After my poor experience at Serra Chevrolet, I called Payne Chevrolet in Springfield, TN, and the difference was night and day. I spoke with Craig Wegner, who immediately said, “How soon can you bring it in?” I told him 30 minutes, and when I arrived, the service team treated me with respect, urgency, and genuine care.
They got my vehicle in right away and had it diagnosed in less than 40 minutes—same day. To my surprise, they even waived the diagnostic fee as a courtesy, without me asking for it. Craig also explained everything clearly, including that the previous dealership likely didn’t perform a full transmission flush as the TSB required. He made sure I knew what needed to be done next, even if it wasn’t with their dealership.
That kind of honesty and professionalism is rare these days. Payne Chevrolet is the only reason I would consider another GM vehicle after everything I went through. Craig and the team at Payne are simply good people who do the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
Marty and Bryce helped us out when we were in need of a new vehicle. My wife's previous vehicle was totaled by a tree falling on it. We showed up at almost closing time on a Tuesday. We told Marty the specific vehicle make, trim, and color. He worked hard to locate the vehicle we wanted. We did all the financing with Bryce and he went above and beyond with financing and incentives. We picked up the vehicle 3 days later on Friday, just in time for my wife to return to work on the following Monday. Everything was as described and my wife is very happy with the vehicle. Thanks to the whole team at Payne Chevrolet for making our difficult time a little easier by providing a great sales experience.
More than worth driving to Payne Chevrolet for service. you have a new customer and they actually act like they truly care in helping you. Serra Chevrolet you lost a good customer use to be a good dealership under James Corlew Chevrolet now not so much.

This is the First Dealership I've seen in year's as a whole which work's as a team all in one!! From Service to part's to body shop & sale's & accounting they All Work as a COMPLETE TEAM EFFORT & get whatever is required done. Very unusual in our society! I give this Dealershio at least 10 Star's each & Everyone in all departments go above and beyond to meet their customer's expectations & they have already surpassed my expectation's!!! Great, Great Dealership to purchase, have vehicle serviced, repaired if need be & part's if required. This Staff at Payne Chevrolet are always, always on the ball meeting customer's expectations!!! You can’t get better than Rick in the service department! He is so kind and gets me in for my appointments even tho I always wait till last minute (I keep promising him I’ll get better) but seriously yall these folks are amazing and so nice!!
I dropped my car off to get work done on it. I was told I could walk down to the car rental. They never offered me a ride or anything. I have to walk to the car place to get a rental car. I am a disabled older lady. I would not do that again.
Excellent customer service, they did the best they could with what they had to offer ( issues with enterprise for a warranty repair) very friendly and fast customer service and top notch service that will dig in and try to figure the actual problem, not what just turns the service engine light off for the moment
Service Techs are always supper nice and helpful. I had a check engine light issue that auto parts stores couldn’t read, but the dealer could and ended up getting everything I needed in one stop along with an oil change. We actually drive from Clarksville because of their professionalism and sales guys.
Zero stars....I took my vehicle for repair to Payne nearly 3 weeks ago... when repairs were "said to be" completed and picked up a week ago the car broke down again less than a mile away from the dealership....
They were gracious enough to come tow it and stated that they would get it in the bay right away and get it fixed..... I picked it up again today (7 days after promised) and it's missing parts... meanwhile they charged us for their own mistakes on the 1st repair....

I had my truck towed to Payne Chevrolet after an accident. When I arrived to pick up my truck from their body shop, the front bumper cover was hanging off on the passenger side. I went back into the office to state the issue I had discovered and was then informed that was not part of the accident which was false. I proved otherwise by photos I had taken before and after the accident which I sent to my insurance adjuster as well. They then repaired the cover and I paid my deductible and was on my way. The next day I received a call from my adjuster saying that, Kevin the body shop manager stated that my truck was unsafe to drive to the claims adjuster. This statement was not true. As a result, my insurance company was going to drop my insurance on my truck! This was clearly done in retaliation of my complaint to my adjuster of poor quality of customer service and overall quality of service in general. I also requested in a phone call to talk to the owner but was forwarded to the body shop manager, of course they would, the person I was having the issue with..... I will never recommend the body shop at Payne Chevrolet to anyone.
