2017 Pacifica with a blown engine & few options. Too expensive to warrant a fix, it was either sell or junk on my own. Cash For Cars gave the highest offer (15% more) of the other vendors we canvassed. Simply enter your car info at the website, you receive an estimated value immediately. A customer service rep contacted me by phone (Jose was my Rep) and walked me through the process. Timeline from intial contact to check in hand/transfer of vehicle is 24-48 hours business days (M-F). I processed on a Friday afternoon, so my vehicle pickup, with check in hand happened the following Monday morning before 10AM. Please note, your check will not be activated for deposit until the vehicle is actually delivered to the yard destination. For us, it was about 90 minutes. Can you get more value selling on your own? Perhaps, but probably not much more & maybe it sits for weeks or months before it sells. The longer it sits, the more your car depreciates & becomes an eyesore. I like my neighbors, so this was the right option for us.
I had a great experience selling my vehicle! We received a quote higher than what we were previously told was possible, and they scheduled payment and pickup all within the week! The process was clear and efficient, and I would absolutely use them again.

There were too many people involved in the process. It took awhile to get the process going (my issue) but once the transaction started to happen it was smooth until pickup. Then everything fell apart. I would not go through this ever again. It felt at the end like my car was going stolen. It did get fixed but I was so stressed that I was not happy afterwards.

I am happy with the price I got for my car, but my experience was not pleasant. First I was told my car would be picked up between 1-5 on Thursday and that someone would call me an hour before they were to arrive at my home. Instead I get a text at 9:22 AM on Thursday stating my car would not be picked up. I called to inquire as to why and I was told that the driver tried to come early in the morning and I wasn't home because I was told my car would be picked up between 1-5PM. I was told everyone was sorry and the person on the phone blamed it on the yard for not knowing procedure and that my car would be picked up between 8-9AM the next day (Friday). She also said they could be there as early as 7 so I should be ready for them. At 10:30 AM the next day my car hadn't been picked up and nobody had tried to contact me. I called to find out what was wrong and I could clearly tell that my car pick up had not been scheduled. They rushed to get someone out and my car was picked up at 3:30 PM on that Friday. I asked many questions about the check I would receive as I was a little concerned about the fact I was turning my car and title over. I was told I could go to their bank and cash it immediately. The bank they used was 90 miles from my home, but I decided to drive there the next day on Saturday since it was 9,500.00 dollars. When I got to the bank I could not cash it because each check they issue has to be uploaded in the computer to be valid and mine wasn't showing up. After spending over 3 hours at the bank and making multiple phone calls I had no choice but to drive home and return on Monday. So, I made the 180 mile round trip on Monday and I did get my money, but I'm out 3 days of my time dealing with this, over 250.00 dollars in diesel fuel, and a ton of stress and worry. Someone is supposed to call me back to make compensation for my fuel and time, but alas no phone call has been received by me. So, I'm not pleased to say the least.
Cash for cars was able to give me an offer and arrange a tow for a non functioning vehicle when everyone else seem uninterested. It was over all an easy process. I felt I was compensated quite fairly for something that was more or less junk to me.
The agent was very sympathetic to my needs, even though I was very depressed losing my car fully packed for my route trip home with two dogs in tow! I didn’t expect to get as much for my car as I thought, but I’m grateful they were very generous that my car was worth more than a scrapyard! The whole process smooth and will refer them to someone else in the same situation!
This was a experience never to be forgotten, the tow truck showed up unannounced, took the truck, no check,no title. Took off with the truck, my husband chased him down, while calling 911, when police pulled him over, he said, it's a misunderstanding. Blames dispatcher,so if my husband doesn't pursue him, would have been a free getaway!! Worst experience ever!!!

Sold my wrecked Ford Focus. They gave me $800 check in my yard, even let me keep my tires. They were very professional and it was as simple as a quick call, a text with license and title pics, then a local tow service came and picked it up all in under an hr. I probably had the cash before they had the car out of my driveway. Definitely will reuse and also highly recommend!!

Fairly easy process. Just had to have all the information available. This company purchased my camper/trailer that needed about $10,000 worth of work in order to be usable. Very thankful they were able to purchase and tow it off!
They could have done better with the price the only damage was the body and made sure I signed that title. I wish they could put it back together so someone else can make use of it as I was able too. Tow company was great
I had two (2) cars that were not drivable. One was in an accident and the other had electrical issues. I listed info on one at the website and received a call the next morning. They were very helpful in getting the details and helping me find the information needed for both cars. They gave me a very reasonable offer and offered pickup the same day. Now I do not have to worry about the cars and the money is in the bank. Excellent service!
