I am leaving a one star only because I have to. If I could leave 0 or negative 50 i would. This company is incompetent. my car was taken there by the insurance company for an inspection. I was not in agreement with their finding. I asked for the car to be returned to the body shop. Instead, unannounced Copart had the car delivered to my home while I was at work with me. We were totally unaware of the delivery and tje theyrefused to move it to the correct location. These people are incompetent. At no time was my car ever physically inspected by anyone at Copart. They failed to provide me a list of damages of my vehicle. i was there on Monday between 3:30 and 4:00 and was told no one had looked at my vehicle or been assigned to it. The next morning at eight o'clock.Somehow it mysteriously had been looked at and deemed a total loss which is bull crap. if you can avoid having your car taken there. Dunn's go, it's a scam.They just want your car for the parts

Stole items out of my car and refused to admit it. Woman looked suspicious and went to get her manager to deal with me. Both were horribly noncompliant and dishonest. Horrible business. Incredible they can commit theft like that and not be punished for it.

1. Slowest vehicle loading of all the copart locations ever. Every vehicle that was brought out was a long awaited Christmas present that was actually going to the other transporter. 2. Copart really needs to improve the restroom situation for the transporters. A single disgusting portapotty outside with nowhere to even wash hands. IAA is ahead in that regard.

Harassing people after a wreck and trying to get people to release vehicles that they don’t even own. Should be investigated for shady business and fraudulent ways. USAA should be ashamed for associating with this business.

They recently towed my vehicle and when the tow my vehicle they ended up totaling my vehicle all that was wrong with was a busted bumper but the driver dragged my vehicle a hour a away ripping the control arm off destroying my air shocks and a couple other things word of advice never use them worst experience I’ve ever had I wish there was a negative star rating just for this company

Very undependable! Almost impossible to get in touch with actual salvage yard. Don't show up when they say they will. Maybe a day later if you're lucky.

Came to pick up my car on a beautiful summer day. Instead, I got a front desk performance: 15 minutes of waiting, then told to go outside, only to be called back in for a title job that took 25 minutes instead of 20 seconds. Hope she feels better tomorrow and stops bleeding her mood on innocent customers.

I would give these people no stars if that was an option. They give you a check that bank won't cash then tell you the check.is no good for at least 2 days while waiting for them to inventory it. Do not trust this company!!

Had a terrible experience buying at this lot. I bought a trailer and 3 days later after we have paid and were planing a trip to pick it up. I received a phone call from copart saying the trailers paperwork wasn’t done right and the sale will be reversed. I called and spoke to the GM Eddy Trezinic saying he needs to compensate us for losing our time and money, and he laughed at me saying that’s not going to happen. These guys have no respect for buyers, but when we buy a car they will fine us to get out of it. Don’t deal with this yard!

Very slow, loaders just dump the car on the trailer and run away, most of my cars needed some adjustments so i can strap them, but they dont care. My appointment was at 3pm and i came 10 min earlier, they started bringing my cars around 4.30pm. Ive finished and get out at 6. ?

I am shocked how this place is ran I have brought cars from more than one copart smh the ladies all have poor attitudes they make u wait passed your scheduled time I missed time from work then waited a half a day getting a car loaded these people have no business skills period the gm needs to address it because everyone in Madisonville speaks bad about them as well I'm definitely not going to shop at this location anymore

I offer to paid cash for the car at the dealership and they told me that they couldn't accept that much cash at the dealership of where the car is. They want me to pay online. Why should I have to when I got the on hand. I think this place is scam to get your money. I paid the membership and I feel like I need to be refunded my money back for the yearly membership.

They use to be ok before covid. Now this place is a joke. Use to be free to inspect a vehicle if you had an account. But now they want to charge 25 just to get on the lot and not only that they want you to wait about 1-2 hours before they get to you. Use to walk in give them your account number and they let you in. So my hour drive out there plus waiting 1-2 hours then you figure you be another 1-2 hours on the lot. You might as well just plan on wasting your whole day there. This is very poorly ran location that just wants you to spend the 250 member ship fee so your wait time will be less. I ended up leaving and not looking at the vehicles. They make hand over fist with the auction fee you think they would be willing to people in with out waiting so long to inspect. Use a kiosk system for that its not really that hard. Oh and yes drivers looking to pick up wait cray long time as well. Not sure i want to do business with them anymore. I might just drive to Atlanta from Knoxville just to avoid this location.

This place is horrible! I travel to a lot of copart around this country, and I will tell you this is the worst! I sat here today for almost 6 hours waiting on two cars to be loaded! Staff inside is extremely rude! If you can’t get the cars loaded by the appointment time, then you should not except the appointment times! This is nothing more than a greedy company, selling cars, but can’t produce them off the lot! Very untrustworthy, very rude, very unprofessional and slow, as I’ve ever seen any business move in my life! Save yourself the trouble from buying anything from this particular Copart!

