealer wanted.
I had my transmission go out while I was traveling. They were the nicest people and helped me so much.They took the time to update me and make sure I didn't need anything since I had to stay in my camper. They were truly good people ❤️
I brought a car for a pre purchase inspection. I could not have been happier with their knowledge and professionalism. Great shop with great and experienced people. If I lived in town, this would be my mechanic for sure .
The air conditioner was not working. We stopped by to see if they could fix it. They gave me an appointment for the next day.
When we brought it in, they diagnosed this issue and provided a complete quote. Also brought up an issue I knew I had that they suggested I fix (provided the same information). Quotes were more reasonable than having issues fixed at the dealer more than one hour away.
They quickly fixed the problems and called and emailed me when it was ready to go.
I have nice cool air now. They did a great job, and they were lovely, friendly people.

I brought in my 2006 BMW 330i with a non-functioning CCC (radio/nav) unit, a well-known issue for this model. I had visited several big-name European shops and even the BMW dealership in Knoxville, but no one wanted to touch it. I was repeatedly told to just enjoy the car without the radio/nav working, but that wasn’t a solution for me.
Thankfully, I found Patrick and the team at Second Chance Automotive. Unlike the others, they had the skills and confidence to take on the repair. In just a few days, they had my BMW’s CCC unit back up and running, keeping my e90 original and fully functional. I was ready to sell the car because of this issue, but thanks to their expertise, I can keep enjoying it!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car now. It’s worth the drive from Knoxville, knowing these guys truly care about their craft and the art of vehicle repair.

Our Bronco broke down one day into our cross country road trip and they immediately started working to get us back on the road as quickly as they could. I have been blown away with the knowledge, integrity, attention to detail, transparency and friendliness Second Chance has had to offer us the past few years. It would be very hard to find another shop at the same level and you are not going to find it anywhere near Oneida. They definitely make you feel like they are taking care of you in the best way possible.
Patrick and Aneisa (and the crew) have worked on ALL of our cars (we have a LOT of them) and have always done an exceptional job. They communicate prices, which are absolutely good prices for the work done. They go above and beyond to make things smooth and efficient. They've always gotten our rigs in and out in a timely matter. It is one of the only places we will take our cars.
As an exotic car owner, I will only take my Mercedes to Second Chance. Not only is their lot usually filled with Porsches, Maseratis and Ferraris, but also nice boats and even the odd lawnmower. The team is great, the owners are super rad people, and I trust them with the cars we put our kids in.
Patrick, Aneisa and the employees treated me great while my car was at Second Chance having repairs made. They made me feel as if I was at home and had my car done in a timely manner at an affordable price. Patrick is my go to for all my vehicle service.

Patrick did a fantastic job with BMW X1. It had been leaking/losing coolant for a while. He was very knowledgeable with BMW's crazy radiator and coolant line routing, which led to quick, efficient diagnosis and repair. Had I taken it to Grayson, Lord only knows how much the repair would have cost, or if they would have even taken the time to diagnose versus wanting to replace an entire system. Overall, extremely happy and I will, most definitely, be back when I have further issues with my car.
There is no comparison to other shops with Second Chance. The work is done right the first time, and if there is ever a question, Patrick calls to make sure on the answer. Oneida is lucky to have such an honest, hard working shop in that area.
I will never take my car to anyone but Patrick. The service was on point and on time. He kept in constant contact and was super transparent. Would recommend to anyone!
This shop is family owned and treats everyone like family. They send videos throughout a repair and keep the lines of communication open all the time. I trust this shop with all of my cars, boats and trucks!
Disappointing experience & a waste of time & money as my car was down for longer than necessary with no real reason as to why or communication about the repair. With that being said, 2 days later I still had the same issue with the car idling that I initially brought it here for! Should've did more research & read recent reviews.
I had high hopes for Second Chance Auto after seeing the reviews online but I unfortunately didn't receive that reflected service. There was no communication & when I reached out about my vehicle it was as if I was bothering them. If that wasn't enough, I ended up getting overcharged for services that weren't even rendered! If you'd like to keep denying, I do have receipts.
Deceitful to say the least honestly I can't believe people still get away with these kind of business practices (or lack thereof) especially in a small town like this. My car came back worse than I left it & now have more issues to fix & pay for. The absolute only reason I'd be back to Patrick's establishment is to get my money back until then, I'm going through my bank.
If you do business with Patrick I wish you the best of luck. I left my car to have a diagnostic test done because the engine light was on and I was told it blew a head gasket and needed to be replaced. After 3 weeks & $400+ later for the initial charge I was still without my car & no sort of communication! Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere, not to mention still trying to get my money back, & suggest you do the same or again I wish you the best of luck.
Overall waste of time and money which is never good especially around the holidays! Kept getting the runaround from Patrick as I needed my alternator replaced. Ultimately, had my car towed to have it repaired at another shop.
incredible staff, super friendly! They even had a super cute dog there. My car is always in top condition every time they work on it. they fully explain everything and keep me safe!