The appointment system at Copart is a joke. You go and sit hours to pick up a car that should not take 10 min to load. You get the paperworks in 10 min then wait for ever to be loaded. Defeats the purpose of appointment IAA does much better job without appointment.

If I could give YOU all at CoPart a lower score, I would. Customer service has been completely insufficient with random people from their “office” calling non stop while I was trying to get all of the information I needed. The appointment they set was over two hours late after we waited 5 hours. When I called to speak with customer service he said it wasn’t his problem. Trying to deposit or even cash their check they sent from Bank of America was almost worse than their customer service or complete lack there of. This company seems like a scam from beginning to end. Oh and don’t worry, I’ve spoke to numerous customer service agents at the business and have only been met with rude and completely useless solutions. We still don’t have our money and as of right now we may have to visit their location personally about a stolen car.

After a serious rollover accident with a Suburban and a camper, our vehicles were towed to Knoxville CoPart. I cannot say enough about the kindness and care that we received in getting back some of our personal items. The office staff was so kind, going above and beyond, to assist us. Thank you. Thank you. An extremely bad incident turned into a good experience by their kindness.

Be sure to clear your car of as much as you can if you get in a wreck. Super friendly staff on the phone, but my car was brought to their site after a wreck and multiple things were missing when I got it back. My lugnut key is gone my extra lug nuts, the tray that covers my spare tire I had miscellaneous tools in is gone, the only thing it seems they put in the trunk was my floor mats. My biggest complaint is the lugnut key. I can’t get the dang wheels off it because someone thought they needed it more than me. Ridiculous.

As an insurance adjuster, this is the worst place to deal with. They’re slow, rude, disorganized. The lot is disorderly and a pain to find vehicles in. In contrast IAA I can walk in get vehicle location and walk out in 3 minutes, their lot is organized and easy to find specific vehicles in. What will take me a total of 30 to accomplish at IAA will take an hour and a half or more at copart.

I was rear ended and the persons Ins company sent copart to pick up my car. When they returned 2 days later, my car which was clean was now filthy to the point it's flabbergasting. It looked like it was intentional because no car should be that dirty in 2 days without racing on dirt roads. Furthermore, there was more damage to my car (gaps in doors, bumper) and they kept my license plate. Yes, they took off my license plate and returned my car without it delaying the time I can get it repaired. This was one of the most pathetic interactions with a company I've ever had. Half a star would be too much.

We got a schedule for pickup 2 cars today, Friday, 1:31pm, and they had 23 spots available but for this time only, i had a 2h delay (things happen on the road, right?) and tried to reschedule the appointment, no success. Got there 3:20 explained all the situation and asked for help, they just don’t care, (you have to come back Monday). It’s crazy to think how people are not willing to help. After COVID they started make appointments, supposedly to take care of people, now it’s just an excuse to say: the system does not allow me to help you. I really hope you guys get what you deserve for simply don’t care for the truck drivers.

I'd leave a zero star review if I could. Waited almost 5 hours at the facility for them to tell me they lost the keys for the vehicle I was picking up. A vehicle I traveled in from out of town to pick it up and planned to drive back. $2,000 in extra fees and 3 days later I was finally able to get a dealership to program a new key. Very unorganized.

Sometimes the wait time can be long even IF You set your appointments, however, when they get to you, they are quick, knowledgeable and efficient.

Said they would call before they picked up my car. I waited around all day and they didn't call. Just came and towed it away. No key or title from me. No check for me. Had to drive 4 hours the next day to get a check. Oh, and we were in the middle of moving across state so the whole issue cost us a extra day on our truck rental and a night in a hotel, costing us several hundred dollars. No one apologized. When I came in with the title, staff barely spoke to me and the place is a huge car junk/sale yard so I had to navigate through lots of heavy machinery.

Another great Copart location. Was only picking up 1 vehicle, but logged in as soon as I arrived there and had to wait only about 5 minutes to get called in. Had paperwork ready in about 5 minutes and was loaded within 10 minutes. Very quick and efficient! Friendly staff as well!

I have visited this location 5 plus times this past year. I have waited till today to finally post a review thinking maybe it was just luck of the draw. But no today proves this place has absolutely no management in place what so ever. I arrived into the parking lot at 6am, checked into my appointment and waited at 8am I went in and got my title I was in the queue. So how was I the 4th truck loaded out this morning when I was number 1 in the queue. Here it is at 8:42 and just got a text saying the loaded claimed my lot. (So technically not even loaded yet). This is the only Copart that is like this and I have visited numerous across the country.

they keep adding charges of late fees, the wait to pick up your car is UNBELIEVABLE!! the drivers will load other people first for some reason even tho I was there first. and they really mean and they drive crazy and have no respect for me or the car that they loading. always there is more damages when they bring it. I hope you all become like IAA they are really respectful people, fast no matter if I bought 10 or 20 cars I'll get done there in like 10 min. but one car from Copart will take me all day.
